Dominic and his crew were very professional and polite, and would check with us whenever something needed to be noted or a decision needed to be made. I am a slightly difficult customer because I had some ideas about exactly HOW I wanted things to be installed with gaps to allow water vapor to escape from my basement floor. Dominic listened, offered ideas of his own, we tried a couple of things and came up with a solution that works. They are detail oriented and make sure that the structural details that are not even visible (but make a difference in the long haul), are done correctly. They don't take any shortcuts. Even though I only speak one language, they speak MANY LANGUAGES, which may be handy for you. Most importantly, THEY ARE HONEST. You have nothing to fear about leaving tools or any valuables around. They do not swear, which is important if children are around, and they are always VERY respectful. When they are finished, your project will be done and everything will be cleaned up, and you will leave a 5-Star review too. They demolished their half of the bathroom, including multiple layers of floor in that 1 day. They came back as soon as they could after the shower company was finished. They worked with 3 subcontractors, a sheetrock-painter, tiler and plumber, to complete the project. The quality of work is great. They were very cooperative with my many demands (a girl has to have it the way she wants it). They were very respectful and accepted the fact that I knew a little bit about what I wanted (having a male contractor accept that a woman (me) knows something is rare). He was always checking to make sure I liked what was done.

AWESOME Experience - Our 17-year-old hair salon has been plagued by dryer vent issues for years…read more We have had multiple "Duct Cleaning" companies in to fix the problem and they have either temporarily improved the situation or made it even worse. Thank God for Duct Kings and Edwin. Unlike every other company we hired, Edwin took the time to assess the system and diagnose the real problem. It wasn't that the dryer duct wasn't clean, it was that the dryer duct couldn't be cleaned because of the way it was constructed. Unfortunately, the construction company that installed the original ducting used flex hose over a 25' run to connect the dryer to the roof vent. The rough surface of the flex hose interior plus the many peaks and troughs over the 25' run made the duct virtually impossible to clean. So, over the years it became completely plugged. Fortunately, Edwin recognized the problem and replaced the flex hose with rigid smooth bore tubing. I'm happy to say that the system is now operating at peak efficiency. What makes Duct Kings different from everyone else is they understand how ducts should be constructed, and they have the knowledge and skills to fix the problems, not paper over them. AND they were no more expensive than competitors with far fewer skills and capabilities who deliver lesser results. I cannot recommend Edwin or Duct Kings more highly.
