Tyler Savage has been a pleasure to work with the last 5+ years. Him and his company (MFE Health…read moreGroup and prior to this company) have serviced our event and have given our attendees the best care possible. He is very responsive and always adjusts whenever we need it. I highly recommend his company as they never fail to drive 3+ hours for our event! We have never been cheated by him and his company, so I'm not sure why the current reviews are warnings.

In 2019, our soup kitchen, the St. Joe's Supper Table, registered its staff and volunteer team for on-site first-aid training with Mr. Savage, who required that we pay the $1,187 fee in advance. We wrote the cheque several weeks before the scheduled day of training and it was also cashed by Mr. Savage. When the training day arrived, Mr. Savage never showed up to offer the service for which we had already paid in full. My organization asked for a refund and Mr. Savage confirmed in writing on two separate occasions that this would be issued. Weeks and months passed, with our bookkeeper attempting to contact Mr. Savage on numerous occasions, but with no success. Mr. Savage stopped responding to our emails and never returned our money. When I eventually located him through LinkedIn, Mr. Savage claimed that his prior company had gone bankrupt and, of course, no refund was issued. A warning for those using Medics for Events: Mr. Savage's prior company had nearly an identical service offering to his current firm. We feel that we were swindled out of our money, plain and simple. My organization had no choice but to file a police report with Ottawa Police Services against Tyler Savage. To this day, our soup kitchen is out nearly $1,200 -- an amount that is significant given our tight budget and how hard we try to keep our community meal service going for the city's homeless and marginalized populations.
