I was an employee of Jayson booth, he's a fine person, awful boss, I went to the interview to which…read morehe himself was late too, I text him making sure all is right he notifys me back saying his son will do the interview, no problem goes well I get the job sign the form, take home a copy of the employment agreement and how the pay works, first week, class cancelled Monday, tuesday he's there go over basics normal day, wednesday have to go somewhere to get solicitor licence, a bit bothersome nothing out of the ordinary, Thursday he takes a half day his son takes over. I had jury duty Friday which I notified him about multiple times, I miss the Friday class, but I'm up with the learning and curriculum he expects, second week, I'm not feeling well in the morning let him know I'm puking, text from Jayson, I'm being let go for missing work, this is before it's time to go into work, so I try to work it out and see if there's anything I could do, explain it was jury duty but he said decisions made, it is what it is, next day I ask him about the pay, he tries telling me he does not have to pay me, I explain that under Massachusetts law chapter 149 section 148, that final wages should have been paid on the day of termination, a measly $250 he's refusing by the way , (it's a lot to me but this guy would brag about going to hawaii every year and all his stuff and how well he's doing) he said it was in the employee agreement I signed, I took a picture after reading the whole thing, not anywhere in it does it say that. So Im thinking oh he probably means the pay sheet, NO the only thing stating the first two weeks of training is "250 garentee after first week" I've written multiple complaints to departments in mass gov. I do want to make sure you see this Jayson. switch Your contract if you're going to scam other people too!
