Fairly nice Canadian chain grocery store. I wish we have it in NY. Very clean, neat and a lot more interesting, healthier varieties than my Stop and Shop. Lol!

Grand Opening! Was expecting it to be chaotic but everything seemed to be running smoothly. Customer Service from every employee was top notch. Lots of delicious samples that I can't wait to purchase. Even with the limited number of check out lanes it didn't take but a minute to get through the line. There's a bakery, prepared food, a Starbucks, even a bar! Love that even though it's downtown and that it has it's own parking garage! Just grab a parking ticket up In entering and have it validated at the register when checking out or customer service desk on the way out; it's good for 90 minutes!

This had got the be the worst Tom Thumb ever. First time I came here cashier charged me incorrectly for my item. Tried to give it another chance twice and both time Apple Pay did not work on the registers. This is the second time I've had to leave my groceries at the register because the Apple Pay they advertised did not work. On top of that the cashier tried to charge me wrong again until I pointed it out. There's a Tom Thumb down the street in deep Ellum, I recommend that one if you don't want to over pay and second guess if you're going to be able to purchase your groceries.

I am new to Dallas and am still getting used to the grocery store chains that are located here. Prior to moving here, I'd never shopped at a Tom Thumb. However, I quickly realized that it seems to be one of the most popular grocery stores in Dallas. I decided to do my shopping one Friday night and thought that I might as well give this Tom Thumb a try. My GPS led me to this location with no problems (even being a newbie transplant driving in the dark lol). Upon arriving, I realized that the store has garage parking. You can get your ticket validated for up to 90 minutes. Just don't forget to ask at check-out! Getting from the parking garage to the inside of the store requires the use of an elevator. But don't miss the cool murals on the wall just inside the glass doors from the garage! This store is newly opened, and you can definitely tell. Maybe it's because it was Friday night, but the store associates seemed to have every item in perfectly neat order on the shelves. I'll have to visit again during peak hours to find out lol. I was able to find everything that I was looking for, unlike in some other stores where shelf re-stocking can be delayed. Restrooms are located inside the cafe/restaurant within the store (another awesome reason to shop here). I felt perfectly safe both when arriving to and leaving the parking garage. Don't forget your rewards card when you stop in to shop!

The staff here is a little annoying at times, since they're doing a "donate to a local student scholarship drive", and the cashiers guilt-trip you (and they're fairly persistent) into donating. And when you do contribute, they broadcast it throughout the store. I get it's for a good cause, and I hate to be "that guy", but it is a little irritating after a while. On the plus side, the self-checkout attendants are usually fairly helpful and attentive, so that's good. The last time I wanted to check out, all of the registers were closed, so the self-checkout line was over a dozen people/carts long (thankfully two rows of self-checkout made the line dwindle fairly quickly). Another two lanes of self-checkout were opened at the other end of the store, but there were at least 3-4 attendants at the self-checkout lanes, so I'm curious as to why nobody was manning the actual registers. Finally, as I was leaving, two of the staff were having a casual non-work conversation, blocking the exit, so I asked them politely to move for my cart. They did so, but muttered under their breath for me to use the other exit. It was rather rude, since not only is that not appropriate customer service, but my car was parked at the other end of the parking lot, and the exit was right in front of me, which they were blocking. Overall, Krogers itself is great. You can probably find whatever you're looking for there, even if it might not be food, and for reasonable prices. But the staff and service don't always make your shopping experience a positive one.

I stopped in to grab a few bunches so I could build my partner a custom bouquet at home -- roses, winter peonies, and lilies that were all fresh, full, and priced better than anywhere else around here. The customer service at this location is phenomenal. The lady at the register saw the flowers and asked what I was making. When I told her I was building a bouquet myself for my partner, she lit up and said, "That's how you do it." Little moments like that just make the experience feel personal. Trader Joe's employees always bring good energy, and it shows. I took everything home, trimmed the stems, mixed the colors, and built the bouquet with my own hands. The roses brought the romance, the winter peonies added that soft winter elegance, and the lilies tied the whole thing together like a final touch only she would notice. While I was there I also grabbed steaks to cook her dinner later that night. Between the flowers and the meal, Trader Joe's basically gave me everything I needed to make the whole evening special without running all over town. When I handed her the bouquet and then served dinner, the look on her face made the effort worth it. Trader Joe's helped me turn a simple idea into a real moment -- thoughtful, genuine, and meaningful. Five stars for fresh florals, quality steaks, and customer service that actually makes you feel seen. This is why our local store stays our favorite.
