Service was good, and fast. Food was hot, when it came out.The meals were good, but the cheese/queso was a little off. Didn't care for the queso.

A bit disappointing... the service was amazing but the food not so much. I got the fajitas but the chicken tasted like it was cooked yesterday and reheated. I think skipping freshness will make everything else go downhill.

Taco salad - no shell With ground beef. My favorite!

Last night the habanero salsa was not the same. Usually it's temperature warm, with green stuff swirled on top and spicy. Nothing spicy this time, sadly. Hubs has mixed fajitas for 1. I had my ground beef taco salad without the shell. Delicious. Service is always great.

Me and my wife decided to stop and in check this place out after a couple locals had suggested it . And it was great ! We came in a little later around 730 and our server was awesome and had a couple suggestions and pointed us to the fajitas and they were huge ! We overheard the table behind us say they wanted hot salsa and we ended up trying both and the original salsa wasn't the greatest honestly but the hot salsa was damn hot and good ! We got chicken/steak fajitas for two and it came with lotssss of onions and fresh peppers as well . The chicken and steak were seasoned well and piled high allowing us to have plenty to eat! All the tortillas tasted fresh and they had two option corn or flour . The chips that come with the salsa are on the thinner side but had plenty of salt and tasted like they were made in house . Quesadilla had plenty of cheese we went with the chicken option and it tasted just as good as the fajitas . We were sat in a booth as well and the inside felt very authentic but man the padding on the seats were pretty thin that's the only thing that I can say bad about this.

First time here for dinner with family. The service was excellent. We got chip, salsa, queso and tortillas upon sitting. Our orders were taken amd food came out very fast even with a Fu restaurant. There were 9 in our party. The prices were very good and the food was excellent. Our cups were always filled and no items were forgotten. Our serves were super nice too. I would definitely come back.

Once inside we jumped ahead of the long line and went to the bar. The bar has 6 to 8 high two-tops and there were several available. This is our normal approach when there's a line, and there's almost always a line. We started with a couple of beers. Jan ordered a Yuengling (bottle) and I ordered a Moose Drool on tap. We normally don't order beer with dinner but thought beer paired better with oysters and fried food. We started with a dozen oysters and they were outstanding. We like to spice them up. Jan takes the horseradish mixes it with the cocktail sauce that we dip the oysters in. She also spritzes the oysters with lemon juice and I dab them with Tabasco sauce. Yum! Jan ordered the fried shrimp dinner. It comes with fries, cole slaw and two hush puppies. They serve 10 very large shrimp. The shrimp was very good. The fries were excellent. I ordered the fishcamp salad with ranch. The salad comes topped with fried onions. The salad was really cold which is how I like my salad. I ordered an appetizer of fried clams. thoroughly enjoyed them. Love the atmosphere, the vibe and the energy that Trappers provides. It was a bit noisy but not to the point of being a distraction. The service was good. The prices moderate.

Trapper's Fish Camp - A Return Worth the Wait (4)…read more Our group of six chose Trapper's Fish Camp for our monthly dinner outing, and I'll admit--it had been well over 20 years since my last visit. After this experience, I can confidently say that was about 20 years too long. I had forgotten just how well the food is prepared here. I opted for the Crab Cake Sliders since I wasn't overly hungry, and they turned out to be the perfect choice. Great flavor, nicely portioned, and satisfying without being too heavy. I paired them with potato salad and coleslaw--both were solid sides that complemented the meal well. My wife went with the Fried Clams & Fries and was very pleased with her selection. Always a good sign when both meals hit the mark. The only downside was the noise level--it can get a bit loud--but with a full house, that's somewhat expected. Overall, a very enjoyable return visit. It won't take me another 20 years to come back.

Date night with the husband meant I was craving a seafood boil…read more Visiting Oklahoma while I have been living in Texas has been a bit difficult for me when I come by. The food scene comparatively means the TX is better OK by a landslide. Why? The immigrants, duh! They put their soul and soles into their cooking and this place was a nice change of pace from what I normally get. But here's the low down. You cannot do two specials at once, why? Because... they're specials. You're not meant to combine them with other things. So get over that. Our server Ryan was awesome and patient with us and explained what we wanted to know so here it is! Ayce special is basically $48 per person. They say one but they also do let you know about their automatic gratuity that is included. The entire table has to do it because dishonest people have taken that mile by ordering one thing and then their friends get the ayce and give their friends more food... so we reap what they sowed. It sucks but get over it. It's 1.5 pounds per round of seafood. So order what you want and do not waste, if you do it's $15 per pound of waste that they charge extra just in case. We took the special blend, medium spice, and had plenty of crab legs, mussels, shrimp head on and off, and sides. Eggs aren't included but they're $2.50 for 2. It comes with 2 potatoes and 1 corn per order but you can order more. We had a great time, though the only thing I could say that the food needs a tad more seasoning. Like a little acid and a little more umami. Maybe more garlic but it was an 8/10 for me. Would we come again and feel sick to our stomach? Yes. Would we bring my family? Also yes.

This was the best meal I've had in OKC in a very long time…read more My wife and I did a little date night. The restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside--just a tiny little white and blue building. Sitting right off 10th, parking is tight as well. Inside isn't fancy, but that's my vibe. There is an outdoor patio I didn't get to check out, but the road noise from 10th is pretty noticeable even inside. Overall the atmosphere feels small town coastal, local, and not pretentious, but does suffer slightly from its location. Service was friendly, and paced as expected for fine dining. Honestly, it's refreshing to not feel rushed at a dinner service. We enjoyed our conversation over a bottle off their (small) wine list instead. We ordered the spring pre fix and it was just ALL hits, no misses. I wrinkled my nose at the menu a bit because I don't particularly love fennel or mint or lamb or hell even salmon but I I have been converted. The food was amazing. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and portioned. The bread...the bread was the best bread starter I've tried. My wife hates oysters and loved the oyster (she tries everything cos she's not a child). The gnocchi was pillowy soft and amazing, not gummy or dense or mushy. The asparagus?! Amaze amaze amaze. 5 perfect courses (6 if you count the 2x different items for the table) for $77 a person?!?! Yes. We're going back asap.

From local food critic Jared Gleaton Eats full critique…read more Atmosphere and Hospitality: The atmosphere at Sedalia's feels less like a polished coastal seafood house and more like the hidden gem tucked behind a bustling boardwalk fishing restaurant--the kind locals quietly point you toward. We were greeted by Silvana, who warmly led us to our table while Becky guided the service throughout the evening. Plates were seamlessly swapped, water glasses never sat empty, and Becky demonstrated an impressive command of the menu and preparations. Throughout the meal, Zack and members of the kitchen team delivered several dishes themselves, describing each course in detail and offering a small but genuine slice of coastal hospitality. Food: Baked oyster, kent blanc, smoked trout roe, chive breadcrumbs ($35 1/2 Dozen) The dinner opens with a borderline transcendent bite of baked oyster, beautifully balanced and cooked to perfection, singing across the palate. A rich beurre blanc pairs seamlessly with the briny oyster while bursts of smoked trout roe punctuate each bite. The breadcrumbs on the back end provide just enough contrast in texture to round out an immaculate first course. Grilled focaccia for the table, salt cod butter, Szechuan oil, lime, chive, pecorino, balsamic ($15) The grilled focaccia is thick, fluffy, and fantastic. Notes of rich, airy bread give way to salty, buttery layers from the cod butter before finishing with subtle hints of char and acidity from the accompaniments. Barramundi tartare, kumquat, masa nachos, serrano & ancho chilies, spinach ($17) An excellent preparation, the tartare rests atop a thick masa nacho. The barramundi is soft yet slightly firm, its delicate flavor profile lifted by bright notes of kumquat and a subtle heat creeping through the back end from the serrano. Beef tongue anticuchos & la huancaína ($20) The tongue is beautifully prepared--tender with just enough structure. The anticuchos seasoning and huancaína sauce add a nutty, earthy depth that bursts across the palate with each bite. Duck confit pecorino crumble, pappardelle, alubia blanca beans, pecorino ($26) An absolutely beautiful layered dish. The rich duck confit is soft and rich with strong initial notes of pecorino giving way to middle notes of duck and end notes of tomato. Though presented in a tomato based pasta the addition of alubia blanca beans creates a creamy texture that surprises the palate, transforming what appears to be a brothy preparation into something far richer and more complex. Crispy fried hake, mojo rojo, aioli, potato ($23) A thoughtful take on fish and chips. The hake is fried perfectly, with an excellent fish-to-batter ratio. The aioli provides a creamy counterpoint while the mojo rojo adds depth and warmth. Grilled tuna collar with beurre blanc sauce (Special) This special was absolutely stunning and one of the finest bites of 2026. The rich, fatty tuna cheek is tempered beautifully by the creamy, tangy beurre blanc and fragrant tarragon. Each element complements the other, creating a layered, indulgent bite that borders on perfection. Potatoes a la huancaína, ají amarillo, sorghum, olive ($14) This course pushes firmly into transcendent territory. The soft layers of potato are draped in an ethereal ají amarillo sauce that delivers gentle heat while coating the palate in luxurious flavor. Each bite teases you into the next. Honey semifreddo, pomegranate molasses, meringue, citrus ($14) A triumphant end to the evening. The honey semifreddo melts effortlessly on the palate, cleansing and refreshing before giving way to the deeper sweetness of pomegranate molasses and delicate notes of meringue and citrus. A beautifully balanced and borderline transcendent finale.
