It was a Terrible buying experience…read more We were out of town buyers and our agent failed her basic feduciary responsibility of protecting us. We walked in to our new home to find an insect infested filthy house with dirty and broken windows, no water, a broken landscape watering system, plugged up drains and shower heads, a water heater filled with sediment, chemically corroded appliances, clothes and trash from previous owner, and disgusting things like a used hospital itinerary bottle, 4 year old insect traps, beat up, dinged, filthy cabinets. It has cost us 10s of thousands of dollars to correct the basics. The Long Realty inspectors were either terrible at their job or were directed to cut inspection corners or paid off. Never heard from the agent again. To us Long Realty just took the money and ran. Do not use Long Realty to buy a house if your expectations are that they will do a quality job of representing your interests and protecting you.
