I went for a spa pedicure and basic manicure. The salon was very clean and the instruments were in a sealed sanitized package. They also used disposable flip flops on my feet. The massage chairs are the standard massage chairs that most salons have and the massage chair worked very well. I had Koko as my nail technician and for the spa pedicure I choose the Mango pedicure. The pedicure began with a mango Sea Salt Soak, and then a mango Sugar Scrub, followed by a mango thermal Mud Masque and at least a 10 minute Massage with mango Cream and hot stones on each foot/leg. After the pedicure I had a basic manicure, and she used a clear coat of polish. While I waited under the dryer she gave me a shoulder massage. read more

I had a great visit at Sun Nails! I called ahead and they fit me in the day of for a pedicure and manicure. Originally I had planned to get a regular mani, but my nail technician suggested the gel mani since the event I was getting my nails done for was still a few days out. I appreciated the tip, since I don't often get my nails done. My nail technician was also friendly and very patient when I took my time deciding on a color (so many choices!) I've gone here about 5 or 6 times for both pedicures and manicures (gel and regular). The prices are a little more than some places, but the staff is so friendly and the quality is great. I recommend calling ahead for an appointment even the same day. Spa pedicure is worth the extra to me for more time in the massage chair and nice leg massage, so I recommend it. I have never felt like they have rushed through my service even on busy days and they always seem to be hygienic conscious. Their choice of Netflix shows to play is interesting, one time watching The Blacklist, which I love but a little gory and depressing haha. But other times a nature show and Disney movie. I decided to get gel manicures done again after not having my nails done in a very long time each time I've come in with exactly what I wanted and sun Nails has come through each time. Especially last night when I showed up 30 minutes before closing and they took me stayed way past closing and finished my French manicure. Everyone is very friendly they do a great job and their hours are the best around given they are also open on Sundays. Was my favorite place before they ruined my eyebrows. Only Ella is capable of doing eyebrows decently. Went to get a pedicure done and all 3 nail techs were basically arguing over who didn't have to do my toes. Right in front of me! They do a great job of not making you feel welcome and we're no help in trying to reshape my eyebrows when I had to come back in because they were so horrid. Stumbled onto this place through yelp and I really like this place. They are very clean (plastic "sheets" in the tubs, new callous remover & nail file and implements appear to be sterilized). Their regular pedicure is $28 and includes hot stone massage & your heels dipped in paraffin wax. The people there were very friendly and kind, not only did they help me decide on a color but they also seemed patient with people. Anyway back to the manicure. The hot wax they did (I recommend gel it lasts longer and you get the hot wax), I think it made my skin even softer than it was before I went in there. Girl who attempted to do my nails doesn't understand English. She really messed up my nails that I had to leave without getting nails done. They do not value customers. They are rude, and very unprofessional. Andy was very unprofessional. I had specifically asked to just remove the gel paint and put a new paint on with any nail filing. The tech who couldn't converse in English started filing my nails without my permission and made the nail super thin and coffin shape when rest of my nails are square abs rounded. This salon is my go-to! It is clean, neat and fast. They also include extra luxuries into their packages. They always do very neat work, and my gel manicures last the full three weeks! For example, a gel mani/reg pedi combo is $55- you get hot stones and paraffin on your hands and feet. They even turn on a timer for the 15 minute massage included in your pedicure so that the customers know that they are getting the full deal. What REALLY sold me on this place was that they even have plastic liners on the pedicure chairs that they change between customers. Germophobes rejoice! They also have a membership program where you get credited a small percentage of your total, so if you go there a few times you can earn free services. NEVER again! I can't believe this place has so many good reviews. I went here to get a manicure and waited 45 minutes, for a terrible manicure. The guy put so much nail polish on that my nails still weren't dry an hour and a half after the manicure was complete. The polish was smearing and coming off in strips and chunks. After spending $12.76 on my nails, I had to get nail polish remover and take it all off - unbelievable! I only went here because I needed the manicure for an important event the next morning and I was in the area, so as you could imagine, I was not happy. Also, he didn't even clean under my nails, which is normal at most places I've gone too. I'll stick with my normal place from now on. read more

I stopped in Sun Nails after reading the great reviews. I got a gel manicure and standard spa pedicure. The service was great, the massages that were included with each service were perfect. My nails looked just how I wanted upon completion. Unfortunately after just five and half days of wear, the gel polish started chipping off! I've never had that happen with my gel polish from other salons. The polish typically lasts the full two weeks as advertised. If my nails didn't grow so fast I could probably keep my gel polish on without chipping for a month from another salon. So 1.75 stars knocked off because my polish started chipping before the week was out. 0.25 stars deducted because I didn't love their color selection. read more
