I began seeing Dr. Fort 14 years ago while he was still a student at Life Chiropractic College West. Over the years, he has effectively and successfully treated my wrist, neck, shoulder, and back pain for repetitive strains and sports-related injuries - as well as providing general "tune-ups" - through manual adjustments, Active Release Therapy (ART), The Activator Method, and Functional Movement Taping. In 2015 Dr. Fort treated my shoulder after I was diagnosed with a pinched nerve, acute bursitis, and rotator cuff tendonitis. When I walked into his office the extreme pain radiated down my arm, my fingers were numb, and I was unable to lift my arm much past my waistline. After a few manual adjustments and some ART, I saw great improvements in the reduction of pain and regained full extension of my arm in just one visit. Most recently, I came back to Dr. Fort after having shoulder surgery for an impingement, bone spurring and the removal of the long head of my bicep tendon. Over the course of five visits, Dr. Fort used Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) to release tension in my surrounding muscles and break up the scar tissue that had formed around my incisions. After using Function Movement Taping to provide lasting support, he showed me how and where to apply rock tape to myself. In conjunction with post-op physical therapy, through his treatment, I was able to regain 90% of my range of motion within 6 weeks. Dr. Fort is a professional, passionate problem solver with an expert understanding of the bodies' anatomy and how it works kinetically. He is thorough in his assessment, often times finding trigger points and issues that I didn't realize were contributing to my pain or my decreased range of motion. Furthermore, during his treatment, Dr. Fort takes the time to explain what he's doing, how it relates to my issue and how I will benefit from it during my healing process. When prescribing follow-up appointments his recommendations are well-founded. He is not the type to pressure you into weekly/ongoing office visits; instead, he recommends follow-up scheduling based upon your improvements and how you are feeling. With his multidisciplinary approach to holistic healthcare, I'm confident Dr. Fort will help relieve your pain.

My back felt good up until 2 years ago when I injured it moving a patient (I'm a nurse). My boyfriend has been seeing Dr. Pete for about 20 years now, he goes in for an adjustment about once every 6 months or so. For a whole year, my boyfriend kept telling me to go see Dr. Pete because he's amazing and will help with my back pain, but I was very skeptical. I had never been to a chiropractor before, especially a NUCCA chiropractor, and didn't have much faith in the practice. I tried icing my back, using a tens machine, going to physical therapy, and even acupuncture, but nothing really helped. So after a year, I finally agreed to go to Dr. Pete because nothing had helped and I was taking too much medication to help manage my pain and I was also scared of having to need surgery again. Well, BOY WAS I WRONG. After a couple of sessions, my back pain was completely gone and I felt amazing. I'm kicking myself for being so stubborn and suffering for a year and not going to see Dr. Pete sooner. First of all, Dr. Pete is amazing as soon as you walk into his door. He is very friendly and an absolutely brilliant chiropractor. He really cares about helping you be pain free and gives you advice on how to keep yourself in alignment longer. He's very knowledgeable about spinal care and he makes sure to explain everything he's doing, which definitely put me at ease in the beginning. His hands are literally magic, I'm so thankful how much he has helped me with my back pain. If you're suffering from any kind of neck, shoulder, back, knee, or foot pain. PLEASE GO SEE HIM. Do not be stubborn like I was, and let yourself suffer with pain. He can and will help with your pain. I've been telling all my friends, family and coworkers about him because he has worked wonders for me. Thank you so much Dr. Pete! Go see him, you won't regret it!

Months of conventional chiropractic, yoga, and physical therapy (more yoga) had failed to relieve the condition, until I decided to try Dr. Pete's Advanced Spinal Care and specialized treatment of NUCCA chiropractic. In several sessions over 2 weeks with Dr. Pete, my body's healing was jumpstarted: The tingling in my fingers ceased, and in the ensuing weeks I had a gradual improvement and finally total relief after a year of suffering. I appreciate and trust Dr. Pete on issues of health and well-being, his knowledge on natural healing and nutrition, his attention to detail, his honesty and professionalism. He is a wonderful human being, and healthcare, whether conventional or alternative, needs more individuals like him. I love the theory behind his practice of upper cervical chiropractic, that the gentle adjustment around one vertebra, the Atlas, readjusts the entire body so that it can work toward an optimum level of health and well being. It's so gentle, that I can even bring in my 90+.year old mom for treatment, which would not even be an option with conventional chiropractic. Highly recommended!
