Today I had an emergency with my plumbing and had no idea what to do I spoke to Janice the receptionist and they provided me steps and starting fees (loved the no hidden fees) and what to expect. Right away they came out and Fernando was able to access the damage and was super informative, nice, and helpful he was so easy to talk to and I didn't feel like I didn't understand not once-being that I don't know anything about plumbing. Fernando was quick to work on the resolution and finished the job with hrs !! Thank you so much for all the help Fernando we truly appreciate you read more

We have had this company out to our home a few different times now. Always an amazing experience! We have an indirect high pressure solar hot water system on our roof...we honestly thought it wasn't even in use anymore...until Saturday it started leaking and we had water just running off our roof! Of course on a holiday weekend right?! We had a company come out Monday and quote us $2,500! Saying they needed to lower our water heater and blah blah blah...fast forward to this morning and we had Bakersfield Plumbing Company out...he said oh this is a simple fix, shouldn't take more than an hour and a half. And he was right!! No more water leaking from the unit on our roof, new lines from house to water heater, and peace of mind! All for $300! They will always be my first call! 10/10 recommend! Thank you Jerry for your time and knowledge this morning and answering all my questions! read more

I called Friday and they were able to come out on Saturday morning to replace a valve and replace our old RO system with the new one I purchased for under the kitchen sink. I appreciated Fernando calling to let me know he was on the way. Fernando is knowledgeable, professional, polite and personable and explained what he found and asked if I was ok going forward to have him fix the issues that he found with the water leaking from the valve and the old RO system. He even went to Home Depot to get a different part to hook the new RO system up to our refrigerator. He also put in a couple of shut off valves to be able to turn off the water to the RO system and refrigerator l, when needed, and still be able to use the faucet. I am so grateful and relieved for the great work that Fernando did for us and for explaining how to work everything. It's a huge weight off of me and I will use Bakersfield Plumbing in the future. I recommend them for your plumbing needs. Thank You! read more

We tried replacing a tub faucet and called Bakersfield Plumbing to assess for a leak. Fernando was great! He called when he was on the way and provided education on the proper type of fixture and found the problem. It was an issue with the installation from the builder in 2003 from placing the outer ring around the faucet in the wrong position. read more

I'm very happy with Bakersfield Plumbing. I called them and spoke with a friendly & helpful receptionist. She offered me an appointment for the very next day , however I wasn't going to be home so I chose a different day . I received a friendly reminder text the day before my appointment and a call from Fernando the day of my appointment informing me that he was on his way . I truly appreciated both the text & call . Fernando was friendly, professional , skilled & knowledgeable. He went out of his way to explain the plumbing issues and solutions. He solved all the problems I was having with my sink and both toilets.. I'm very pleased with his expertise.. I would 100% recommend Bakersfield Plumbing and Fernando ! read more

The quality of work was excellent, and the pricing was very reasonable. I truly appreciate the fast and reliable service. Highly recommend! read more

Make sure to get a price quote before using their service. I was charged $223 for a simple unclogging of a toilet. I was not aware that it would be that much for 1-2 minutes of work. I would have waited until the following day to get a cheaper price during the week or used another plumber if I had known the cost would be so high on a Sunday. My fault for not checking, but it would have been great customer service for them to be up front about the high cost today. read more

BR WARNED!!!!! OVERCHARGED!!! I called for a technician to come to our home to give us a quote for a toilet base leakage and when he came he immediately started working and before I knew it the technician had the toilet torn apart. When I tried to stop him and ask that I did not approve because I do not know what the service charge would be, he told me to call the office. Seeing as he already started I allowed him to continue and called. Alysa told me it would be 159 an hour (this was at 12:30) plus this charge would start when he left the office. I said how do I know when he left and that they did not inform me of this charge when I first called. Because I was upset they assured me they would then 'take care of me' and take this charge off. Around 2 hours later the working technician called for a camera technician for more investigation. Another hour later the another technician showed up that both said the would have to bust out some concrete to install a clean out pipe and then said it would be $1,600!!! When I ask how could that be? Again he said to call the office. I called and asked why and they said that was the price. When I asked for this job itemized, the charge broken down to labor and materials, the office said they don't do that but that they would take off the 225 camera charge, but still charge $1,600. As you can see from the photos below how could let them leave with that mess in my bathroom. In the end they refused to clean the tub and toilet stating "this was not their shit" and left. Shit was on the floor. So unsanitary and disgusting. Made me sick. I feel like I was taken advantage of when in all they were only there for 5 hours. So underhanded the way they pulled this on me. Maybe because I was alone, a woman??? BE WARNED!!!! If you use this company do not let they do this to you. read more

We had Matthew Flores come out to fix a shower faucet that wasn't working and he showed up to my house within less than 10 minutes of me calling his office. Once he got there, he was able to assess the situation and handled everything perfectly. he was extremely courteous and nice and professional. Told me that he needed to go back to a hardware store and buy a part that needed to be installed, after that he had the decency to turn the water back on and to check for any leaks. Upon doing so we established, meaning him, that there was a leak so he went back to the store to get the parts necessary to complete the job. While doing, he held the upmost, courtesy and respect for my daughters and myself, as well as actually explaining and showing me what it is that he was doing. When the job was done, he asked me to come and inspect it to make sure everything was up to my standards which it was. Most handyman that I've dealt with have never gave me all of those so I want to give him in particular plus his company, extreme gratitude and appreciative of their professionalism. I would recommend this company, including him to anybody that runs across any plumbing issues. Thank you Matthew. I hope this helps you and your company, you guys are great. Keep up the good work. Thank you! read more

Reception staff very courteous and was able to get me a plumber on the same day. Plumber called earlier than scheduled appointment, which was better for me. He was very professional and worked efficiently, even wore a protective covering for his shoes. Cleaned up after finishing with our shower drain and gave some pointers to prevent further severe drain clogs. I highly recommend Bakersfield Plumbing Co because they did an exceptional job. read more

The guys were great, but at $154.50 an hour my toilet ended up costing $954.50. I guess I was charged for the time they were running a getting parts they didn't have on the truc. I haven't seen a toilet worth $954.59 yet. Would I use them again? Absolutely not read more

I give 5 stars to Bakersfield Plumbing company for a job well done. Fernando provided an excellent service. He was courteous, knowledgeable and explained in detail what the issue was. He made time to listen, allowed me to ask questions and discussed what needs to be done. He was able to resolve the issue in a timely fashion. We highly appreciate his work and will highly recommend this company for plumbing services read more

I live in a mobile home park that replaced all the sewer lines. Bakersfield plumbing did the job. They didn't ask me if anything was tied into the sewer before they did the job on my space. The extremely close proximity of the sewer to my washing machine drain basically makes it impossible to miss the tie in. My washing machine was draining under ground for 18 months. I did not know this. The ground was so saturated the water wouldn't drain anymore and my wash was backing up into my laundry room. I also has a sink hole starting under my back steps. The park manager has been trying for a couple months now to get a call back from them to discuss them fixing the issue. They refuse to call back. I am extremely unhappy with this company and their work ethics. read more

Where to start......I had a clogged main line. Someone came later the same day. I have an older house so going through the roof of the house is the cheapest option, no catch in the yard. It costs more to go through the roof I was told. You can also go through the toilet but that is the most expensive option which I was not told about.....until after the work was done. I have a 1 story house and a ladder in the backyard. The plumber who came decided he didn't feel like climbing a ladder and instead would go through the toilet and forget to mention that the price would increase 100$ flat for his convenience, not professional but whatever. Now a few days later I have a similar problem, but now my toilet that was removed for more money and the plumbers convenience without me being notified starts leaking at the base because it wasn't sealed properly after. I call and alert the company of the problem. Initially they could come the following day to take more of my $ but when I mentioned that it was to finish the work that was not completed properly the first time, it would now be the day after that, they had the earliest opening. Now that day comes and goes and they don't show or call or text or email....ghosted. I call them on Monday now 3 days after they flaked on showing up to finish the work they hadn't completed from 8 days prior, im told their sending someone same day now. Well the same guy who did the shotty work to begin with shows up, irony...... he already has the toilet ring in his hands, he knows what he didn't do. Well 25 minutes later he walked out says it's done and then tries to charge me hundreds of dollars more for fixing the work that he hadn't completed to begin with, from over a week prior that I had already been overcharged for and took twice as long to complete as their competitors. Extremely unprofessional!!! I will never use or recommend this company ever again. I don't care if I have to take a canoe out of my house on a river of feces for the rest of my life I will never use Bakersfield plumbing again!!!!! read more

First off, I have been using these guys for 25 years, so I can testify they are honest professionals. Consider this: my main sewer line from my 1936 home needed to be cleaned and relined with a poly to extend its life. It's a huge job. During the process, one of the plumbers (Charles and Jason) tipped me off that I could have an electrical problem because their equipment kept tripping the breaker. "You could burn your house down" is what Charles told me. Well sure enough the next day I had Rankin Electric out and its rep (Joe Linnell) confirmed that "you need to thank that plumber because he was right!" So not only did they save my sewer line but likely my house too! Love these guys! read more

Professional and excellent quality of work. They may not be the low bid. But they did a great job repiping or condo.

Hard pass from me I've got a job I need done at a house I recently purchased so I've been calling around to plumbers to get quotes. I called these guys to add them to the short list of companies I want a bid from, they couldn't come out for almost a week and it's a $45 estimate fee just to send someone out to look and give a quote. No other company I've spoken to or had come out already charged a fee just to look and quote a price, hard pass. read more

As always, Bakersfield Plumbing came through for us again with fast, professional service. Our plumbing issues in our 22 year old house this time were a tub valve that was malfunctioning, and a poorly flushing toilet. I have had two experiences with Bakersfield Plumbing both of which were positive. Recently, I had a pinhole leak in my copper water line and of course it happened on a Saturday late afternoon. I called them and they send a man out with an hour, repair the pinhole leak and only charge me $140. The other time they Replaced a toilet that was leaking. They came out made the repair and did not overcharge me. I would highly recommend Bakersfield Plumbing due to their fast response and fair pricing. Update May 2019; I decided to replace all of my water lines. Although costly to do my old water pipes were starting to get leaks and didn't want to have a major flood. Bakersfield Pluming did the work. As usual they did a great job. read more

If you need real professional plumbing service call Bakersfield Plumbing. They were able to resolve (quickly) an issue I was having with a tankless water heater, after another plumber couldn't resolve it. The tech Mike was in constant contact, professional, and explained everything very clearly. Tankless service by Bakersfield Plumbing is very thorough. This turned out to be a great value for the original estimated charge. I'm a very happy (new) customer and will call them first for any future plumbing needs. read more

We recently used the services of Bakersfield Plumbing Co when we had a leak at our house. The company was quick to respond to our after hours service request. I would definitely recommend Bakersfield Plumbing! My water heater started leaking on a Saturday and they were able to come out that day! Thankfully because it couldn't have waited until Monday! He did what he could on Saturday but needed a part. So he came back on Monday to finish the job. I think the price was reasonable considering he came on a weekend and had to come back. I didn't feel like he was trying to rip me off in anyway. They seem to be an ethically run business, which I appreciate. read more

My house is around 60 years old and had some water/draining issues. We decided to finally repipe (water and waste) the whole house and decided to go with Bakersfield plumbing. The whole process was great! The guys were very polite, very professional, and kept me updated on the progress. It took a little longer than they estimated, but that was due to one of the guys getting sick and seeing a doctor. Would definitely recommend these guys if anyone is needing to repipe! As first-time homeowners, it was devastating to find out that the previous owners did not disclose to us the broken plumbing pipes under our house and backyard deck, we found out by a catastrophic flood of water exploding out of our toilets, bathtub and stand-up shower. The first plumbing company we called lied and told us there were three broken pipes underneath the house and backyard deck that had to be replaced and required excavating, tearing down drywall and the backyard deck, we would have to hire a separate company to repair cement, drywall. wooden deck after plumbing repair is done, we were looking at a complete job totaling $32,000.00 to $35,000.00. A neighbor recommended Bakersfield Plumbing and they came out and through the camera they saw we only had two breaks on the main sewer pipe, one under our cement patio and the other in the alley on the other side of our backyard fence , total price to fix plumbing pipes, permits, replace cement, clean-up and travel to Taft, CA $8,200.00. The owner came out on the first visit and did the camera through the pipes himself, from the front office to the crew who came out to do the work we were treated with absolute professionalism, friendliness, and kept us informed of the work being done from beginning to end. We love these guys and appreciate their honesty, will use them ONLY for all our plumbing needs and recommend them highly!!! read more

Professional, responsive and quick repair. Very impressed with Jason. Fair pricing. Definitely recommend and will use them again. I was dreading my repair bill as the house is 60 plus years old and the leak was under the concrete slab. Had RayTec isolate and Jason was there the next day to repair. Pleasantly surprised at my repair bill. Very professional and kept me informed throughout the repair process. Top Notch Company based on my experience. Highly recommend. read more
