The street looks pretty rough, and I probably wouldn't have gone in if I weren't in such sore need of a cut, but I was. In I went, and was told politely that there was a bit of a wait, but they could fit me in. I listened to the stylists chatting with their clients while I knitted, and it was clear that the staff know who they're working with and like them. I saw older ladies, a young man, a college-aged woman all getting their hair cut and styled by the staff. When my turn came after about 30 minutes, Chelsea asked what I wanted to have done and set about washing, conditioning and cutting my hair. We made small talk, and then she straightened my hair, which I love. It was the checkout that clinched it for me...$19 for a good full wash, cut, style is unheard of! I'll take my kids here, too, because the Wal-Mart chip job my son got wasn't worth the $11 we paid!

With knowledge of what I've done to my hair in the past, the hairdresser also told me I had healthy hair when she first touched it. and I'm only posting about them now because they tried to say it was my fault because I bleached my hair months ago. Idk who anyone's trying to fool I've been doing my own hair since I was 11 and I've never had my hair melt on the first application of bleach in 30 minutes so. Pls tell me more about how it's my fault then they over charged me to fix it with toner. My blonde highlights aren't visible because they melted the strands all the way to about 2 inches. Oh and the best part about this is Abby decided to blow dry my hair upwards from the underneath of my hair and made it into a puffy unmanageable mess where tf did you get your license honestly I could've done better with a 10$ kit from Walmart at least I'd still have my hair health. I do not recommend going to their salon. They refuse to admit when they did wrong. Oh and I did time the process bc I was texting my friend during it. They tried to tell me my hair was fine and there was literallllly blonde strands everywhere breaking off. Just a warning. My hair was untouched for a month and before that I just did black. I never had this issue. AND Abby brushed my hair sooo hard taht she damaged my black hair that is very well cared for. I love Molly and Christine and they are the only two I'll let touch my hair. I've never had any issue with them and have never had a complaint. Molly has thick hair herself and knows how to cut, layer and deal with my thick hair perfectly. Christine is amazing at coloring hair and did my prom hair last year and it turned out amazing. Both can read people pretty well and understand what you are asking for and if you aren't in to talking a lot during your appointment they totally understand and won't make you uncomfortable. Love this place and it's the only place I'll go for my hair in the North Country!
