They advertise their financial products on Credit Karma- who obviously have my credit score. This loan option was rated "excellent approval" with the information they already had from my credit rating- so I proceeded to obtain the loan from One Main. I only proceeded because of the terms and interest rate they advertised on a particular loan appealed to me. So I moved forward with them - they did a hard-hit on my credit which I knew would happen ....The only reason I agreed to a hard-hit is because I was guaranteed the terms that I selected according to Credit Karma website . Then it begins....Once you agree to continue with the offer/loan- you have to speak with someone at One Main - that's when they inform you they are now offering you a completely different loan with new terms, and different interest rate! What?!! I of course refused the alternative loan option...But the damage is now done to my credit with the "hard hit". Bait and switch! Unethical company-just pathetic!!!! I would've never agreed to move forward with the loan knowing that they were going to change the interest rate and the terms just completely ridiculous! Stay away! It's disgusting they can treat people this way and call themselves some upstanding business! OneMain is a crap operation.

I am 80 years old and will die soon and the loan company will be screwed. In addition I am still required to pay full coverage on a 14 year old car. These two take up half my income. i asked them to allow title release so i can sell the car and continue paying the balance and the 'financial genuises' could not come up with a solution. She made me feel not alone and chnaged my payment due date. She had a smike cause I coukd feel it through the phone. I have call center experiance too.
