All they had time for was a 30 min massage but I would take anything I could get for some relief. My appointment was with Kaylee and she was truly wonderful. I had been for a similar massage the week before at home in Toronto, which I thought had been pretty good at the time. But comparatively, Kaylee's was far, far better. The room was nice and warm, and she had a pregnancy massage pillow ready for me. Hurrah!! I could lay on my front with my boobs and belly supported properly but not squished. It was glorious. Her touch was just right. Strong but not too strong as too be painful before I had a chance to relax. Her personality was a joy too. The 30 mins flew by and I was sad that i couldn't book another appointment with her when I left. But when I'm back visit my Mum again I will. And you should too. The front desk area of the clinic was in a bit of a mess the day I was there. It wasn't their fault though. They had recently had a car drive through their front window into the waiting area. Yep. That's right. One of those "I stepped on the gas instead of the brake" deals, and CRASH... right through the window. So there were some workers there fixing drywall and such. But I will say that I didn't notice any noise at all when I was in the massage room.

Typically, I come for a wax and always feel welcomed and comfortable throughout the process. During a recent visit, I decided to ask about facials (I've never had one before). Laurie (the owner) explained several to me that would be beneficial for my skin concerns. I booked an appointment for the four layer mask facial and nervously went to my appointment. After she brought me down to the room where the procedure was to be performed, she explained the series of events to be expected. Throughout her explanation she asked if I had any questions. She was very welcoming and comforting and provided a fantastic explanation for what was to be expected. After undressing and getting comfortable on the table she came in and began my facial. It was an AMAZING experience and I highly recommend it to everyone! The aromas of the product and the room were relaxing; the subtle music in the background helped me to unwind. I felt as though I was being transported to another place. Her expertise with facials made each phase feel like second nature for her hands. I am beyond words by how impressed I am from this experience. As I mentioned, this was my first facial every and so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I will definitely be setting the bar high for my future facials. I walked out of my appointment feeling extremely relaxed and my face feels softer than a baby's bottom. Honestly, I'm not sure when my face has ever felt this great! I will be back for more!

I found her massage to be very restorative. It was different from my normal massage, which is very deep and tough and vigorous and which I like. Shelby is the perfect hostess, greeting us late night with a warm welcome, a cup of tea (.....and a glass of wine)... we had decided we wanted to try the yoga class in the morning and Shelby prearranged that for us. Walking up to our room Shelby let us know there would be home baked breakfast bread and fruit in the am out for us. Our room was really nicely designed, our bed so comfortable, and brand new. We slept very well, and joined the yoga class in the am before we took off for our day trip adventure. Again, arriving that night to a glass of wine, calm lighting and beautiful space Ps. That yoga class was one of the best we have done. My only regret is that we didn't have time to get acupuncture. Shelby is well known in the region for her amazing skill in that dept.
