The guy (I can't remember his name) that came out was AMAZING. He took his time to explain to me everything he was checking and the results from it. He also broke down what the process was to repair and used pictures to explain where the part was located. I have never experienced a mechanic like him. When it was time to fix my truck, Ralph broke down every part that was needed. I had my father on the phone with me and he agreed with everything he was telling me. They came this morning and picked my truck up. By 6pm, Ralph was letting me know that it was done. I couldn't believe that I was able to get my truck fixed in one day. Amazing. let me start off by saying John you are a really cool guy & i hope you reach nothing but success in…read moreyour business.!! but i took my 2011 BMW 335i to john i had a coolant leak so i had to switch out my water pump/ thermostat. John fixed that all in one day but same day i took the car home my car started smoking from the engine bay come to find out i needed a new valve cover/ valve cover gasket never had that problem until after i took it to johns shop. asked him why'd it do that suggested it was always a problem because "he test drove it before he gave it back to me" and said "he didn't see any smoking when he fixed it" so i just thought to myself ok whatever maybe when i get this fixed everything else would be ok. he also finished that job in one day, a day or two later i start my car & let it warm up i had a low coolant level, he didn't bleed my coolant before putting in the new one when i got my water pump / thermostat put in.. also noticed a fuel smell coming up from underneath the valve cover. that was the last time i took my car to john you really can't beat his labor prices, but that comes with him tweaking your car just so you can come back in few weeks later & have something else wrong with your car... so i just said F*** it and went to a performance shop, they fixed the fuel leak but said whoever my mechanic was that did my valve cover basically screwed up my fuel line from cylinder 3 & 4 till this day my car still smokes up a little so there's a chance that when john did my valve cover gasket he folded the gasket on top of itself while putting on the cover. now don't let this review discourage you from going to him, because he's a really cool guy and deserves all the customers, i just would never be one of them again. if your in the DFW area check out SKM Performance over in dallas, they're also good with labor prices and will have your car up and running without having to worry about the check engine light popping up..
