I made an appt for acrylic tips a few days before. I expected them to be ready for me at that time but I had to wait about 15 mins for them to finish the person before. They were friendly, but kept speaking in a different language which I found alittle rude since it seemed as though they were talking about the girl they were working on. Also, when the lady was doing my nails, two other workers came up next to me and just hovered over me and watched while talking in a different language making me feel extremely uncomfortable... I also expected my cuticles to be cleaned & my nails filed down and even before they started the acrylics as i had not done any of this before going into the salon since i thought a salon would do this for me given that i'm paying $30 for this..Overall the nails came out nice as it was my first time doing acrylic tips, but I did not appreciate them communicating in different languages in front of the customers. This place was not cheaper then some of the other places in the area so I will be trying other salons next time. read more

Wasn't extremely bad and was not that good either. My boyfriend and I both got mani pedis. I don't think they do designs for gel manis cause when I asked the lady said no so I just settled for another color. The pedicures were nice but the lady that painted my toes didn't do a very good job and missed some unpainted sides. The lady that did my mani didn't fill in my nails all the way either and left some sides unpainted making both of their jobs looking half assed at best. Honestly the best part was the massage chair. That was damn relaxing. Overall I don't think I'll be coming back. I don't feel like my half assed gel mani and regular pedi were worth 50 bucks. I'll just continue my search for my go to nail salon. read more

My cousin and I went here because of the reviews but out nail experience was horrible. Our nails had bubbles and cracks in them and we were told its our nails and not their nail polish. Our nails were not painted evenly yet they were perfectly clean. read more

I expected more from this place because it's in such a nice area. It wasn't bad...but not great either. $30 for mani/pedi. Polish selection wasn't a whole lot. The actual salon was outdated and cluttered. You can see one technician sleeping on the waxing bed in the back. Totally not professional. 3 stars because they DID do a good job. I love this place. My mom and I have been coming here for 12 years now and we always love coming here. Though the women who work here have changed over the years they are always so kind and nice. Rose, who is the owner, is my favorite. She is so sweet and always is so happy to see me. She knows all her clients so well and is always happy to accept new clients. I moved to SF so I am not able to come here as often as I'd like, but every time I am at my parents house I try to come and get my nails done here. They do accept walk-ins but I usually call before I come because you never know how busy they are and you may sit there for but if they are busy and have appointments. They are great at what they do and the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend coming here. read more

I love Rose, Nancy and all the other girls at today's nails! My family, friends and I have been coming in to this salon for probably 10+ years... They open earlier than any other nail salon in millbrae, so it's perfect for me to pop in before work. They have a great selection of nail polishes and gel polishes! And the most comfortable massage chairs. The salon is super clean and the employees are very friendly, which is always a must! I never leave unhappy! read more

Been going here for over a year and it's gotten progressively worse. Made an appointment for a new full set, and left with globby mutant nails. I asked for coffin nails l, and instead of giving me a new set, the owner just globbed more acrylic on to make them longer. I kept reminding her of what I wanted, even showed pictures. Towards the end I showed her my index, and asked if it looked right to her. She replied "I built it up, and I don't know" then she told me she didn't have time to fix it bc there were customers waiting. WTH?! Thought I made an appointment. By far the worst customer service, and quality I've ever experienced!!! If she would've atleast told me she could fix it in a few minutes or something I would've felt like she valued my patronage. I was around the area of Millbrae and decided to get my nails done. Today's Nails are reasonably priced and they do a good job on mani/pedicures. The woman who helped me with mine took her time with my cuticles and gave me hand massages. The room smelled of chemicals but the patrons there seemed to be used to it. They have a TV available for you to watch while passing time. I don't know why it has taken me this long to find this nail and wax salon. They are meticulous, do a fantastic job and are so welcoming. The owner Rose is amazing. She waxed my legs. She did a very thorough job and it was so painless! I've never had waxing done before that didn't actually hurt and this quick. She also did my nails and they looked simply perfect. Came here just to try it out. I needed a fill. The entire time I was here, the ladies were speaking another language. Typical for a nail salon, but they didn't try to really talk to me at all. I was just waiting to get out of there the whole time. They didn't have the color I wanted, so I settled for another one because I wanted the gel. In the end, it cost me $30 for a fill. They charged for a color change too, even though you would think that's included when you get a gel fill since they have to take the color off anyway. Kind of pricey for the experience I had. I have nothing awful to say about this place, but I think I'll find another place next time. I just wasn't impressed. Period. read more

I was new in town about a year ago, and was referred to this place by a total stranger. I now go here faithfully to get my eyebrows done and Rose hooks me up every time! She does a wonderful job, listens to you and makes sure that she understands what you want before she does anything. This place is great. The women here (Rose is my favorite, but all of them are great) do a fantastic job! I recently brought my bridal party here for a pampering session the day before the wedding. I work in Millbrae and wanted to find a salon that would fit me in on my lunch break so i googled and stumbled upon Today's Nails. The ladies working in there is so nice and the owner ALWAYS fit me in and does my nails herself on my lunchbreak perfectly everytime!! I dont make appts because idk when I'm able to swing by, but she ALWAYS accomodates me! This time i got orange nails (orange!!) and they were sooo pretty. I have been to 5 different nail salons in Millbrae probably 4 or 5 times each and several in Burlingame. This nail salon is my go- to place now. My search is over. They are the cleanest of the salons I have been to on the Peninsula. I especially appreciate the disposable plastic liner used when getting a pedicure. They have been on time when I call ahead for an appointment ( Since its a small place, I prefer to call a couple days ahead to get my preferred time.) And recently I noticed they have a lot of new polishes. I dont like the other salons because a lot of old polishes, thick and gooey and then difficult to dry. The ladies here do a wonderful job for me. I get regular mani / pedis so I cant comment on the gel. And when other customers come in, they dont rush to finish my service. read more
