Pros: You get lots of food, probably too much! I ordered the whiting, which came as fried bites. It was really good, but it was way more than I thought it would be. It's good if you can have someone to share the food with, for sure. Cons: It was LOUD. We asked a few times if the volume of the speakers could be turned down, as the music was turned up to club volume, but we were told it's trivia night and the people needed to hear (there are two sections of the restaurant, I don't know why participants couldn't all sit on one side). It was difficult to talk and listen to friends who were literally right next to me. Once the dj and the host left, it was easier to talk, but my ears were ringing (until the next day). It's unfortunate because we chose this spot cuz it's nearby and I really wanted to catch up with a friend, but that didn't really happen. If you go, you might want to bring ear plugs. read more

My experience with Tom, Dick & Hank's in College Park was, without question, one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. I spent over $70 expecting a quality meal, but what I received was completely unacceptable. The food arrived cold, the portions were surprisingly small, and multiple items that I paid for were missing. I never received my corn muffin, my sauce, or the extra sauce that I was charged for. It is frustrating to pay premium prices and not even receive everything you ordered. The food itself was even more disappointing. The potato salad was bland, had an unpleasant taste and texture, and was honestly inedible. The meat was extremely tough, dry, and lacked the quality I expected. Almost every part of the meal was disappointing, and it felt like no care or attention was put into preparing or checking my order before it was sent out. This was my first time ordering from your restaurant, and it will absolutely be my last. I cannot recommend Tom, Dick & Hank's to anyone based on this experience. For the amount of money I spent, I expected fresh, flavorful food and accurate service. Instead, I received a cold, incomplete, and disappointing meal that was not worth the price. But then no one ever came to our table, so I went to the bar to ask if we were supposed to order there. The bartender sent a server to our table. He had the pulled pork with mac n cheese and potato salad. Everything was delicious. The portions are perfect. Our waitress was so nice and gave great recommendations. The decor is modern and beautiful. They played good music and it wasn't too loud. The parking situation could be a little better, but there's nothing the owners can do about that so they shouldn't be faulted for it. They deserve way more than 3.6 stars... come try it for yourself.
