However, today when I picked up a pair of denim jeans, I decided to try them on. When I left the hanger and film cover in the room, thinking they could be used again by the shop, I proceeded to get a demeaning comment ("don't leave your 'trash' in the room") and attitude from the clerk. It wasn't a real big deal as these things go, and she probably doesn't think she did anything wrong. But perceptions are real, not imaginary, and do count. They are not the only game in town. Most things were from tJMaxx so pants are unlined and fabrics are not complicated or delicate. I was SHOCKED that at the prices! On top of that their communication is terrible. I told her I would think abt it and call to let her know which pair of pants to start with nc I can't pay that all at once; probably won't do it at all. When I returned to pick up my clothes, she altered all of them and handed me a bill over 100.00 dollars. Clearly a miscommunication. Her attitude was "too bad" now pay. I have sent lots of brides and bridal parties here. NO MORE! Treating people with courtsey compassion and respect will keep you in business. This type of customer disservice will not. If I could select negative stars I would.

I took some of my items here to be "altered". When I first called about setting up an appt the…read morewomen on the phone didn't seem interested in answering my questions (I had some items that needed repaired) she just kept telling me we've been in business for 40 years. (Like how dare I ask a question) FYI lady...just bc you've been doing something for 40 years doesn't make you good at it!! Anyways the day of my appt I show up and a women comes out to greet me. When she introduced herself I did as well and mentioned something about how we had spoke on the phone....she snapped back that wasn't me you spoke too! (I thought was strangely odd, because I clearly remembered her name) Moving right along, my total was over 100.00 to have my items altered fixed...not a big deal. Until they said they were "ready" to be picked up. I walk in and there's a younger women behind the counter standing there talking about her "weekend plans" with someone so I patiently waited. As I waited I realized the longer this women spoke the two clearly had a personal relationship by their conversation. I began to get annoyed because she didn't acknowledge that I (paying customer) was there at all. Finally, the other women comes out and hands me my items.... When I returned home (they had put like a plastic dry cleaning bag over them) I began to review my items. Well for starters they were COVERED!!! in dog hair. So as annoyed as I was a majority of my items were ok. One dress that needed holes repaired only had the ones in the back "done" (not the front) even though I paid to have all of them fixed. I don't know how to sew but I think I could have stitched these holes better!!!! Also one of my dresses the seam under the armpit was unfinished!!! Yeah that's right unfinished. Nothing like plunking down 100.00 for items to be fixed for them to come home in worse condition then you sent them. I tried calling a few times only to get an answering machine. I had taken photos of the dog hair all over my items and the unfinished work but after trying to get ahold of this place sorry I'm not leaving a message I deserve to speak to someone in person about the poor quality I received. I finally gave up. Avoid this place at all costs. Bad customer service and terrible work!
