I took my truck here 4 times to fix one issue... my AC. The first time I knew that my compressor was out so I had them replace my compressor, oriface tube, high and low pressure schrader valves (I had to replace the low pressure right after because it was leaking when I got home and they couldn't get me in until the following week), and I had them replace the AC Dryer and all o rings. I immediately realized the AC wasn't blowing cold on idle so I called them to tell them. They asked to bring it back to diagnose it themselves since I did it the first time. After wasting time bringing it to them the second time the VERY RUDE lady at the front desk (Alyssa) calls me to tell my "she doesn't know what I'm talking about the ac works just fine" so I went and picked up the truck. Not happy with it still I called again and she told me to bring it in and show a mechanic myself what is happening, so upon bringing it a third time I spoke with the manager and he said there is definitely an issue and I should bring it BACK in so they can diagnose it AGAIN. I make an appointment bring it back in and they say they can't find any issues after having it for 2 days other than the oriface tube (which they replaced a week prior) was clogged. Needless to say a day after getting home the AC is still not working in idle. They replaced the new AC compressor without flushing the system so I'm assuming there is metal all through the system (from the old locked up compressor). I would avoid this place at all costs huge waste of time and Alyssa had absolutely awful customer service. read more

On Friday Jan 23 I walked into tepe Chevrolet in Milan and told the salesman I needed an all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive vehicle. He showed me a couple SUV's and I purchased the second one he showed me, Under the impression this car was four wheel drive. I drove it home that day, parked it and left the next day Jan 24 to work the winter storm in KY. On Sunday the 25th my wife called me and said she was looking into how to put it into 4 wheel as she would need to drive it on Monday, after the snow storm, and it was only front wheel drive. Being Sunday and the dealer was closed I called Monday morning, the 26th, and said I had bought the wrong car, it was useless to me. And they simply shrugged and said "you drove it off the lot" knowing full well I was mislead. The first words out of my mouth when I walked in was the one thing I needed. Literally no other stipulations. I was willing to get the car I wanted and work out the price details. They were unwilling to even discuss it. That Monday the car was driven to a rehabilitation hospital in the city and home and parked again as there were some computer issues with it. It was driven back to the dealership Friday Jan 30 having not been driven anywhere else and they have had it since. They haven't offered me a rental car. They don't know when it will be done or if they can even fix it. I had a car I was mislead into purchasing for 4 days. That's it. I don't want the car, I don't want to deal with this dealership again. Not for a second have they made any attempt to make this right. They mislead me into buying a car that is defective. And I'm still here, a month later with no car. Who can go a month without transportation? read more

FYI : Read all the # on the bill of sale - I was supposed to get a discount on a tire purchase and was charged full price. They don't return calls or answer calls. Have had multiple issues with Dennis in the service department. He may not be the one working on these vehicles but he clears them to hit the road again! Multiple experiences of taking vehicle in being told everything's fixed and good to go just to have to turn around and bring it back in. Then when the issue has to be fixed again you can't even get a rental car. Been to other dealerships that use loaner cars for advertisement purposes at zero cost to the customer during the repair time. Customer service at the service desk could also be improved not hard to put a smile on and be a people person in a position that serves the people! read more

We drove almost 100 miles to view, and ultimately but, a car from Tom Tepe. It wasn't just any car, but a Chevrolet Corvette! When purchasing such a car, one expects the ultimate product to be the "best it can be." Don't get me wrong..we love the car, but....instead the vehicle had lights that were not working and had to be replaced. And, while that may seem trivial, lights on a Vette can be quite costly. But more than the additional costs associated with the lights was our disappointment with the dealership, as we are "returning" customers there. More attention to detail and more attention to customers who return would definitely be optimal in having more repeat buyers. read more

After getting a new job, I figured it was time that I owned a car that made me look like a presentable adult. After a bit of online searching, I found a little Fiat 500 that caught my eye. I called ahead first to make sure the vehicle was still available, and the woman I spoke with set up an appointment. I arrived to find that the car was already pulled around and prepped for me to give it a test run. I loved it (not that I would have let them know that). I put on my poker face, time to negotiate. I understand that in car price negotiation we each have our own agenda. I want a lower price, they want a higher price. I made an offer and was told that the sticker price was as low as they could go. Don't lie to me, Tom Tepe, we both know that's not true. I understand low-balling me on a counter-offer, but nobody pays stickers price... and if you do? Well...call me up the next time you go to buy a car. When he finally moved closer to the price I felt comfortable with, I told him I wanted a moment to think about it....he tapped his watch and rolled his eyes to the back of his head. I asked him if I was wasting his time by being there. Is this a sales tactic? It sort of just seemed rude... I understood it was toward the end of the day, but I had just driven 40+ minutes and was pondering a decision worth thousands of dollars. I counter-offered again (I was going to sign before that stunt). After a game of good-cop/bad-cop, the sales director (bad cop) moved a bit more on the price and we found an agreeable number. I signed the paperwork and that's all she wrote. Don't get me wrong...there were a lot of friendly employees at Tom Tepe, and the price they were asking for the car wasn't a bad one. Not a bad experience, but definitely some room for improvement. read more
