Tried a 2nd time today! Saturday at 3, so not too busy. Service was good but Waitress was not overly friendly. I had Fajita Enchiladas, good but dry. Side of potatos and Ranchero beans were good. The star was order of cooked peppers n onions! So good. Salsa is not great so was looking for something with a kick. Alittle better than our 1st visit, so since so close to us, will keep coming till I find the perfect menu item. Our sister really likes this restaurant. So, we met our oldest brother his wife and mine for a good Mexican meal. When we got there it was packed full cause it was the night before Valentine's day, and a Friday night and we had a party of five. We hand about a five minutes of waiting. The restaurant is cozy, neat in appearance and well organized. Staff were not only busy but they were all friendly and very welcoming. We were seated and chips, salsa and queso were brought to our table as well as our drinks. The waiter took our order and my brother brand his wife had the guisada, with side order of beans and rice, my sister had the chicken flautas, side order of beans and rice,with extra corn tortillas, I had the beef enchilada, creme Mexican corn and rice, and my wife had the shrimp tacos with side order of beans and rice. My brother had the fried ice cream for dessert. The food was very delicious the only complaint I have is that they serve all their salsas with cilantro they should make some without cilantro give customers a choice. Not everyone likes cilantro. When visiting our sister more than likely we may run into you at the restaurant, so stop on by. read more

My first time coming here while visiting my son and daughter-in-law. I've got to say this is way better Mexican food than we have in Las Vegas. We have fancy restaurants , taco trucks , and some Mom and Pop places , but this beats them all. Our server Carlos was very informative and gave great service. I had the Lunch Chicken Chimichanga with shredded chicken and sour cream and beans and rice. The shredded chicken was moist and very flavorful , sooo good. The beans had lots of flavor but a touch too much salt. The rice was good also. My son got the Lunch Chicken Fajita plate also with beans and rice. My daughter-in-law had the Fried Shrimp Tacos. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. We also got chips and a ton of salsas and quesos for them and some warm flour tortillas. The flour tortillas were fluffy and really good. Out of the sauces I liked the white queso and the hot salsa the best. My son also ordered the habanero sauce for 99 cents. He really liked it. I also had sweet tea and it was perfect for me , sweet but not overly sweet. All in all I definitely recommend you coming here. read more

We eat here weekly (sometimes more than once per week). It's our go to for Mexican food in the metro. Will is a great server. We ask for him every time we are there! Always consistent food and service! One of the standout features of Toledo's is their complimentary white queso (just ask them and they bring it out along with their normal queso), a must-try for anyone visiting. It's creamy, flavorful, and a perfect way to start your meal. As for the menu, my personal favorite is the Guiso Especial topped with over-easy eggs. The combination of flavors and textures is simply delightful, and I highly recommend it. However, everything I've sampled here has been fantastic! If you're in the area and craving Mexican food, Toledo's Mexican Grill is definitely worth a visit. You won't be disappointed! read more

First time trying this place and it's decent Tex-mex food. Not my favorite but better than Los Vaqueros, San Marcos, or Ted's for sure. The refried black beans are better than the pinto beans. Service was really quick! We were only here for about 30 mins. Waitress was nice and attentive as well as other staff members. Restaurant appeared to be clean. Decided to try them out. We were seated right away. The size from the outside was deceiving as it was much bigger on the inside. Several arson rooms and what appeared to be a full bar. Our drink orders taken. The set up was brought out. I asked for some hot salsa and she brought tht. Not really spicy hot IMO. Orders were taken and it was out in less than 10 minutes. I ordered the shredded chicken relleno and my wife had the 2 tamale dinner. The relleno was good but it's not coated and fried but it was still good. Smoking hot temp wise. My wife tamales were very good. Plenty of meat and sauce. My server asked about the salsa and I told him it wasn't really hot so he brought me some habanero salsa and it was much better. The carne Asada was juicy tasty and tender. The shredded beef with cheese, chile Relleno was absolutely delicious. Salsa was good. Queso was not. It tasted like straight cheez whiz. The spicy salsa was better but weird texture. There are so many better places. The food was below average and expensive. At first, I thought the portions were good but then I realized my steak fajitas were all onions and peppers and only 4 slices and 2 small pieces of poorly flavored, very chewy meat. I guess it goes along with only getting 3 tortillas. By the time we saw the waitress, after asking another server for help, those 4 pieces had been eaten and there was no more need for tortillas. Had to try the newest Mexican restaurant in town! Seating was immediate. Chips and salsa came right away. I also love that they have relish and tortillas. Food was delicious. How fun is this place! Very similar aspects to Ted's. We arrived on a Friday evening and there was a small 15 minute wait. It was nice outside, so we enjoyed the wooden benches out front. It was exactly 15 minutes when they called us to our table. It was freshly cleaned and was already equipped with queso, salsa, and chips. Our waitress was Sylvia, and she was very kind to us. She brought us waters. We tried their Horchata - it was so yummy! She also brought us fresh & warm flour tortillas. We ordered 2 crispy tacos with beans & cream corn, and a chicken quesadilla with fries and rice. Their fries were VERY good, steakhouse quality. The chicken quesadilla did not have all the peppers or spices that my picky eater husband picks off, and he thought it was very good. My taco meat was somewhat bland, but the creamed corn was very flavorful and good. I liked the refried beans as well, just a tad watery. The things we didn't like were the flour tortillas and the sopaipillas. They were both a little undercooked. However I was really impressed with their staff. The moment guests left, the table was cleaned and prepped and vacant for maybe 1 minute and immediately filled with the next guest. Very speedy. We will definitely be back! Stopped in here with a friend for my first time. It's a small place and they had just seated a very large table of people. We sat for quite some time without anyone acknowledging us until I flagged someone down. Staff was busy so I did t think too much of it. We received menus, chips, queso, and salsa, along with waters along with a mix of corn and flour tortillas. I ordered the fajita enchiladas (one steak and one chicken) the waitress suggested the sauces to go on top so I went with her recommendation, rice and breads. My entire plate was so delicious! It was very flavorful and enjoyed it. My friend ordered a churn breast plate. She said it was very good! I think they are moving to a larger place down the street and it's needed! We went in and quickly placed our order. Snacked on chips & salsa while we waited for our food to come. The meals came out-- both delicious taco salad in a crispy edible shell. My husband's fajitas were delicious -- cooked well and great presentation. Our waiter was Jorge and he was fantastic, in fact. He kept checking on us & filling our sodas all evening. We just moved to the state/area and one of my son's elementary school had a fundraiser at this restaurant. We decided to give it a try after having a terrible experience at Ted's. We loved that it was family owned and it wasn't a chain restaurant. We walked in and were immediately greeted. Our waitress was so wonderful (maybe Ana?) and she was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! The cheese sauce and salsa were fresh as well as the chips. Our waitress always brought us warm cheese sauce when ours would get cold or we would run out. We had the steak fajitas with sautéed jalapeños and onions on the side (yes, in addition to the bell peppers and onions). It was DELICIOUS! It was seared perfectly, the meat wasn't chewy, and it had so much flavor. To top it off, they provided free sopapillas with honey. It was the best! My boys were thrilled. Where we are from, we have to pay for EVERYTHING including every store bought tortilla that the restaurant served or the store bought tortilla chips. Here, they made their tortillas fresh and there was an unlimited supply of them! The chips and salsa was delicious as well. It was refreshing to see that this wonderful family owned restaurant wasn't nickel and diming their customers. They truly wanted the customers to be happy, full, and welcomed. Allergy: my one son that has food allergies (peanuts and seafood) did fine eating the fajitas, cheese sauce, chips, salsa, rice and sopapilla. I go to a restaurant to experience their food. Service is a close second and ambiance is nice, but not really that important. Toledo's has the first two down! Delicious food, complimentary chips, salsa and tortillas. The salsa is very good. We split a Chicken Quesadilla and the pico was delicious. Added their red Sangria margarita which was very good. All at really reasonable prices! Well, they are crowded but the good news is they secured a building in Mustang (the former Mustang Mandarin) and it will probably triple their seating. I ate at Toledo's today for the first time since they moved to the old location for Mustang Mandarin. I tried the shrimp enchiladas with queso sauce. The enchiladas were packed with grilled shrimp and the cheese sauce was so flavorful. I also had steamed beans and rice with the meal and they were great. To top it off, we had sopapillas for dessert and that was good too. Altogether, it was an excellent visit. I will definitely be coming back. read more
