Spicy Miso Ramen w/ Pork
Jeremiah H.

I moved to Greencastle a little over a year ago from Indy area and miss so many good food options, but Tokyo is one spot that makes that a little bit better! The food and service is always amazing. This ramen was so good and the pork was flavorful and tender! If you are thinking about going spicy go for it! It's just the right amount of heat without being insane. When I first drove past this place I passed it up since it's in an old Long John Silvers, but man am I glad I gave it another chance as the food is so authentic and super delicious. My other go to favs are there General Tso Shrimp and there sushi.

This is the old long John silvers building. I wasn't really expecting much but wow, the food was amazing! The portions are huge and the prices are fair. Greencastle it lucky to have this place. I'll come here a lot. Highly recommended! I'll also post some pics.

I will NO longer be driving to Avon or Plainfield to eat Japanese and sushi! This place is amazing. The sushi was so good and FRESH! The chicken teriyaki and rice was sooo good and flavorful and wasn't dried out! I will def keep coming back here

Little pricy but always delicious. Really enjoy the atmosphere, even if it's an old repurposed Long John Silvers. Good service.

Don't go. They do t have a clue what they are doing. Ask for sushi and every time I get sashimi and that is nasty what a waste.

Great food, funky vibe, lovely staff. The sushi is exemplary, the Hibachi a bit of a monochrome flavor, but still tasty.

Located in an old Long John Silvers, we were a little wary of rural sushi - but we had poke bowls.

Made an out of the way stop to try this place for coffee and a snack on our way home from Cataract…read moreFalls. It wasn't clear what their hours were: the website said they were open until 4pm, while the hours posted Google and on the door said 2pm, and here on Yelp it says 3pm. They also had a paper sign taped to the door saying they would close that day at 1pm. Fortunately we made it there a half hour before closing, but it would probably be a good idea for them to sort that out across the various platforms. I ordered a latte with praline syrup which was nice (the cups and lids were kind of the best I've seen at a coffee shop, which is random, but worth mentioning) as well as a bagel and a donut. The donut was a chocolate long john and I asked the person taking my order if they were filled or unfilled. They said unfilled, which is what I wanted, but when I got back to my car, it was filled. My husband went in to place his own order, so he purchased another normal chocolate frosted donut and it was fine, but I would have been bummed if I had been on my own and gotten the wrong thing. My bagel was good and my husband enjoyed the coffee and pastry he ordered, plus my reject donut. ;) Looks like it'd be a nice place to stay and enjoy a meal or do some work, as there was a whole separate sitting area upstairs.

Anyway, walked into the cutest shop with wonderful employees ready to serve. Ordered a wonderful tasting espresso to go and a couple of donuts for the road back home. Tried the sprinkle birthday cake donut and a regular yeast donut. There were many options for bread choices and saw a large open space upstairs as well as a good amount of seating downstairs. Appears you can watch the bakery working while sitting as well, which is a nice add to any cafe/coffeeshop. PROS: Space is large and inviting Friendly staff Easy parking across the street or on the street Cake donut was great, needs a few more sprinkles but great Coffee taste was great, had a double espresso so definitely tasted the coffee Breakfast sandwiches were on the menu, did not try, but great option CONS: Yeast donut- depends on what you like. It is a thicker yeast donut not the light and fluffy I can eat 10 at a sitting type of yeast, but the taste was good HIGHLY RECOMMEND STOPPING INTO THIS ONE STOP SHOP!

This place serves sushi, Korean Fried Chicken, Japanese ramen, and features make your own Mongolian stir fry. I always opt for the stir fry. The restaurant has a decent sized dining area and the staff is friendly enough. My interaction with them was limited but in my brief interaction they did their job, nothing more, nothing less. Back to the sir fry. So, you get a bowl and load it up with noddles or rice, then your choice of proteins, vegetables, and sauces. After you got it just the way you want it, you drop it off for them to grill. They move pretty quick. I got my entre in less than 8 minutes. It was really good and reasonably priced. This restaurant is a nice change of pace from fast food for me. I wish I made it here more often. The food is really good and I get to put my creativity to the test while I am here. I recommend checking this place out.

Upon walking in, we were greeted, and I decor to take time to look at the menu. We decided to get several meal options and sushi rolls. We ordered shrimp and meatball pho, Mongolian beef, chicken and shrimp, fushion combo rolls, shaggy dog roll and taro Oreo smoothie. The pho broth lacked flavor. Also, I had to ask for toppings that were supposed to be included with my pho. When asked where the basil was, I was told they were out, and that they usually get some from the store down from them, but they were closed. I explained that if I'd know that, I would have chosen another option. I also had to ask for sauces such as the oyster and siratcha sauce. The sushi rolls were okay, but nothing to rave over. When I attempted to order the Taro Milk Tea, were told the my were out of boba, so we opted for the taro Oreo smoothie. As far as the Mongolian combo plate, the steak and chic was super processed and felt like it came out of a bag. For almost $100, I would expect to receive better quality food and honesty on what options are actually available. We were definitely disappointed in this experience.
