Also, a slice of the butter pound cake-which was a delight. I'll definitely return to checkout the food. The happy hour menu offered great selections for a fraction of the regular cost. The staff were cool. Our group was not a fan of the $26 smoked old fashion. The prep presentation was entertaining, but was well overpriced. We also didn't like the $5 entertainment fee. If you're going to have an entertainment fee offer a live band, singer, etc. Anything but a standard DJ and locals doing random karaoke. I'm unsure if the $5 entertainment fee was even advertised. I ended up at Aye Tea Elle to celebrate a birthday and had an absolute blast. The ambiance of Aye Tea Elle is vibrant, upbeat, and super trendy. The venue is very spacious and I love how they have made the best use of the space to make room for all forms of fun. Aye Tea Elle has a few parking spots in the front and on the side, however, the city of College Park offers parking in the Parking Lot on the next corner so parking is not an issue at all. There is an outside patio area, however, as it was raining, I wasn't able to enjoy it. However, if you stop through on a good day, it is an option. The staff was very friendly and carried smiles all night long. They were very attentive to the needs of those with our party and really engaging throughout the entire evening. As it was Saturday night, Aye Tea Elle was rocking out themed as First Class Saturdays with music by DJ Aha Da Amazing. Babeeeeeeeee, it was a timeeeeeeeeee. I'm talking Music, Food, Fun, and Vibezzzzz. First Class Saturdays is something to check out if you're in the area. Aye Tea Elle has a menu that offers a variety of options. I had a great experience at Aye Tea Elle Elevated Tapas for a date with my husband. I made the reservation online and we arrived around 6:45 so we could enjoy Happy Hour. Parking was limited in the front of the restaurant, but we were able to snag a spot right in front. I did see additional free parking within walking distance as well. We were able to check in with the host easily and quickly when we arrived a few minutes early. As the host brought us to our table, I noticed the dim lights and nice decor that included pretty paintings and decor that reminded me of the culture of the city as well as our airport, with a hit of elegance. The host introduced us to our server, King who took great care of us. Once seated, King filled our glasses with cold ice water & lit a candle at our table. He gave us a moment to review the menu via QR code. Then, I had the pleasure of trying three different flavored lemon drops: strawberry, blueberry & peach. I loved that the strawberry one included the actual strawberry fruit with it, but all 3 were great. The blueberry flavor was sweet and did not include berries, but did have the lemon slice. The peach one looked a lot like a classic lemon drop but tasted like peach juice & I left feeling real good! Thankfully, I was not driving home. These were on the happy hour menu for $11 each (Note: only the original flavor lemon drop is $10 during happy hour). The drinks were 10/10! For our entrees we decided to keep it simple and opt for the aye bay bay wings (extra crispy) with ranch and hand cut french fries. Hubby opted for the sweet chili wings with hand cut french fries and they were also good. The cocktails came out quickly and so did our food. King kept our glasses of water full and checked on us continuously. We did not experience karaoke, but it was going to be set up soon and around the time we were heading out. Throughout the night, I found myself singing along with the music selection. The music was a VIBE! I enjoyed hearing a mix of music, mostly r&b that included Usher, Summer Walker, Sunshine Anderson, Neyo, Victoria Monet and Burna Boy. There was also a few hits from the 80s and 90s thrown in there! Had a great time at Aye Tea Elle. The host was great. Told us some history & facts on the spot. The wait staff was wonderful. Rae was very nice & helpful. We even had shots with one of the male staff who had a birthday coming up. We went on Saturday when they had "Dining In the Crates" night. DJ's Lady Marauder and Johnnie Dynamite were spinning vinyls that had been sampled in other songs. There was even an opportunity to make a game out it. So much fun. And such a great vibe. Wish I had taken pics of my food. I was hungry so.... I had the fried lobster bites which were cooked just right. So delicious. Also had a mixed greens salad (good but a lot). She and the rest of the staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Parking was convenient, less than a minute away, and the prices were pretty much standard Atlanta brunch prices....nothing outrageous. The only downside was that the music was way too loud. Went to Aye Tea Elle this past Saturday, the food was good, although we did not get to sample a large amount of food, the food we did receive, was great. Their happy hour consists of reduced prices on food and drinks, so we tried their wings, and they were good enough to order twice lol. The service was great as well, very attentive and caring. This place does have limited parking in front of the restaurant and on the side of the restaurant. This place has a beautiful ambiance and resembles a lounge. My friend made a reservation and upon arriving we were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive and nice. She checked on us every five minutes or so. Highly requested the lemon drop which you opt for different flavors like blueberry, regular lemon, and strawberry. I got the strawberry and blueberry lemon drops. I started off with their Caesar salad and it was okay. To me, the star of the show was the entree. I got their buffalo wings and fries. The entrees were on point! My friend got the A Bay Bay wings which so will be trying next time around. This location does have an outside lounge area perfect for summer nights. It was my birthday and a good friend invited me to dinner here. I live in the area literally 1.3 miles away but had never heard of it. This is a black owned restaurant that also serves as a lounge. It is on the same street as the Fire Department just across the street. The decor is very cozy and intimate. Black table cloths on table along with a candle. We were seated very quickly. Although we went on a Saturday around 7:30, we didn't need reservations. We tried to make a reservation but they wanted a credit card. Our server took our drink orders and he also brought us a small container of popcorn to nibble while we were waiting for our food. As with most new restaurants there is no paper/hard copy menu. You have to scan a QR code to being up the selections. I understand the advancement of technology and the ability to change the menu online. However some eyes need to see it on paper. What we ordered: Sides and Appetizers Fried Green Tomatoes (4) $12 served with house made remoulade sauce. This was a miss. I had high hopes because Fried Green Tomatoes is usually a hit. 4 pieces of tomato that was mushy in the inside and lacked any flavor. They were pretty small and at $3 a slice it just wasn't worth it. Fried Brussels $8 I will try Brussels no matter where I go as long as they are fresh and not steamed. These were so good. I didn't want it to end. Entrees Aye Tea Elle Burger $18 Our handcrafted "beef" burger topped with cheddar or monterey jack, served on a grilled brioche bun topped with with lettuce, grilled onions, tomato, & applewood smoked bacon with french fries and secret sauce. This is a win! The burger tasted home made with fresh ground round meat. Nice well out together burger and the secret sauce was so good on the fresh cut fries. Red Snapper Filet $35 Pan Seared or Fried Topped with Caribbean Salsa served over rice pilaf & plantains. This was another hit. My fried ordered it fried. Beautiful plate of fish and peppers. It also had a slightly sweet taste of the peppers mixed with the fish. Chef's kiss. So very good. Dessert Butta Love 9 Butter Pound Cake with Caramel Drizzle. This was ordinary cake. Nothing fancy or significant about the taste. I love cake but this just didn't hit for me. Yoni's Famous Bread Pudding 12 topped with Ice Cream & Caramel Drizzle. Came here for a closer date night out (sometimes we don't like dealing with driving into the city OR paying an arm & a leg for parking). Hostess: super warm, quickly attended to us, and there was a white sage candle burning that made it feel super cozy. Server: Kelvin was attentive with out hovering and he was really nice. I felt like he came to see us promptly despite having a lot of tables. Drinks: All Da Smoke was sooooo good and a fun presentation! I also got the I-85 (or 75, can't remember lol) which was like a French 75. It was GOOD!!! My husband got the Playas Ball which he said was strong also. The drinks were strong without being liquor forward or bitter. Definitely 10/10. Food: we got the fried green tomatoes as appetizers and they were good but not the best we'd ever had. He got the burger which was pretty good and I got the seafood Mac which I would give 8.5 or 9/10. I would have liked more cheese than sauce BUT flavor was good and it wasn't skimpy on the seafood like most places. Ambience: 15/10!!! Music was fantastic. The Southside FINALLY have somewhere I would come back to! Brought Hubby hear for Father's Day weekend on a Friday for the R&B Karaoke and the Happy Hour. Both did not disappoint! Parking: Parking is extremely limited on the front and side of the establishment. However, there is a free parking lot corner adjacent that wasn't a far walk. We had the pleasure of being hosted by Kane. He was super personable, attentive and quick with the orders - we love a quick turnaround on food and drinks! The Happy Hour menu is slim but still powerful. Keeping in mind this is a Tapas restaurant so don't expect too many large plates. They do have large plates available on their regular menu but utilized the Happy Hour to gage more of the menu. Hands down, the Tequila Lemon Drop had me in a choke hold. We sampled plenty from the veggie eggrolls, Chargrilled Oysters, Caesar Salad, Red Snapper Bites, Fries, Pota Bravos, Aye Tee Elle Burger and the Pound Cake. Everything was delicious and came out hot and fresh! The R&B Karaoke brought all the good vibes too. I highly suggest coming for a girls night or a guys night too as they had plenty of screens to view the games. They have a patio for hookah as well but we opted to sit outside this go around. 11/12/22 - Update: I ordered takeout literally one week later and was highly disappointed. The food wasn't fresh and tasted refried. I called to place a takeout order and was told by Tiffany to order via Uber Eats. I placed an order & it was cancelled. I did not realize until being minutes away for pickup. When I called I was told the order was cancelled by Uber because they were out of Veggie egg rolls. AGAIN. No one called to let me know, so upsetting. The food is overpriced and not consistent. It's a intimate space, with uplighting. Our server Lauren was helpful and patient. What we ordered; Trio - it includes Veggie Egg Rolls, but the restaurant was out. Unfortunately we could not get doubles of any of the options in the trio so we had to get Fried Green Tomatoes. I'm not a fan of those but my friend enjoyed them. Saw photos on IG and this place looked super dope. The decor was great. Parking was small in front but had a large overflow lot across street and you can request pick up. Our waiter was amazing(jarren) he was very knowledgeable about menu and drink options and super attentive. The food however left a bit to be desired. The snapper and grits for flavorless, lamb chop tony and overcooked(evenly though requested medium) , eggs were watery. We were first reservation of the day so weird that service was slow af. The drinks were good and priced like most Atl places. We started outside but it was super hot and had no fans on patio. Parking - Free Angled Street Parking in the front, around the side of the building, In addition to an outdoor parking lot across the street. She gave us time to review the menu to make our food choices. She came back for our food choices about 10 minutes later but without our Cocktails. We waited about 30 minutes to get our drinks and probably over an hour for our food. The Cesar Salad w/shrimp was very good the shrimp was seasoned and cooked just right I had about 6 medium-sized shrimp & the Cesar dressing was delish it could've been homemade, definitely ask for an extra side. Lol The fried lobster tail & seafood rice were both well-seasoned and the rice had a nice amount of seafood in it. The food portions are small(tapas). The Trio the ColliPark Cauliflower was well seasoned & fried just right to a golden brown, the Salmon Bites had very few pieces of salmon mostly fried bread. The steamed Brussel Sprouts I requested to be well done and they were still hard. They did give me another order but I took it to go so Im not sure how they turned out. We wanted deserts but since we had already waited for over an hour for our food we opt'd not to get any. It's puts you in a very laidback mood, I think it's a great place for date night or small group of friends. The tables are kind of close together but I loved the chairs and all. The restaurant is located off the main thoroughfare in East Point with adequate parking directly across the street. I will say the service was great. Our host was very communicative when we arrived for our reservation as to when we'd be seated. He walked us to the table after just a few minutes. He then told us of the cashless system, how to access the various menus ( all scannable with QR codes) and who our server would be. Our server came by shortly thereafter. He took drink orders while we checked out menus. We ordered two of the specialty cocktails and both had the fried lobster tails for entrees. While we waited for dinner I had time to peruse the space. They have a DJ spinning tunes and the decor is trendy modern. Velvet chairs, black tablecloths and Art Deco lighting. There is outdoor patio seating with heaters, if you want to smoke cigars or hookah. Our dinner arrived and we were both underwhelmed. Portions are small. Food was bland and meh. No vegetable with the entree just a starch and protein. No garnish. Drinks were ok. We thought the items overpriced. Cocktails were more expensive than spots in Buckhead. An old fashioned on their menu was priced at $40 citing a table side presentation!! Other Speciality cocktails average $16. Same for their entrees. Those average over $30 each. We noticed larger groups and despite them being together, they were basically seated in the same vicinity. Tables aren't repositioned or moved for larger parties. There is a DJ booth but there wasn't a DJ on this particular Saturday evening. Also, if you can't find decent parking and have to park across the street, they will escort you to your car via a golf cart (I think that's what you call it). This is a cashless establishment but you're more than welcome to tip with cash and the menus are online. Our server was new; therefore, we understood how it can be for the first day on the job and figured we'd all experience what it's like together. The drinks were delicious and their presentation was everything! The veggie eggs rolls were okay. I wasn't a huge fan of them. There is limited parking in front of the restaurant but we didn't have a problem with it as it wasn't super busy. I did see on their website that there is free additional parking at the fire station and they do provide a shuttle service if needed. We went on a Wednesday night and on Wednesday nights they have live jazz which was a great touch to the intimate setting. The first thing I noticed that stuck out to me was the seating. When I tell you those were some of the most comfortable chairs I've ever sat in for a dining experience! They are modern and elegant plus chairs that fit the whole aesthetic of the restaurant. You will find other modern touches throughout the restaurant that just adds to how nice it is. We started with drinks. I got the Black Girl Magic and he ordered The Aye Tea Alien which is a smoked old fashion. I don't have it documented on here, but when I say it's a whole presentation! It comes in a wooden box and when the box is opened up, the drink is smoking. It was very cool. The black girl magic was very good as well. I was pleasantly surprised as I am not big on Vodka, but the Kettle One Botanical Vodka that they use along with the muddled berries gave it a very refreshing taste. I thoroughly enjoyed that drink. On top of that we actually got to try a cocktail that wasn't on the menu yet. It may be on the menu now as I went a number weeks ago. It's called the Thrasher if I remember correctly and there's jalapeño tequila in there and that thang was goodt! On to the food now! I didn't take pictures of everything as I wanted to enjoy the experience and be in the moment. We got the fried green tomatoes and the veggie egg rolls for starters. This is actually my first time ever trying fried green tomatoes. Don't come for me y'all lol. They were actually very good and the remoulade sauce that came with it was delicious. I really enjoyed the battle on the tomatoes. The sauce that accompanied the veggie eggrolls was amazing as well. I think it was there version of a sweet chili sauce, but they call it aye tea elle sweet sauce. For entrées we ordered the lamb lollipops and the red snapper. The red snapper can come pan seared or fried. I decided to get it pan seared and it was absolutely delicious. The plantains were cooked just right and the escovitch sauce that came on the red snapper was the bomb.com! It was served over a bed of rice pilaf which was great as well. I was told the lamb lollipops melted in your mouth. For dessert we got the fried cheesecake bites. Those were pretty good as well. There are a number of seating options in the restaurant. If you just want to come hang out at the bar you can do so, but they also have an outside patio but it happened to be raining that night so no one was out there. The staff was great and made sure you were taken care of the whole night. They have a number of different things throughout the week on certain nights and they also serve brunch. They are on the pricey side, but the whole thing they're going for is an elevated dining experience so I believe the prices are reflective of the type of experience and ambience they are trying to provide to dinners. Whether you're coming for brunch with friends, date night, or solo Aye Tea Elle won't disappoint! 10/10 recommend!! read more

This place had parking right out front for me and my party. They offer a shuttle if you do have to park far. The guest service was top tier. My party did not order any entries, I ordered the salmon bites. The bar service was great. The drinks were nice. It's a good place to hang out alone or a large party. The only down side was the service was a little slow, though they were not busy. read more

My girlfriend made us a reservation for Aye Tea Elle since it has been on her list for us to go and we were in the area since I picked her up from the airport. Our reservation was Friday at 8pm. To our surprise it really wasn't packed as we thought it would be. We were seated immediately and our waiter came over and gave us recommendations. Our waiter was really good explaining his recommendations and customer service. We decided to order several food items and just share and we did order some cocktails. The cocktails were great! We both tried each other's cocktails and were impressed. The food we ordered included wings, crab cake, fried green tomatoes, red snapper nuggets and veggie rolls. The food was great! The only down side is that the tables are extremely too close together. Overall, it was a great date night dinning experience and we will return! read more

Five. Stars, hands-down for the food, the service and the ambience! Came here for happy hour and sat at the bar. Our bartender was amazing. She was very knowledgeable on food and drinks gave great recommendations. I ordered an old fashion ,cauliflower bites, and sweet potato waffle fries. Oh and brussels sprouts. Everything that I ordered was good nothing fell short everything was delicious. They had a good selection of music playing. The bartender gave us a tour of the restaurant. They have a outside patio where you can have a private event. The main dining area is intimate. I think I found my new happy hour spot. Yeah, NO! So many things were wrong during my visit to this restaurant. First, the good stuff. We arrived right on time for our reservation and we were seated immediately... The host informs us that there is a $5 entertainment fee for the live band...no biggie. Then while reviewing the menu we see 20% gratuity added to every tab. I thought 18% was pushing it when the STANDARD IS 15% like why are establishments raising prices, overpricing meals AND automatically billing 20% more. You can call it gratuity, but essentially you are subsidizing wages and passing that directly to the customer. Now, you call it gratuity which has always been based on the level of service received. You want to be upscale, then the help should be upscale, right? We asked our waitress about a seafood dish and she said "I don't know anything about it cause I don't eat seafood " we move on from there and order. I got the French toast which was tasty but 2 slices of bread with strawberry "compote" $16+20% =$19.25. Thank goodness it was sweet enough to eat without syrup because our waitress never brought any to the table. My friend had the salmon croquettes. She mentioned none of her food was seasoned and had to ask for salt and pepper. We order 2 non menu drinks a piece (crown apple and cranberry). I asked the waitress about a drink they have posted on social media and she says "I have no idea what that is, I haven't seen that before, besides I don't drink so I wouldn't know anything about it". When a patron has questions about a menu item it's ok if you don't know, but please go find out. THIS IS YOUR JOB! Because I have been tasked to contribute directly to your salary, you essentially work for me. You should at the very least get answers my questions. The trend I see a lot of in Atlanta: minority owned businesses overcharging for food and service without doing anything better than the competition. This is why they are here today, gone tomorrow. Our reservation was at 6:30 pm. It's a cute spot, clean, but the service is SLOW. Our waitress consistently forgot our drink orders. The food was ok. We were waiting for the DJ to arrive for karaoke. He was late. Roughly around 8:15 pm we were told that we'd have to leave our table in 15 minutes due to another party coming in. The area we were sitting in was basically empty. And the section to right of me was available. The whole experience was pretty bad. Social media, specifically Instagram made the restaurant seem fun. It's the exact opposite.
