Walk around to the side of the building to enter*** This place was unique, decorated on every surface. Netting, shells, fishing floats all over the ceiling. Antiques all around, there was a trunk for a table in the area we sat at, then they opened a curtain to another room for overflow. We sat at a large table for our group that ventured over for the night. Great ambiance, I can't speak to the service because I didn't go up to the bar to order. We loved the live music and the experience we had with our friends that night.

If you get an outside seat or a window one, you ll see the bay. The servers are the friendliest people I ever seen. The only thing that can be improved is the hours of the kitchen. They only work till 9 pm. Although the bar is open till very late night.

It was a typical Irish pub feel and upstairs. they had a spirit tasting room which the little gal was very nice and polite. she knew her Irish whiskeys so we bought a bottle. we went back downstairs. The fish and chips was pretty good not the best I've ever had, but not the worst. my daughter's nachos would have been good, but the chips were very stale. First things first, no food here, just drinks. Second, live trad music at 6pm & 10pm when I went in early October. Seating is tight so get there early & grab a few beers and find yourself a spot. This was a fun pub and the beers and music were just what I wanted. I plan to come back the next time I'm in Galway.
