The Service requested was a acrylic stiletto set. The quality of service was horrible she cut 3 of my daughters fingers by cutting the cuticle to low that she was bleeding from them all. She stopped in the middle of my nail application numerous times to go do eyebrows which I thought was very unprofessional. After she was finished and I got home I noticed that some of the nails are longer and some of them are thicker on different fingers another disappointment. The vibe was very uncomfortable and at the end she asked if I was paying cash or card I said cash she proceeded to point to my purse and said give me!! I didn't know if I was supposed to pay her if she was robbing me!! Lol but was rude,! I was so uncomfortable I asked can I get it and she said yes. I will go to another nail salon in the future I suggest you all do the same!! I should have listened to the reviews!! I was a longtime customer seems that staff Rose cannot keep her word! The manager and staff have no greeting upon arrival to spend your money. When you make appointment that your time with the technician or if you get cancelled it need to be told to your client not once did this happen but twice. I think that when you see your staff working with black eyes and bruising with customers is very unprofessional. The pedicure staff is very pleasant and professional, but that Rose has no class bad for business she may be fast and quick but professionalism she lacks! read more

I have been going here to get my eyebrows done since I was around 9 years old. (I turn 19 next week). When I come in I usually say "please keep them thick but shape them up." I went today to get my eyebrows done again, I got Anne today, who when I was first coming here she was typically the one to do them, so I figured she recognized me after almost 10 years, I wouldn't have to tell her to keep them thick. I was completely shocked when I looked at them closer (when they were done in the salon she quickly showed them to me but I didn't look too closely because they're usually perfect) but getting back in my boyfriends truck I noticed a pretty large chunk at the ends of my eyebrows gone, and she plucked a lot of my hairs out to make them thinner. I am so upset, this has NEVER happened to me before, I have photos to show what they look like when they're grown out, what they look like when I normally get them done, and what they look like now. I will not be letting Anne do them any longer. I recommend Rose, who has been doing them lately. I'm sure Anne does lovely nails, but I don't recommend her anymore for eyebrows. Well, I went there and I was not attended to at the desk. It was very chaotic to say the least. Once I was attended to, I was getting a refill, the worker proceeded to RIP off my nail that needed to be fix. She then plucked at my natural nails with clippers and made me bleed. She then put glue in my wound and drilled the rest of my nail. I explained to her multiple times it hurt and she continued. My nails are now uneven and I can see blood through them. They cut my toe! Absolutely HORRENDOUS experience! When I pointed out that I was bleeding to the man who did my pedicure, a woman came over, took a tiny bottle out of a drawer and put some substance on my toe that stung! I said "what did you just put on me??" She stated "it stops the bleeding". I then said I wasn't going to pay for the pedicure because I was bleeding and the man bent down in front of me with a bottle of nail polish remover and cotton balls. He started reaching for my toes and I asked "what are you doing to me??" He stated "no pay, no polish" while attempting to remove my toe nail polish! I kept backing up and he continued to attempt to remove my nail polish. I told him to stop touching me and insisted he leave me alone. I was HORRIFIED! As you can see from the picture, not only did they cut my toe, but the rest of my toe is very red there is dry skin all over my cuticles. I took this picture as soon as I got home from the pedicure (if you can call it that) - my feet should NOT look like that after a pedicure. It was an horrible experience. I haven't been to a nail salon in quite some time, but I am going on a trip this weekend & decided last minute to get a manicure. I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon (5pm) and there was one other customer getting a pedicure. I asked for a gel manicure and was immediately attended to. The woman showed me where the choices were for gel polish and after I picked which ones I wanted she started right away. The process was fast, I spent a total of 45 min in the salon from the second I stepped inside to the time I walked out. I was happy that I didn't have to wait and that I wasn't there long, although I am aware that a Tuesday afternoon is not the busiest time for a nail salon. The woman who attended to me was nice and good at her job, both pluses in my book. There were 2 very minor issues that combined are the reasons I gave a 4 out of 5 stars. The first was the ambiance. The place did not seem like the cleanest of places; not so much that it was gross or dirty, just like it could have used a coat of paint and maybe some deep scrubbing. Something like that would have made the place more presentable, but I could just be a stickler for those sorts of things. The second thing was the finish on my nails. The very, absolute tip of my nails was not polished. Barely noticeable unless you are staring at my nails as I point out the spots. But it was enough for me to keep it in the back of my mind. It is a gel manicure & I have never had one before (I used to get acrylic nails years ago) so maybe they just end up that way. But nothing so serious that I wouldn't go back. I will just pay closer attention next time and see if it can be don differently. I paid $20 for the gel manicure, don't know if that is expensive but I didn't mind paying it. This place is not worth the money you spend on your nails, they have no organization when it comes to making reservations, they don't have enough people to work with how many people come in, they display intricate designs they are unable to provide for you, and the wait time is extremely long for low-quality nail work, and they're shaping and filing of the nails is extremely uneven and definitely not worth the money you'll spend there read more

Absolutely terrible! If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not, I repeat do NOT waste your time and money here. Decided to get lashes done and I asked how long the wait was going to be, and they said 15 minutes...I was waiting for over an hour. Then when I got the lashes done the lady put them on SO bad that the glue and eyelash itself was caught in my eye and I had to go to another place to get them taken off which took over an hour. I went back to ask about getting my money back and the lady was so rude and brought up how she had customers for 2 years (which had nothing to do with the fact that she basically destroyed my real lashes). She then acted like she didn't hear me talking to her and was ignoring me. Simply unprofessional for a business to be run like that. This is not to mention that she cut off some of my real lashes when I told her the lash extension was still painful and I could not even open my eyes. Save yourself the trouble, there's far too many nail salons around that do much better jobs than to come here. This nail salon, like others in the area, is not concerned with cleanliness and sanitation. They reused all the same tools that they used on the previous person without cleaning them (except the obvious like cotton balls and paper towels). this was by far THE WORSE place i have EVER got my nails done. The workers were RUDE.My nails looked like garbage and i had a dentist appointment downstairs. I paid and left went to my dentist and was so dissatisfied that I went back afterwarrds. They fixed my nails, but charged me FULL price for a second time. It cost me $70 for a FILL, not even a full set. THEY DO THE BEST EYEBROWS!! Their manicures are also excellent as well as their pedicures. They are a little expensive for their pink and white powder (which I love to get elsewhere) so I've never tried it, but I'm sure it's worth it. I live in Los Angeles now but whenever I come back to Meriden to visit for the Holidays I always come here and get my eyebrows and a mani-pedi. They are very friendly and never push you to get things you don't want. Sometimes the wait can be long or it can be very short, but you won't be waiting there all day. They have a TV to watch and some magazines you can read when you get your pedicure. They have a waiting area with a couch for if you bring a friend or like me, your dad. They have very nice massage pedicure chairs. All in all a great place to go. Prices may have gone up since my last visit but last time I was there, eyebrows were only $7. That's a bargain. read more
