Unfortunately, he wouldn't be able to get out for several weeks (big storm, lots of downed trees). I was concerned about using my driveway as the large limb was hanging overhead. Steve sent a couple of his guys out to take care of that limb right away. They then came back a couple of weeks later to complete the rest of the job. I explained it so even a 3rd grader could comprehend it, but scribbled in his so called "contract" was to take down the hickory tree with no mention of the ash for $1500.00. It's lucky we were watching these guys before they took down the hickory. In the meantime, they had cut the branches of two neighboring trees for no apparent reason. So now Bob himself comes on the scene with no mask, and tells me it was my fault, and to remove the branches from the ash would be an additional $1500.00! That obviously didn't get done. This was, in my opinion, a typical bait and switch technique, which is not only unethical, but unprofessional as well. In his his called "contract" it states the pieces would be cut into 15" lengths. Some of them were twice that long! Guess they must have forgotten their ruler. And check out the pictures for the damage they did to my yard. And all this is after I gave him a referral. The next referral he gets from me will be with the Better Business Bureau.
