I had the best human experience that anyone can have with another person especially an absolute stranger. I live in upstate NY and my daughter goes to college in Massachusetts. Her car broke down and we were lucky enough to have the owner from Tody's tow the car. He met me after hours on a Saturday evening to get the car back. A criminal enterprise My car was totalled in January and was brought to Tody's (they were on duty with the police at the time). Before I could get to the lot to retrieve my personal things, Tody's allegedly told my insurance company that I said they could come get the car. It was weeks later when I went to get the car I discovered it was gone, along with my child's car seat ($$) and my EZ-PASS transponder. I just found $120 of transponder fees on my credit card from 4 months after the car was totalled. The most likely explanation is that Tody's either kept it or sold it. Unbelievable! read more

It seems like the owner is the only one who works here. There's a phone tree, but whichever number you click on always sends you to the same exact person, so why they even have a phone tree is a mystery to me. Anyway, Tody, who answers the phone does not have good customer service. Our car was towed by them after an accident and we called to get it released, they said they were open on Sundays but then when we called on Sunday to have someone pick up the car, they were closed and we couldn't get it, even though Tody had told us that they would be open at 10 am on Sunday that night before when we called. Later, when I called to release the car to the insurance company Tody wouldn't wait two minutes for me to find the license plate number for our car, telling me he had fifteen other people in front of him and making me feel like an inconvenience. I honestly wouldn't have minded if he had just asked me to hold while he took care of customers in the store. That would've been perfectly fine, but staying on the phone with me, while he was flustered and was rushing the call and not listening to or responding to my questions with anything other than talking about how busy his morning was was not ok. He seems like a nice guy, but he needs to hire a few other people to handle customer service or he needs to learn how to put people on hold for a minute instead of making customers and people who are already dealing with enough if their car got towed feel like they are an inconvenience and are just wasting his time. read more

"Don't know about that" was all he could say, in spite of what obviously happened. Total covering of his backside/not owning up. 120 bucks later, and new fuses, etc, I advise you to look further. read more

I do not review much unless I either have a really negative experience or a really great one. In this case, it was really great (for a negative situation...I mean come on, who really wants to get their car towed!) The owner was very friendly and explained the process of reimbursement through AAA. I have passed by here a million times and never had to utilize them.
