The project estimate was about 20k and he finished the job on time and under budget. I would strongly recommend Reid and his crew for your job too.

Reid knows the importance of doing things right the first time and has an amazing eye for detail as well as problem solving skills. I can't even count the number of times we ran into issue (you know how older homes can be) and he would sit down and come up with a solution that was both economical, high-quality, and matched what we wanted. Many other reviewers have said this and I will reiterate it. Reid treats your house as his own. I never doubted that our home wasn't in good hands and had no qualms about handing him the keys and coming by when needed. We have been in our renovated home for a couple of months now and everything is top-notch. Besides loving it ourselves, we have had more compliments than I can even count. If you are looking for someone who has an eye for OCD-level details, impeccable quality of work and a badass crew, he is your guy.

First Tim replaced the ugly T-111 siding on my house with Hardie Plank and painted the house. Then I had him enclose my garage which included building closets and opening up walls to add French doors. Sheet rocking, painting, and trim work was done also. The project we just did was replacing an ugly bathtub with a shower enclosure. The area was torn down to the studs and redone. The tile floor was also replaced with nicer tile. Most of the time if you go to a place like Home Depot, Lowes, or a general contractor like State Wide Remodeling (or others) they simply sub out the work and double the price. You can cut out the middle man when you work with Tim and have more of a budget to actually do wor

My husband and I added 1200 square feet to our home including a new master suite, dining room and…read morefamily room. We couldn't be happier with our new space, and our experience with RisherMartin during the process was truly exceptional. They go above and beyond in every category. Here are a few of the things we appreciated: Professionalism - From our first conversation with RisherMartin, we felt as if we were dealing with true professionals. We interviewed many builders over the course of about a year without feeling like we'd found someone we could trust. As soon as we met with them, we knew we were in good hands. Communication - RisherMartin met with us in person at our home on a weekly basis and came with updated written progress of our project so we always knew what our current status was and what to expect in the coming week. We very rarely had to request information from them, but when we did have a question our calls/emails were always answered the same day (frequently within the hour). Quality - RisherMartin not only exceeded our expectations for quality on our entire project, they fixed several things we didn't even notice! Timeliness - We were expecting our first child when we began our project. RisherMartin promised us we'd be in before his arrival, and we were able to move into our new space literally the exact day they had projected for completion at the beginning of our project. Budget - RisherMartin was 100% within budget on our project. Our only over-runs were due to additional requests on our part and they were all handled immediately! We honestly have nothing but great things to say about RisherMartin, and we will most definitely use them again on our next project!! Kimberly and Bill Klein

We've worked with Erick and the EJL team to renovate both bathrooms and the kitchen- the before and…read moreafter is pretty astonishing! I feel like I've moved into a brand new house- I'm absolutely thrilled with how the renovations turned out. The first renovation we completed was the guest bathroom, we retiled all wall surfaces, replaced the vanity and added penny tile flooring. I showed Erick several ideas that I'd found online and the final result is a million times better than what I had in mind. Erick walked me through what was feasible, what he's seen in his experience that works well, and also helped me price out all additional design pieces to help determine what upgrades were worth the extra cost. For the kitchen, we opened up a wall into the living room, created a large prep/counter space with barstools, and moved the refrigerator over to where the pantry cabinet was. These changes really transformed the entire layout of the main shared areas within the house. Once everyone agreed on the design, the EJL team went to work knocking out the kitchen in record time. We replaced all flooring, counters, cabinetry, tilework, appliances, and added new lighting. We also added electricity to the new pantry/appliance cabinet and installed kidney bean shelves in the lower corner cabinets to maximize the tight space. Because we knocked out a wall, Erick ensured that the ceiling in both the kitchen and adjoining dining room was taped and floated so that the two flowed cohesively. The result of the renovation is a significantly brighter and more functional space to cook in that allows for a semi-open layout that feels as if we've  added several hundred extra square feet to the house! The master bath was a fairly extensive remodel as well- the garden tub was converted into a standing shower and everything else was pretty much gutted from top to bottom. EJL has crews that can complete a wide array of renovation work from the simple to complex. We now have a huge walk in glass shower with beautiful tilework and two hidden nooks as well as a lower ledge for shaving. We went from 1980's seashell sinks to taller shaker style cabinets with more functional (and easier to clean!) drop in sinks. We also added more mirror space, lighting, and tripled the cabinet storage. It's refreshing in today's environment to see a contractor that will follow up and be committed to his client until the job is complete. Erick was meticulous in checking all the small details- we plan on using EJL in the near future to replace our floors/trim/doors and would recommend them without hesitation.

Jake and Bobbie are meticulous, with great attention to detail and precision. They communicate better than any contractor you'll ever work with, and the quality is the best you'll find. Jake is experienced and skilled in nearly all aspects of construction work. Only thing I had to do was use a licensed electrician to reconfigure the electrical loads and install several new and dedicated circuits in the kitchen area when the area was gutted. Jake even goes an extra mile to do some things out of scope because he is that kind of guy, but if you push him out of scope, then you should reward him appropriately. He is anxious to please and works as if it is his own house. He installed an RO I had ordered in the middle of the kitchen-install and he wasn't going to charge, and he reworked some doors and did some extras here and there to give 100% quality and happiness. He's the only contractor I've ever given a bonus to at the end of the job; he was that good, 100% on time, and superb quality and a very fair price.
