I agreed to have the work done. when I got my car back it started making noise so I took it to a muffler shop and they told me it was my catalytic converter and the 3rd one was NOT replaced!!!! original to my car. so I took it back to T D and they (Nick the rude manager) asked if I had my quote and if I cud prove it? I didn't even know my car had 3 catalytic converters. my quote was verbal from another manager named Cory. So my fault not getting that in writing. buyer beware. This is my first time buying new tires through Tire Discounters. They were very friendly and honest they didn't do anything I didn't want them to do they double checked everything with me. Also this location the gentleman was able to provide me a ride by dropping me off at the gym picking me up when my service was done which I really appreciated. It was a little more than I was wanting to spend I was thinking maybe 4 to 600 Max it ended up being 801 also because the gentleman was willing to honor $80 off for a promotion that expired the day before but I went in between with my tires as far as it be 65,000 mile coverage instead of 45. And also I want for the tires in between value-wise so not the most expensive but not the cheapest also because I live on a steep gravel windy driveway. So I want to make sure I'm safe they also offer free rotation if you buy 4 tires. And a free rotation every 5,000 miles is recommended. read more

UPDATE: After leaving the revised review regarding the spacers that I wanted installed, I was immediately contacted by Tire Discounters from Sergio. They reached out to me to better understand the issue at hand. It was then that they informed me that the individual that told me that the spacers were a liability issue was in fact a new hire and was not aware of special accommodations such as installing washer-type spacers to increase hardware clearance. During the call Sergio was very empathetic and wanted to ensure that I got the spacers installed and checked to see if they would be able to install them for me ASAP. Unfortunately I had already installed them, myself. Though I am still frustrated that I had to do the installation on my own, I respect the fact that Tire Discounters went out of their way to contact me and better understand the situation and attempt to make things right. One of the biggest things that annoys me is there 2-3 guys behind the counter, 1 is waiting on a customer, the other 2 talking. You walk into the shop and no one acknowledges you until the customer at the counter is finished and you walk up and stand there, and wait. Every time, for years. I had an appointment for a tire rotation, balance and to check the tires for any defect as I have a vibration until the tires are driven for about 10 miles. I arrived 15 minutes early, they took the car right in and it sat for a bit over an hour until they started on it. I was told 30 minutes, it took an hour. Fellow pulled it out and brought my keys to the counter, a guy started to do the paperwork but left. I finally walked up to the counter and asked if I was ready to go, the guy at the counter looked over at the papers and said looks like he's started the paperwork, and that was it. Stand and wait again. This is also a constant problem, they do not promptly get people out the door. Finally the guy comes back, I asked if they found anything, it's written on the paper no leak, he says there was no leak. I said there wasn't a leak, you were supposed to look for a defect or something that might cause vibration. He said they balanced them and you're good to go. I look on the paperwork, there is a -$49.00 charge for a road hazard guarantee tire repair. How do you repair something that wasn't even leaking or requested? That is why I go to the dealer for anything but tires. read more

Serious problem with Tire discounters on 50 on Greendale. I got new tires with them July 29,2021 - took their recommendation on which ones to get on my 2015 Chevy equinox. Sunday August 22 I had a low tire pressure warning showing PSI OF 17 down to 10, I first assumed I had run something over and took it there Monday August 23 to have it repaired. I was told there was a leak in the seal and it was fixed. Tuesday August 24 I woke up to low tire pressure again in the 20s and took it back to Tire Discounters to have it checked again. The staff was NOTHING BUT RUDE. Nick the manger started off nice telling me he'd have It fixed that day and kept it all day to triple check (per my request) that it was fixed. In the evening Nick was less than helpful and baffled - but refusing to try putting on a new tire "because this one was fine, there is nothing wrong with the tire" TODAY WEDNESDAY August 25 I STILL have a car reading low tire pressure. I have now filed with the BBB and left a message for the corporate office. read more

Everytime I make an appointment there I have had to wait 2 hours. Today my appointment was for 1:00 pm. I left and returned 3.5 hours later and my car was still in the same place I left it. This location is extremely professional, thorough and detailed. We had an issue with our rims that were sent by another company. They were the wrong rims and became stuck to our vehicle. Tire discounters helped alleviate the stress by thoroughly reviewing the vehicle, identifying the issues, working with the company and us to repair our vehicle. We were traveling through Ohio and stayed in Lawrenceburg, IN and on the morning of March 9, 2019 we had a flat tire on our 2013 Traverse rear driver tire. We discovered what looked like a nail on the edge of the tire (unrepairable) and stopped there as they sold Goodyear Tires. They however do not stand behind Goodyears Road Hazard warranty purchased in Minnesota. So since it was a Saturday and we couldn't find a dealer open or close by we felt it was necessary that we replace the tire. We told the gentleman to check the tire to make it sure it was indeed a unrepairable flat. They said it was and we had to buy a tire. Upon inspection of the tire at the Goodyear in Minnesota, the tire had a nail in the middle of the tread and the nail in the side was superficial. Shocking. I feel we were misled and that TireDiscounters conned us. They obviously didn't look close a the tire. I know there is nothing we can do about it. We had the tire repaired and put back on our car and it's fine. I would return the tire to the TireDiscounters if there is one in Minnesota. What a scam. read more

called several day ahead of time to set an appointment, got there before appointment time, one half hour after the appointment time the van got pulled into the bay it took 2 1/2 hours before it was pulled back around to the front of the shop. I asked the manager if the valve stem leak was fixed, he said he didn't know and would ask the installer, 15 minutes later the installer came out to find the leaky valve stem which he did not look at even though in was on the paperwork he had gotten to perform the install and the manager ask me which one was the leaker and had went out to tell the guy personally and he still didn't do it. as the installer was checking the valve stems, the manager pulled another car into the bay and the tech couldn't pull the van in or wouldn't to finish the van. he was working on the other car instead. mind you we had been there close to 4 hours when I finally said forget it ill fix it myself and we left.. I gave them the benefit of the doubt from the first time I was there almost 6 months earlier and waited for almost 6 hours for 4 tires and they gave me a free oil change card for the wait which I couldn't even use during this wait. this place needs to put their customers first and quit over booking jobs.. never again. read more

On the evening of Oct 16th 2019 my wife had a flat on her Passat while leaving work. She called me as it was getting late and I called Tire Discounters. Ryan was very helpful and sent Randy to her rescue. They had her spare on in record time and Randy even followed her to Tire Discounters to make sure she made it safe. Ryan got her in immediately and she was able to get 4 new Michelin tires installed while we waited. The reason i decided to write the review was that Tire Discounters don't have road-side assistance. They don't have any thing like AAA. These guys took it upon themselves to go out of their way to help a stranded motorist. Went in for a wheel alignment and tire rotation. Just bought 4 new tires less then 4 months ago. They could not do the tire rotation because they lost the wheel lock to the locking tire lug. They tried to blame me but they are the only ones who have touched the tires since they were installed. Said they always give the special lug lock socket back to the customer but they did not to me. Why would they not just put it back in the vehicle where they found it? Could not do the rotation and had to go to the dealer to get another locking socket which takes a week to 10 days. Meanwhile for 4 months and now another 10 days if I have a flat it cannot be changed and I have the unneeded hassle of having to drive to the dealership and prove I own the car to get the socket then back to them to give them the invoice. They did agree to pay for the new socket but not for the hassle to their customer for their mistake. Have to wait for them to send me a check from their home office but they get their money up front. Very poor customer service - won't use them again. Would recommend any customers to check any work they do very closely and be sure you have all your parts before you leave. read more

We recently purchased 4 new tires for our car and we've never used this business before. Everything went smoothly for the purchaser but then a week later my tire light came on. I stopped in to have them look at it and did not receive good service. I was basically asked what I wanted them to do about it (duh, fix it) and sent on my way without the problem being fixed. I went to their website and sent an email regarding what happened. To my surprise and delight, an hour later the store manager called. An hour after that the Regional Manager called. I can say that although I was disappointed in the service I received when I had a problem, the management did a great job of reassuring me that they understood and would do something about fixing the problem. I had an appointment to get 800.00 worth of brand new tires installed. My appt. was for 5:00 I arrived around 4:45. The salesman seamed irritated because I asked for them to use seat covers also I asked to make sure my tire pressure was 35 psi. I left and came back at 6:30 hoping to drive away feeling safer with brand new tires. My vehicle was sitting in the car bay and had not been touched, and there was 2 tire technicians sitting around playing on their phones.They close at 7:00 so I told them I was leaving and wanted my keys. I will admit I was not a happy camper.The salesman slammed the keys in my hand and started complaining that I was a pain in the ass. On Tuesday, May 28, my gf went in Tire Discounters in Greendale, IN to get an oil change. She dropped it off and came back 3 hours later to pick it up and her SUV hadn't moved. Older vehicle, high miles, but still runs well. The engine had a ticking noise, but again, just dropped it off for an oil change. As she came back to pick it up and noticing it hadn't moved, she went inside and spoke to an older, bald, stocky, caucasian male to find out why it hadn't been done. Without provocation, (she literally just asked why), this man stick his hand 3 inches from her face and says and I quote, "None of this!!" Making a closing gesture with his fingers at her mouth. Then yells over to another employee and says, "Can you deal with her?!!" Again all she did was ask why. She's not a mechanic, she was just trying to understand. Do NOT go here if you like how your wheels currently look! I took my car in for a simple tire rotation and balance, and what I got were wheels that came back with the entire inner lip (behind the spokes) so scuffed and scratched that it now looks like a completely different type of metal around the entire inner perimeter of the wheel. VERY noticeable I might add. Their machine they use to balance the wheels and put the weights on must clamp the wheel onto rusty razor blades and then rotate them, because that's what it looks like. What I had to sign before I gave them my keys is troubling also. There is a small agreement you must sign in the paperwork at the bottom of the page that states that if you have aluminum wheels (mine were), then they aren't responsible for damage that occurs when the lugnuts loosen as you're driving. I know that if I went to argue this damage with the manager, then he would bring up this aluminum BS and be even less happy to help me than he already was. I am from Wisconsin and was on vacation when my right rear wheel started squeaking. Initially, I thought it may be the breaks. When I took it to Tire Discounters (near our hotel) Dave from corporate looked at it and said he thought it may be the breaks as well. However, Dave recommended that I should have it looked at. I left and came back and spoke with Paul who was amazing. Paul was very professional, courteous, and most important to me, reassuring. I thought I may get taken advantage of being out-of-state since that happens a lot; I was still on the cautious side despite Paul's high level of customer service. Paul had John (mechanic) look at the car. John found out that the wheel bearing needed replacement, not the breaks. The breaks were actually fine. I was quoted $438.00 for parts and labor since it was to take about 2 hours due to the full replacement of the wheel bearing. Well, not only was it done within a couple hours, it was done for almost half the cost. Paul told John that he would be able to do it in half the time, completed it in an hour, and then I got a discount on the parts. It ended up being $254.73! This was AFTER I signed to having it done for $438.00. These guys were outstanding. Not only was it done in record time, but they were also as honest as you can get. I run the Seniors Bass Tournaments out of Tanners Creek, and when I returned to the ramp Thursday the rear tire on my van was flat. I was able to get enough air in it to make it straight to Tire Discounters and they had the tire off and inspected in ten minutes. When tire rack shipped a new tire I went there to install it and in 20 minutes they had the correct tire off the car and the new one mounted and balanced.
