Matt was very nice, informative, seemingly knowledgeable and promised an estimate soon. He understood I had a time frame for having the work done. After a couple of weeks, I left a voice message inquiring how the estimate was going; after three weeks I sent an e-mail and requested a reply....now it's a month and I have not heard a word. I find this totally unprofessional and irresponsible. Is it because it was a small job comparatively; is it because I am a woman and don't know very much about design or remodeling, is it because I told him I was on a budget???? I will never know. If he didn't want to or couldn't do this job, all he needed to do was say so. I would have moved on. In my older age, I want to speak up when there is an inequity, poor performance, lack of respect and people not doing their job. Would he like his wife or mother to get this type of treatment?
