Language barrier. My friend consistently told them no acrylic on her toes but they continued to put acrylic. They had me choose a color for my toes and still chose the wrong color. It was relaxing up until more customers came in and they all started rushing. I had 3 different people working on my toes, hence the color change. It was very quiet, no spa music. I only come for Lee. She is a perfectionist and will have your hands looking top notch. She is very popular amongst the ladies due to her skill, so she is always very busy but she will always find the time to accommodate you. She can be rough, so if gentle is what you're looking for you might want to use another tech at this location. They all seem great from the work I have seen, and are all super friendly. They have become like my family overtime. Sky Top in general can improve on their wait times, especially when appointments have been made. Weekends are busy, regardless of if you have an appointment or not so you will more than likely be forced to wait. I recommend booking during the weekday and mornings if you're pressed for time. This is by far the worse place to get your nails done . The employees are disrespectful and unprofessional. I got my nails done on Wednesday and by Friday they were chipping and breaking due to them putting very little to no acrylic . After paying 80$ for services . I decided to go back and they told me they were busy to come back another day . The owner whose name is Lee told me if I want my nails to last I should lay in bed and don't work or Touch nothing so the nails can last . After requesting same day service to Repair the nails I was still charged $30 due to them not willing to fix there bad work for FREE ... overall if I could give this place zero stars that's what they would have got read more

My experience here was actually horrific so I urge you to read!! I have been getting my nails done for 7 years, 5 of those I've gotten very long nails.. I went here because I found what seemed to be a great nail tech on Instagram, but little did I know what was coming. I set up my appointment and went. I'd say I'm a client you want under your belt considering I pay big money for a set of nails. While she was doing them they felt like they were burning and she was extremely rough leaving two of my nails bleeding. Despite that, I left that salon with beautiful looking nails paying $143 before the 10$ tip but I do not mind spending the money if the quality is there. Now about 5 days into having these nails on, my pinky nail starting hurting, swelling, throbbing, and was very hot to the touch also turning purple. I went back to her to have that one nail removed and the entire time I was there she had a nasty attitude trying to convince me this was from me bumping my nail but I knew I hadn't, talking to me like I was dumb In front of a full nail salon making me out to seem like a liar.. As she removed the fake nail i then realize my real nail was crack all the way down half way leaving me with almost no nail.. I left peacefully that day furious. 2 more days pass and then 3 more nails started getting all the same symptoms as my pinky nail did. I decided it would probably be best if I went to the walk-in at this point and that's when I found out I had 4 infected nails and if I didn't get the rest removed all of my fingernails would be infected. I am now going to completely lose 4 of my real finger nails due to a infection I got from this salon. I contacted my female nail artist to inform her how many infected nails i now had and told her she needed to remove these to which she responded very rudely saying you can go to my brother and get them taken off do not come here. So she sent me to another salon where I went in and asked for who she said was her brother and he told me word for word "I don't know her, I hate her , she's a bitch." And he walk away and so i left like okay now she sent me to a random guy who she has problems with to be petty. I went back to her salon to ask for a refund and for her to take them off and she started screaming at me and could not contain herself, running back and forth across her salon screaming at me so I decided I did not even want her touching my nails to take them off and left her psycho self alone with no refund and my infected nails. I then took to social media with everything I'm going through to save people from going here and she started responding to my posts via direct message attacking me and calling me a liar. She said I lied about what I paid for my nails but I have the bank statement.. she said it's my fault every one of my finger nails is damaged and in pain, again I also lost 4 of my real nails! Never in all 7 years of me getting my nails done has this happened.. i was also informed by another nail tech is seems as though they used an illegal substance called mma on my nails.
