Came here with my family after having lunch at The Salted Pig and was not let down by the perfect 5 stars. Toi Moi deserves the great reviews. I have been to Frostbites and while both delicious, Toi Moi comes out on top. If you haven't been to either one, you get a choice of Italian ice and frozen custard. Toi Moi gives you 4 free toppings which includes various candies and fruits. I went with Watermelon and blue coconut Italian ice and vanilla custard. Topped it off with pineapple, watermelon, a blueberry, and one raspberry. Delicious. The only real complaint I have is the minimal amount of toppings they put on top of the dessert. It's only one piece of whatever fruit you choose. One. While it was delicious, I wish I had more than one blueberry. Overall, this place is great! Come check it out if you are in the area. read more

I hate to give small business based on 1 experience but I tried the Açaí bowl away after 3 bites the granola with raisins was stale and ruined the whole thing, the strawberries we're so hard to eat with the bowl they should be bite size. Everything looked delicious. There were no other customers there, we ordered and were out within 8 minutes. We both got the pitaya bowl and grabbed a few mochi ice creams while we waited. Wasn't a fan of the coffee mochi, but the green tea and cookies and cream were great. The pitaya bowls came out looking just like the pictures. Fruit was fresh. Service was friendly. I will be back with my kids for some dessert very soon. I was hoping this spot could replace frostbite since their line is ridiculous, but this place did not have peanut butter Italian ice, and I forgot to check for coconut. I'll still be back for the other goodies, but I probably won't go there for the Italian ice. read more

This place is pronounced twah mwah, like it's french. Pronounced it toy moy for a while, but I learned the real pronunciation recently. Around closing time me and some people from my club acts2fellowship came in, and with over 30 of us, they served our large group. Excellent service, and I was provided with some delicious samples. I ordered the toi moi special, and got the beach Comber and the strawberry Dole soft serve. I imagine the strawberry Dole to be good as a Dole whip, but to be honest, I was enjoying my beach Comber too much that the strawberry softserve wasn't that memorable. The beach Comber is this sweet cotton candy tasting ice cream with bits of poprocks in it. Yea poprock icecream, that is quite unique, and quite delicious. The pistachio ice cream was also pretty good. Overall, for good service and delicious ice cream, I will definitely be back. Pop rocks in icecream, wow why didn't I think of that? read more

While in Riverside I decided that I wanted to wet my whistle, and while driving around I noticed Toi Moi, an Italian Ice & Custard/juice bar. With such a fancy name you'd assume that this place would only use the freshest ingredients, and luckily they do! I got myself a medium-sized freshly squeezed fruit juice, which contained apples and strawberries. The juice was simply delicious. Nature's nectar couldn't be any better! As I sipped on my drink, I literally felt like all the natural vitamins energized my brain, making me feel super healthy. ;) Overall my visit to Toi Moi was an incredibly satisfying experience. Unfortunately I didn't have any time to try their custard Italian ice, but after looking at some of the posted photos, I can't help but feel disappointed that I missed out! When I do return back to Riverside I will definitely pay another visit to Toi Moi, and since Summer is coming back soon you can bet that I'll be counting down the days for their delicious icey desserts! I'll start off by saying that the pricing is too high--which may be why this place is a little slow during other coffee/tea/ice cream shop's rush hour. Nevertheless, I ordered a fresh juice (#1) and it was very satisfying while ignoring the fact that I just payed $7.56 for a 24 oz. drink that I could have purchased at Mother's Market (a very high end grocery store) for $5.45. Other than the high pricing (of literally everything they have to offer) everything looks delicious. The only problem is that it's in the dead center of multiple colleges, that include students who are currently, and forever will be drowning in debt. So, students (like myself) would be more than thrilled to discover such an awesome hole in the wall--but the pricing will definitely turn them away. If the pricing was lower, this place would be the next big thing in Riverside's developing city. I'd give it the full 5 stars if the pricing wasn't so darn high! I'm a college student but I was craving a juice, and I don't have a juice maker at home so unfortunately, that couldn't have been an alternative. We ordered the watermelon sorbet and the mango strawberry pinkberry sorbet with tart yogurt. Both were delicious, although I preferred the watermelon. Both came with choice of 3 toppings (fruit or candy). Presentation was very nice and pleasing to the eye. The service was great! The owners were friendly and helpful. After we sat down, the owner came over and offered us free samples of the mango pineapple smoothie which was delicious and tasted natural. I found myself here at least once a week, teetering on more than a couple of times a week. Never disappointed when I go here. The man and woman working there are incredibly friendly (they now know my face because I've been there so many times with my friend). My favorites are the green juice #1 and Acai bowl. I've also gotten their ice cream before, which was delicious! Sometimes, the man would give us free samples of their dole whip when my friend and I were waiting for our orders. This cute little mom and pop shop just newly opened up last month and was an excellent experience. The Italian ice served solo or with yogurt or ice cream was a million times better in taste than frostbites!! Oh, and not to mention how generous the portions were! All the sweet drinks to ice cream truffles, look so delicious, if I could I would try everything they offered. I got myself a Cold brew, custard Float with Boba. It's true, Toi Moi is definitely going to give frostbites a run for their money! Very friendly and helpful owners, and plenty of parking and room to sit. We tried the pineapple Italian ice and vanilla custard and watermelon/mango ice with custard and they were all perfect, not too sweet and the custard creamy and smooth, but I think we liked the mango Italian ice + vanilla custard combo the best! My new go to place for italian ice, green juice, fruit+green juice, and smoothies. The Korean couple who owns Toi Moi is as sweet as the italian ice they serve. They greeted everyone who came in while I was in there with a warm smile. They are extremely genuine and friendly. Their sorbet is made from real fruits, and you can sample as many as you'd like. Their cream is exactly like Frostbites, and even though they don't have as many flavor of sorbet as Frostbites do, they have the basic flavors, a few intriguing ones like Blue Coconut (which is really refreshing), and even cool pre-combined flavors. But if you like a specific flavor in the combined flavors, they're willing to scoop out that flavor for you! They also have an extremely extensive menu of fresh green juices, fruit+green juices, fruit juices, and smoothies. All of them are freshly squeezed, and they don't add any additional sugars or other sweeteners in them. Seriously goes with their motto "It's easy being green". I can't wait to go back to try more things on their menu! Such a great establishment. They just opened a few months ago, so show them some love!!! read more
