Honestly, this place was such a bummer. We went to Tokyo Starfish the day before and had a great…read moreexperience, but we decided to pop into Substance to compare. We were in the market for thc-infused lube and saw the perfect product, it was $36 and even had a sticker that said it would be $40 other places in town. We grabbed the lube, asked for a 25 mg limeade, and made our way to the register. We inquired if they had any first time discounts - of course not. It was far from the end of the world, considering they marketed themselves as affordable. We left the store and right as we entered our car learned that we had been given the lemonade instead, no biggie but not ideal. Then we made our way back to Tokyo Starfish. The vibes were immaculate compared to Substance. Here, we bought flower because we could actually see and smell the product, and then we stumbled across the exact same thc lube, for $24. What an absolute tragedy. Overall, the false advertisement, bad customer service, and unappealing display of products will prevent us from returning again. Tokyo Starfish has our business.

Inside, they are very professional with scanning the photo ID to make sure everyone inside is legal to be there. I liked that the bud tenders were very friendly and professional while answering questions to educate me on the different products. Their prices are much higher in the downtown area, which I assume is because they are in a high tourist area. The Old Mill District had some lower prices. Their selection was good with enough variety to meet individual needs. They also offer daily deals to help save a few dollars.

Shame cause I like this small dispensary and the worker, but I literally could not smoke what I purchased. I have to reroll 9 joints to be able hit any of them, the exact opposite thing you want to be doing when buying (mostly) convenient prerolls. AVOID JENNY'S until they stop distributing SMITH ROCK, because it's dishonest to customers to sell such shit products that are unable to even be smoked. Props to my favorite bud tender Daniel! Coming in to DiamondTree and seeing Daniel is like seeing your good friend who is also a pro at his job. He is very knowledgeable on product, has handled exchanges for faulty cartridges smoothly, and always makes me feel incredibly comfortable in the dispensary. I actually left the last dispensary I was a regular at due to feeling very uncomfortable and PTSD triggered when they changed owners. (I have a medical card due to chronic pain and PTSD.) I highly recommend DiamondTree West for the great service, best deals in town (especially on multi pack joints), loyalty points program, and fantastic location. Try them out yourself!
