No attendant on duty, which is no problem, but when my quarters keep getting stuck it's super frustrating. The place is clean except a few washers smelling like mildew. I think the part that made me dislike this place is that I have 6 loads to wash- two of which are the biggest sized ones they have- and to put in $60 worth of change is very tedious and frustrating. A lot of laundry places have moved to a card system. I understand this area probably has a lot of older people who like to use change, an old school vibe. However, if you could make it so that the coins and cash and debit could all be loaded onto a reusable laundry card, that would be AMAZING. I spent more time putting the change in than the entire washer cycles, especially because the quarters kept getting stuck. Would only return if I was in desperate need and in the area read more

Clean, with lots of instructions. Got change, soap and began washing immediately. Wash was fresh smelling and fit comfortably in the dryer. Metal basket made it easy moving load to dryer. Got everything done without a problem. Highly recommend. read more

Let's face it. No matter how efficiently we've streamlined the process, we're not robots, so household chores can still feel a little tedious at times. The work is kinda thankless, there are no overtime pay provisions in place, and an unfair majority of whatever free time we do have is usually already earmarked for this or that project around the home front It get frustrating Sometimes I feel like throwing in the towel but that would only mean more laundry for me." Whoever said death and taxes were the only guarantees in life obviously never had to do laundry Laundry is the real "Neverending Story." and I sure wish my bank account refilled as fast as my laundry basket. Sadly not only does that not happen, but the laundromat drains my account some more. This place is reasonably priced which helps. They also still use quarters instead of those cards that other laundromats use that almost guarantee that you have money left over on your account , but not enough for another load. Add to that that this place is also clean and even has a tiny play area to keep bored children occupied and it's a nice little place to do laundry. It is a little smaller, so you may need to wait for the bigger machines. And then I heard my sock say, 'let's play hide and seek.'" but that's a story for another timec Overall a decent place, that's why I keep coming back read more

Doors open automatically when entering, good management, clean well maintained machines, bill changers to quarters, ATM. You can purchase laundry soap and plastic laundry sacks for a reasonable rate. Prices are competitive. Children's area, snack dispenser (expensive, but aren't they all?), good management onsite during regular business hours. They open early and close (in my opinion) late. Open daily. read more

I do not know what has happened to this facility. I used to recommend it highly, but the last few times have been terrible. It was extremely dirty, smelled and a lot of the machines were out of service. I doubt if I will use this facility again. It sucks that I have to drive all the way to Monroe just to do my laundry. Sad!!! read more

Clean, well kept, small little laundry mat without the typical white floor to ceiling vibe. Never had an issue with machines or having one available. ONLY issue... work on your wrist exercises because $30 worth of laundry is a whole lot of quarters! read more

It was clean and they had a huge washer and dryer to fit my king sized blankets. I forgot my detergent and dryer sheets so I had to buy one from the machine and it did take my money the first time I used it but worked the rest of the time. read more

So clean and in such a great area. They have everything you need to get your laundry done. I went to them, because I was staying at an Airbnb nearby, and I pleasantly surprised with how nice everything was here! Would definitely recommend and go again. read more

Tolt Laundry - One of the express washers - Laundromat Near Me - Carnation, Washington

This place helped me out in the biggest way! My laundry is temporarily down at my home so I hauled my families clothes and towels here (8 or 9 loads) and got everything done in about 2 hours...everything washed & dried. I folded everything on the nice counter space. The facility was clean, well organized, several laundry carts on wheels to transport wet clothes to dryers and so efficient. Bring quarters for the machines or cash to make change. I brought my own detergent but you can always buy there too. I thought the prices were decent for the amount I had cleaned. I'll be back! read more

Being full-time RVers we are now doing out laundry at a laundry mat. We've been coming here the past month and a half and the owners are very kind and friendly. The facility is always clean and the washers and dryers work well. We highly recommend this place read more

I drive from Issaquah- about 30 minutes to use this clean, safe, laundromat. I have used laundries all over the country and this is by far the best. Refreshing it's on my back yard! Oh ya, almost forgot- they have a HUGE washer perfect for comforters. Great wash in 30 min. read more

Clean, bright laundry facilities with newer stainless machines. I was able to wash a queen size down comforter and a queen size down alternative comforter in a single large machine for just under $6. I forgot to bring my free & clear detergent at home so was pleased they offered that as a vending item for just $1. Washing took about 35 minutes and there is a park just down the street so I took my dogs for a short walk. Drying took a little longer because I should have put each comforter into its own dryer the first time around and one comforter became entangled in the other. Once separated they both dried quickly. The only downside is the lack of parking; I would estimate less than 10 spaces. Maybe not an issue at times but at the end of a holiday weekend there were quite a few patrons and a shortage of parking spaces. Despite the quantity of patrons there were no issues finding available washers or dryers Will definitely be returning! read more

If you have to use a laundromat and you live on the East Side (I drive from Sammamish to come here), this is the place to go. Extremely clean, plenty of machines (including very high capacity washers), wi-fi, TVs, etc. the staff has always been very nice. Highly recommended. read more

Impressive stainless steel machines, granite countertops and just a very clean laundromat! The nicest laundromat I have ever been in. A little kids nook with toys and a tv make it easier to bring little ones while you do laundry. I can't remember what the award is but this a green facility recognized nationally! read more

In the land of laundromats this place is king! Kids area, free Wi-Fi, new machines, lots of TVs and of the beaten path, so less traffic. We found this place on Google, decided to try it out and it is superb!! The whole place feels like a 50s laundry, with nice clean machines, and diamond plating hiding the behind the screens stuff. Very clean! All machines are in working order. There is plenty of signage to show you how to get the best results for your money. The clientele is friendly, the owners are great!! I will be back!! read more

Definitely 5 star! Wish I could give it a 6! On our 10 month of traveling the country...this is by far the best laundry we've been to. Every part!! Washers/dryers are clean, in great condition. Prices are average. The building is VERY clean. Vending machines for munchies, drinks and laundry supplies. The attached store sells supplies as well. The little things that would push this to a 6 star if I could...automatic doors(no fumbling with laundry and the door), ATM and a change machine! Parking is very plentiful and convenient. read more

I drove from Sammamish to come here because the reviews of closet coin laundry locations were terrible. So glad I did! I needed to wash my down comforter and didn't trust old machines. This facility is the nicest laundromat I've ever been to. New machines, granite counter tops, multiple TVs, free wifi, vending machines, ATM and change machine, and clean bathrooms. It's a 50's retro automotive vibe and is super clean. I used a 4 load machine and it was $6.75 for a hot/warm wash ($6.25 cold). Two load is $3.50 hot wash ($3.25 cold). I came on a Thursday afternoon and the parking lot is full, so this is the only problem I could foresee. read more

Tolt Laundry - The kids' area in Tolt Laundry. Has a TV with cartoons and books. - Laundromat Near Me - Carnation, Washington

Very clean, big machines and fast - what more do you want? WiFi? Yes, they have that too. Now go wash your clothes!!

Very clean compared to other laundromats! Prices seemed to be the same as others to me. A triple load wash is $5, .25 for every 5min for dryers. The girl working is really friendly and on top of keeping it clean. My favorite part is that the entrance has automatic doors haha. For a late afternoon on a Monday they were pretty empty inside. The only downside is there's very limited parking spots in the front of the building. They do have a ATM ($2 fee to use) and change machine. read more

My dryer died and I had to take two loads of wet laundry in to Tolt Laundry this week. The place was clean, well appointed, and the dryers easy to operate. I was able to put two loads into one dryer for a reasonable price. Quarters to the rescue! I set up my laptop at a table that had a power source close by, worked via the free wi-fi and my laundry was done 30 mins later. Easy peasy! I'll be back here if my appliances at home ever fail me again. read more

This is the best laundromat I have ever been to. It's clean and organized and there are several sizes of machines to help with which ever amount of laundry you need done. Our dryer is busted and its going to take a week to get it looked out. I was in need of a laundromat to get clothes caught up in the mean time. I really liked this one. I would go back. read more

I drive from Bellevue to get there. No other places are this clean. But I still wipe the machine inside to remove possible pets hairs. I also avoid a machine with smelly detergent. I live in Bellevue and our washing machine broke down last week. Needed to find a clean place to do some laundry. The laundry mats closes to us in Bellevue and Kirkland are just trashy, dirty places. Found this place on Yelp, went this morning. This place is so nice! Like FANCY! Working washers AND working dryers! SAY WHAT?! And a clean bathroom. Our new washer comes in Tuesday but I would come back for bigger items like comforters. I would highly recommend. read more

This facility was clean with a great atmosphere I felt safe the people who were there were friendly the machines were clean and there were plenty to go around the only problem was the ATM machine was not working tried it twice it was a no go so I had to take my comforter home to air dry still I would go here again worth the drive from Issaquah highlands read more

First time laundromat user since our W/D aren't usable as remodeling our house. Arrived Thursday morning and no one was there. Very clean and quiet, I was totally blown away! I was there with my kids for a few hours, felt comfortable and safe waiting. Plenty of washers and dryers, tables to fold clothes, chairs to sit and read, 5 (or more) TV to watch. A quarter got stuck on one washer, a nice gentleman who works there fixed it immediately. He kindly showed me how I should pick machines. Automatic entrance door was nice as my hands were full with baskets full of clothes. Will go back if I ever need wash again! read more

This truly is a super clean laundromat. I travel for a lot and this is the cleanest laundromat I have come across. There's an ATM in the store just in case you don't have coins or cash. 2 vending machines and a little play area for kids. Washers and dryers are very clean and work great. I'm very picky where I wash my clothes. I drove 12 miles to Tolt Laundry, the drive was worth it. read more

Wow. We were moving into our house and neither the washer nor dryer were working. I looked on yelp and learned there are very few laundromats on the Eastside. This was well worth the drive: open late, very clean, plenty of thoughtful touches like an automatic front door. The owner was on site and was super friendly and helpful. She helped me out of a jam when I needed quarters for the machine and I brought my expired debit card, and left the active card at home. She even offered to take my boxes when we're done unpacking. I have used a few laundromats in the Eastside but will never go anywhere again after visiting this one. It's clean, the machines are new and nice, the play area with the kids is awesome, and it's not super hot like other laundromats, even on a sunny Seattle day when I was running the AC in my car. The automatic doors are a huge bonus when you are walking in carrying loads of laundry. read more

Clean and mostly convenient. But Damn EXPENSIVE $$$ $5.00 per load! WTF? They claim to have Washing Machines that hold 3 Times the loads as a home washing machine. Yeah, FIVE F'n BUCKs for an alleged 30lbs of clothes. My Mom's LG, which is the typical size a domestic home machine in America, has a capacity of a mere 18lbs but the internal drum is easily 2 and 1/2 larger in capacity than the commercial wash machines. See pictures already on yelp. I spent $22.00 using four washing machines and 2 dryers at the Tolt Laundry in Carnation Washington. They claim that their commercial Wash Machines hold "3+ loads from home". A sign posted on the machines. Yet somehow I don't know how I managed to wash 12 loads of dirty clothes. Budget Hint. Motel 6 has Washing machines for $2.00 bucks per load using a commercial machines is nearly identical in capacity to the standard Domestic (Home) washing machine. The Dryers (at Motel 6) cost a FLAT $2.oo bucks and run for a Fixed HOUR. Yup no options on time settings. Still 8 Bucks as compared to $22.oo at the Tolt Laundry. Con, No FREE WIFI for non Motel 6 guests. read more

It may sound crazy, but this laundomat is amazing. What vision for the owner to create this 'destination'! Very, very nice facility. Very clean. Well lit. Video surveillance. An ATM in case you need money.
