My wife and I live in Mt. Pleasant, TX, and were driving to Rockwall when our vehicle broke down about 92 miles from home. We called AAA, and they dispatched Todd's Towing. From the moment they were assigned the call, everything went smoothly. Our driver, Tom, arrived very quickly, was professional, courteous, and treated both us and our vehicle with great care. He safely towed us all the way back to Mt. Pleasant without any issues. A tow of that distance could have been a long and stressful experience, but Tom's exceptional customer service, friendly conversation, and positive attitude made the trip much more enjoyable. He truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. if I could I would submit a negative rating as this towing service is unethical and bordering illegal. will certainly report this to BBB as my vehicle involved in accident taken to their yard rather than to collision place of request. the excuse given to me was that paperwork needed to be completed. having been involved collisions before this is certainly an unethical practice to generate an extra charge. Got my car towed home by Todd's Towing through AAA. The service was great and the guy got my car home in one piece. It was covered by AAA so I'm not sure how much it would've cost out of pocket. Our driver was very nice and professional. I'd definitely request them again for any towing needs in the future. read more

I got in a car accident on 205 and while i was waiting for triple a to come they came, loaded up my car, and before i could even talk to them drove off with it. mind you, the police officer on sight said the tow driver would ask me where i wanted my car towed. so after they towed it without my consent they denied having it until i called the cops and they said they had it. so after them having my car for only an hour and a half they charged me 700 DOLLARS to pick it up. oh and they had the rudest customer service ever, so if you're in an accident and todd's towing gets called tell them no!!! read more

First - if you don't have AAA then you need to get it ! I have seen Todds trucks around town for many years, but haven't had to use the service. I locked my keys in the car i called AAA and they sent out Todd's. I was given an estimated time out of appropriately 1 hour. Todd's was to my location within 15 minutes and he had my durango open within 5 min of getting to me. Amazing. ahead of schedule and good at the job. I will al keep Todd's in mind if I need their services. read more

The little man who towed my car was EXTREMELY rude & unprofessional. I don't know his name but he was short, loud & very unpleasant. Mind you I'm a young lady who just had a wreck, I was very distraught & he showed NO sympathy. I wouldn't have anybody in that condition representing my company. Embarrassing. read more

The man's name was Kris... It's as if we had done something horrible to this guy. 1st thing he said was " You're lucky I'm even here today, I dont want to be doing this shit" then he said. if you want me to tow it at all I'm going to need you to be shut up. I couldn't believe this. After, he got the car up. he just drove away quickly without saying anything. we had to run to our car to follow him. Once we found him on the road we followed him into a Taco Bell!!! We had explained it to him before we were a a tight schedule. it's as if he did this on purpose out of spite. lastly, we get to our destination and instead of putting the car in neutral ( he had the key in his hand) he uses his truck the throw the car back and forth scrapping the car down the ramp with the tired locked up. We asked him to stop, but he continued to do what he was doing and said, let me do my job. he then tossed the keys for me to catch and left. No one deserves that. Justin came to my home to tow my Mercedes From RC to Plano. He was Extremely professional and knew exactly how to pull my car on the truck bed. They are reasonably priced too! I have had previous experience with other towing companies through an ins company and do not always receive such professional service. if you are in need of a professional and reasonably priced tow, use these guys!! read more

Yiiikes. So I called AAA and they're the ones that sent these guys out. First off, they arrived late. Second, my fiancé offered to put the car in neutral so it wouldn't get further damaged after the wreck. The guy refused and he strapped it onto the right control arm. He couldn't get it out bc there's a block of concrete sitting underneath which I understood but the lady that I was on the phone with got rude and said that they don't cover that and that they would have to send another person which would cost $95. If I got AAA would it look like I have that kind of money up front? I called a friend to help us pull it out so the tow guy can just worry about getting it to a shop. The lady on the phone said "were leaving" and got rude with me so of course I'm gonna get rude back. And I hung up later that. read more

I have AAA and they called Todd's Towing. It took almost 3 hours for the guy to get there and he was completely rude the entire time. He barely tried to get the car unlocked, maybe for about 5 minutes, called AAA and told them that he couldn't do it. What a complete waste of time!!! A locksmith had to be called. We unfortunately have had to use them before with pretty much the same service and outcome. Calling AAA to recommend they use a different company. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER! I have been waiting over 3 hours for a tow that's only 15 minutes away. The first driver that came out was unable to tow the car, and when I asked if I needed to be here for the next driver they send out here, he said "no, they tell you to be here but we don't need you to be"... the second driver apparently did need me to be here so came and left with no phone call, no knock on the door (my husband was inside), no tow. I called the dispatcher directly and she is terrible. The dispatcher is rude, unhelpful, should not be working in the service industry, in fact she HUNG UP on me after rudely yelling over me, wouldn't even listen to my story!!! Do not use this towing service, absolutely AWFUL. read more

I called them through AAA and they said they were sending a tow truck within an hour to tow my truck as I was on the side of the freeway with a blown tire. According to Todd's, a tow truck was necessary as it was too dangerous to change a tire on the side of the freeway. TWO hours later, an employee of Todd's showed up in a small pickup who said he was sent to change a tire. He said he knew nothing about a tow truck being sent when I asked him where the tow truck was. We were not able to locate the unlocking mechanism for the rims. (I later found out from the tire store that the "mechanism" I found and showed him really was the unlocking mechanism but he said "no, that's not it." Since the tire couldn't be changed, he then called for a tow truck to come and tow my vehicle to the tire store so another 20-30 minutes wait. This is unacceptable service and will be filing a complaint with AAA. It was 95 degrees and when a 60 minute tow (they put me at the top of the priority list ... sure) takes well over 2 hours, that is just downright dangerous. Do not use this company and don't let AAA order from there either. Save yourself the frustration. read more
