Margherita pizza
Samantha B.

I have been wanting to try this place based on previous reviews and it did not disappoint. I got a large margherita pizza, ham calzone, and chicken parmesan sub. The pizza was good - large, New York style pieces. Not the best I have had in the area, but still good. The ham calzone was HUGE and stuffed with cheese and ham. I was shocked at both how large it was and how much filling was actually inside it. The chicken parmesan sub was incredible especially for the price. Unlike other reviewers, I had a good experience with the service. The boys working were kind and my order was ready when I arrived (within 20 minutes of ordering). I will definitely be back to try more.

Oh my gawd! My daughter and I have eaten at like 31 small, non chain pizza restaurants in the last 2 years and this is easily in my top 5. When the other reviewers say you won't be disappointed, they weren't kidding. We ordered a small cheese and pepperoni (7 slices), two cans of pop all for $14. It stands to reason that if the name of your store as Basil in it you should be able to taste it. It does, the Basil made the pizza even better. The pepperoni were the old fashion, you know the little pools of pepperoni grease. By far my favorite. I'm not a crust eater, complete waste of good quality pizza but I ate the crust. There is indoor seating, just a small section like 3 tables and a picnic table outside. If it's warm out sit outside.

We were excited to see that this restaurant was conveniently located only a couple of miles from the golf course we visited yesterday and decided to give it a try. The previous ratings here are accurate and both my wife and I totally enjoyed our pizza and calzone. The crust was excellent and the sauce on my pizza was extra enjoyable with the flavor of the basil of course. All ingredients were fresh and the staff did a great job taking care of us when visiting. We would for sure recommend this place to any locals who have not yet been and of course to anyone golfing at one of the many nearby beautiful golf courses...

Six of us took the cooking class today for my 70th birthday, including my daughter and her husband,…read moreand their two kids. WE HAD A BALL!! The owner, Elenora, took us in as family from the moment we stepped through the door. She showed us how to make delicious Italian sauces (butter & sage and a cherry tomato sauce). Then she instructed us all in making pasta dough, filling and forming ravioli, and making fettuccine and linguini. We all sat down for one of the best Italian meals we ever had. The pasta was perfect and the sauces were flavorful but light. The food was made with fresh ingredients from her garden and the atmosphere was lighthearted, fun and delightful. I highly recommend Eataliana!!

We had our one year old son with us and the service was quick and friendly. The meals come with salad and rolls, which were both delicious. The rolls were hot and approved by the baby. The salad was good and fresh, we both really enjoyed the Italian dressing. For dinner I got the veggie lasagna and the baby and I both really enjoyed it. My husband ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it was very good! We all liked that the best. The sauce had great flavor so the out being too thick or heavy. For dessert we ordered a crème brûlée and also enjoyed that. It was not too sweet, which we appreciated. We really enjoyed our experience and will be back to try some of the other dishes.

Visited Bologna for our anniversary and it did not disappoint!…read more I saw online you could make reservations but you had to put down a $20 deposit, yikes. We took our chances and came on a Saturday night at 5p. Thankfully the place wasn't busy yet. We got a table in the back entrance and it was perfect. Very romantic with the lighting and intimate dining experience. By the time 530p-6p rolled around it was pretty packed. Our waitress was great - attentive and welcoming. Large menu with lots of options both food and drink. The bread and oil were divine. We went with the happy hour menu which was impressive to see on a weekend. The happy hour menu was amazing - a ton of drink and food options. We were able to order two cocktails and 4 food items all for about $60! The limoncello spritz and limoncello martini were both so delicious and balanced. Ordered the tomato and cucumber salad, carciofi fritti artichoke, mussels, and the meatball trio. I am still dreaming of this meal and would eat it again in a heartbeat! Everything was a good portion size even for happy hour and so delicious. Meatballs were tender, the artichoke had an amazing breading on it, the mussels were fresh, and the salad was refreshing. We were so full afterwards and had to decline dessert. Downstairs has the restrooms but there was a single stall restroom on the main dining floor too. In the front is more of a bar type seating, middle houses the kitchen and the back is the more moody dining room. Metered parking lot in the back of the restaurant. Such a great spot in downtown Rochester!

We just stopped in early for dinner. Sat at the bar. Surprised to find it was happy hour!…read more Ordered the build your own pasta. The Palomino sauce was amazing! Blackened shrimp, spinach and penne pasta combined for my perfect meal! The Italian Wedding soup and bread finished off a delicious dinner.
