Sweet, that was super easy. The first response I received back was from A1 services, saying "I am booked".. Well my inquiry was for a scheduled service, not an emergency. Was not too confident with them. The second response that I received was from Jason. Very professional response and he assured me that my issue was normal and he has seen it a few times. The third inquiry I received from The honest plumber, it was well over a day and by my photo he could not give me a definite price. The fourth was to EHS & Sons, I have yet to receive a response. I was just like any other Yelper and wanted to do my research before hiring anyone. All reviews were perfect, checked other sources and HE IS COMPLETELY LEGITIMATE. When I replied to Jason he gave me a quick response with his phone number and told me I could text or call him with any questions or to discuss the issue. I set up a time for him to come out and do the work the next day :) The work was complete in just a few hours, once everything was set and dry we could put our new toilet on. Toilet was set with no problems and it is now fully functional. Jason was a very nice and professional man to work with. I would recommend his services to anyone. Great response time and fair prices. Thank you Jason for the great work that you provided, I will be sure to recommend you to others. He gets his jobs through word of mouth and does not advertise. I am happy to have found him :)

This 5-star review is for Shawna and Curtis…read more Shawna is the office manager and has been exceptionally kind and informative each time we have spoken. My house needed the main-line unclogged, and in addition, we needed the shower pan in our master bathroom looked at. Shawna told me she would call me back in 5 minutes and she did exactly that, got us scheduled and told us to never hesitate to reach back out if we needed anything in the meantime. Curtis was the technician that showed up, got our main-line cleared and also was able to fix our shower pan issue as well. The pan had too much head pressure which was causing the drainage system to suck in air and clog the drains. He had it fixed in about 5 minutes. We were so happy with that fix we asked them to replace our hot water heater, got a quote for $2400 which included all the proper certifications and inspections. We set up an appointment for the following week and Curtis, along with another gentleman, got it done in about 2 hours. They also repaired a few of our water valves in our laundry room before leaving. All in all, it was a great experience this time around. My father previously had a bad experience with Stan's, but we couldn't be happier this time thanks to Shawna, Curtis and the gentleman that helped Curtis as well!

I asked for a quote to replace all the lateral plumbing in my attic. Not whole home. Just the attics. I was quoted 12500.00. A quick run through AI showed the materials cost at 1000-1500. I even gave them 2500 just to be nice. That means 10000 in labor cost for a 2-3 day job. When I asked the contractor about the materials cost specifically he could not even give me a list. How can you calculate a quote without knowing labor cost or materials cost? I found a reputable plumber to do the job for a fair price. Unfortunately, most of these businesses don't want to do these jobs so they way overbid them in hopes people don't look into it and just get it done. And most of the time these are people in dire straights due to a major leak etc.

Did find a capacitor that was failing and replaced. Charged for the part only. Used them again to replace the water pressure gauge on our home system. No charge this time as they had an older one on the truck and I told them it was fine to use it (only difference was it wasn't as shiny or expensive as brand new). HPS isn't the cheapest but they are absolutely reliable and the office staff and pros are friendly and professional!

They came out again and this time used a camera to go into the main pipe and found a larger issue (collapsed pipe). We were told it would be up to 72 hours for an estimate. It took over a week to just get an estimate, despite calling multiple times (this was an emergency issue, our pipe had collapsed and our bathrooms kept overflowing with sewage water). In the meantime, we decided to contact another company, Hometown Plumbing. They came to our house within 22 hours, provided an estimate on the spot, and returned Monday morning to complete major work and pipe replacement. Meanwhile, we just heard back from HPS TODAY, over 10 days after the initial issue, and their quote was $6,000 higher than what we paid Hometown Plumbing. We are glad we didn't wait around and found a superior company to get the job done.

He was very prompt to respond to my yelp inquiry about how much it would cost to fix a kitchen sink overflowing problem. He contacted us and gave us a reasonable quote with no hidden fees. Eddie quickly scheduled us for a next day appointment. He did have to reschedule our original appointment due to having had an unforeseen complication with the previous job/appointment with another client. He said that a pipe had broken, and he had to wait for Cal-Water to turn off the water. We appreciated him contacting us and rescheduling our appointment for the next day. He even gave us a discount for the inconvenience. Eddie showed up the next day just like he said he would. He was polite and very professional when he showed up wearing his mask because of the COVID19 circumstance. He quickly diagnosed our plumbing issue as a grease plug. He was able to get our kitchen sink and the draining pipe for laundry washer cleared out and in good working order. We then asked, him since he was already at our house, how much it would cost to get the kitchen faucet replaced. He gave us a reasonable quote so we also hired him to replace our kitchen faucet. He was unable to do it the same day since he had other jobs, but he scheduled an appointment to do this three days later. On the second appointment, once again he showed up when he said he would, and he replaced our faucet that is now working great!! Our old faucet had little water pressure. One of the shut off valves needed to be replaced due to it being old and rusty and it nearly broke. He showed us the problem and asked if we would like it to be replaced for a small additional fee. We appreciate him showing us the problem and asking if we wanted it replaced, instead of just doing it and then charging us what we would have assumed was a hidden fee. We appreciate that he is very honest and up front with fees. We hate when people say they will charge you a set amount only to give you a different price later on. Eddie was very honest and reasonable in his fees for services. So much so that we asked him to give us a quote for re-piping our entire house. We appreciate that he didn't just give a price off the top of his head when we asked him. He looked around the house to see what would need to be replaced, and he later gave us an informed and reasonable quote. As mentioned before, we were very pleased to work with Eddie, and we would recommend him to others.
