While trying on the suits, the associate checked my progress and brought me different sizes and other suits to try based on things I was discovering. I was really pleased with the things she brought to me to try. In fact, it was a selection she brought to me that I ended up purchasing. The selection of two-piece suits offered various degrees of coverage and support. I didn't check out any of the one-piece swimsuits, so I cannot comment on their quality. There were many colors to choose from, but sadly the truly vibrant colors I was searching for appeared to be out of season. Items are sold separately, so it's easy to mix and match items, and even buy two tops with one matching bottom to leave with two swimsuits! While I was browsing, I heard a few people come into the store and leave shortly thereafter. I can see that this would be very frustrating if this was the routine that happened throughout the day. I imagine some people walk in and get sticker shock, so they don't stick around. I mention this because this store sells quality swimwear. If you want to spend less than $20 on a swimsuit, go to Walmart. But this store will sell you items that will hold up longer than one season and stay in great condition. Oscar helped me with jeans while another staff member helped my bf with tshirts (didn't catch his name). I told Oscar my dilemma with my 1955 jeans, and he recommended boncoura work pants to me. I think they're a new product and were made in partnership with self edge? I don't remember all the details beyond him telling me he fits women in these pants because they surprisingly fit women really well. I tried them on...and yeah. I walked out of the store with them and wore them the rest of the day lol. Everyone was super helpful while we shopped and tried clothes on. I think I actually had a better experience here than at the SF store. They have a parking lot out front, so the store is really accessible. If you're looking for raw denim, visit self edge. If you're looking for premium, well-made basics or you're into working menswear from Japan, go to self edge. They're knowledgeable, and they're passionate about the industry and products they carry.
