They completed the job of cutting overhanging branches and removing a group of six medium size trees all close together near the front of the house. They also cut a thick branch that was leaning toward my neighbor's house, although it was not dead, but just in case it fell in the future. Steve and worker Rodney did a great job and cleaned up when finished. The price was reasonable for the four hours they worked. I would hire them again.

This is the 3rd time we have used Bob's tree service and he is the only tree service we use and recommend to our friends and neighbors.

I explained it so even a 3rd grader could comprehend it, but scribbled in his so called "contract" was to take down the hickory tree with no mention of the ash for $1500.00. It's lucky we were watching these guys before they took down the hickory. In the meantime, they had cut the branches of two neighboring trees for no apparent reason. So now Bob himself comes on the scene with no mask, and tells me it was my fault, and to remove the branches from the ash would be an additional $1500.00! That obviously didn't get done. This was, in my opinion, a typical bait and switch technique, which is not only unethical, but unprofessional as well. In his his called "contract" it states the pieces would be cut into 15" lengths. Some of them were twice that long! Guess they must have forgotten their ruler. And check out the pictures for the damage they did to my yard. And all this is after I gave him a referral. The next referral he gets from me will be with the Better Business Bureau.

I asked for a quote to get a tree removed from the back yard. I was asked to send pics which I did…read moreand told that Justin would swing by to look at the tree. It took about two weeks for me to get the estimate. When I called back to ask if there was some "wiggle room" on the price I was told Justin had gone on vacation and I'd have to wait until his return from vacation. I called back at the time in which he was expected to return from vacation. I was told that they had just got back and they still needed more time--that is, to answer my question about whether there was wiggle room on the price. Next conversation, I was told the number was set as is, and I would need to sign a contract. I said email me the contract, which I signed upon receipt. Thus, I had accepted the price roughly $500 with taxes to remove a single tree. In the past, I had had several trees removed for $700, and I had another rather large tree removed prior to that--in short, I was a regular customer. Next, I needed to schedule the date for removal of the dead tree and there was some lapse in time--perhaps, one week or worse case maybe two weeks but I honestly believe it was only one week. I call back to schedule the removal, and I am told that I lost my date by the answering service rep. There is this weird system where you speak to an answering service rep who apparently can't negotiate price and can't schedule anything because they are the middle person and this person must call yet another individual to weigh in on estimates, and to schedule tree removal. The answering service rep calls me back and tells me I lost my date because I missed calls or didn't return phone calls. I am still honestly confused, and I am like well just give me another date. I don't understand the purpose of the call. Is it just to tell me that I lost my date? I remind her that I signed the contract for tree removal, and I would like to move forward to schedule. Again, I don't understand what is the problem? To my mind, I might have missed 1-2 calls, but I am calling now to schedule. I would add that I only have one number for Arbor Tech and I don't answer any random calls from an unidentified caller. So, I am not sure if they had called me from another number and I just didn't pick up. In any case, the answering service rep says she must call me back. I get a phone call in minutes from Justin who violently shouts and screams at me. He is totally unhinged and yells: LOOSE MY NUMBER DON'T EVER CALL MY BUSINESS AGAIN. To that, I simply hang up. I want to emphasize that the voice was violent, and hostile. The person identified himself as Justin, the OWNER. I answered my phone with a simple hello. In short, I was never provided the tree removal service, and I have no idea why not returning a phone call or phone calls resulted in my loss of a date.
