I took a formal black dress in to be cleaned and then I took the dress with me to a conference. When I went to wear it the dress had shrunk, and the lining was longer than the dress. I had to cut the lining and wear the dress as a midi instead of a floorlength dress...so disappointed and the dress was ruined. If I could rate this business 0 or minus stars I would! This dry cleaner is the worst in the South Bay!!!!!! They damage your clothes and then tell you that because you are American that you must agree to their policy. WHAT THE...? This picture is my wedding dress that they turned gray and the new one next to it to compare grey vs ivory. They told me to buy a new one so they can compare the colors because they insisted it was originally grey when I brought it in. I even showed them photos of my wedding day wearing the ivory colored dress. They kept the damaged dress and said if I could prove that it was originally an ivory color they would reimburse me for the cost of the dress (204.45). In the big picture of business a very small amount. I complied with their ridiculous request and bought another dress; now I own two dresses, one damaged and one brand new. They refused to refund my money after making me jump through hoops like a circus animal. They wasted my time and money! My husband has been their customer for years and never felt their services were anything extraordinary but stated they were convenient. He confessed to me the many mishaps with cracked or missing buttons and torn shirts. I have used their services since I moved to the South Bay in April 2018 and this is the third garment badly damaged. The first two made it home before I noticed so I did nothing. I DO NOT recommend you take anything you value to be cleaned at this place of business. They do not take care of their customers and only verbally repeat their policy over and over to your face as their reason for being bad business owners. I've been going here for a few months now and have never had any problems with my dry cleaning. I've even had some shirts and pants tailored and they've come back great. Turnaround time isn't too bad. Three days for dry cleaning. I haven't used their wash and press services so I can't comment on that. The service for tailoring was quick too (I don't remember the turnaround time, sorry). Price for dry cleaning is a little higher than what I used to pay when I lived in SF, but its definitely cheaper than most in this area. I had to get a dress altered for my daughter...yes, for my daughter...How do you do that??? Ummmm with much difficulty. She's a couple of inches taller and a few pounds lighter and 40 years younger! She needed a dress since she was a bridesmaid for a wedding but was gonna be out of town and needed it to be ready when she got back...ok. I used my trusty old Yelp app and found Today Dry Cleaner. She had good reviews and was pretty close to where I was staying..so off I went. It's in a small mall on Scott Blvd...it was actually next to the mall I pulled in to so I had to "cheat" and zoom out of one driveway into the next one! Nam is the owner and I explained what I needed. She said ok and quickly set up her "dressing room"....so clever and efficient. I put on the dress and of course I'm so much fatter than my daughter I couldn't zip it up. Nam was cool. She showed me how to hold the dress so we could guestimate on the hem. She pinned it and promised it in a week. In the meantime I found out it was an outdoor wedding so I asked Nam to make it about a half inch shorter because when you walk on the grass your shoes sink in. (oh ya, I forgot to mention, the shoes she was gonna wear was about a size smaller than my feet...so that was another challenge, putting on her shoes for the fitting!) Since my review in 2010, I've been here quite a few times. The original owner has sold the business to a friend and I'm happy to report she runs a tight ship as well. Mo, if I recall her name correctly, continues to do great work on my high end coats and shirts. She gets certain marks out that I wouldn't expect to ever come out. She also offers other services here like altering your clothing, etc. I can't speak to these services as I've never tried them here, but if her cleaning prowess is any indicator, I'd expect some awesome alteration work. Tried them on, told the seamstress how long I wanted it, and I was out in less than 5 minutes. 2 days later, I come back and pick up my jeans, which came out perfect and looking great. $7 per pair (non original). By far the WORST dry cleaners I have ever been too!!! The story begins like this... This place is down the street from my work so figured why not give it a shot. Even though its a little hole in the wall. I took 5 dress shirts, 2 dresses, and 3 sweater things. He tells me that I can have them back in a few days. Fast forward a few days... I go to pick up my clothes he gives me 5 dress shirts, 1 dress, and 2 sweater things. I tell him ummm this is not all of it. He apologizes and says he forgot to tell me that the those items are going to take a little bit longer. Ok I say not thinking to much of it. I show up 2 days later as asked. He tells me he has bad news.. Someone stole the clothes!!! So what do I do now? I find the clothes online with the prices and take it back to him asking for a reimbursement of the stolen clothes. But hold on the dress and sweater which were BCBG are to much for him to reimburse me according to the contract on the back of the ticket. This is true I say but you told me that the clothes were stolen not lost. Well guess what my friends, he got his words mixed up he says because he doesn't speak english well... SURE!!!! We finally come to a agreement that I can live with, not the full amount but close enough. By this time I just wanted all this to be over. He writes me a check and asks me to do him a favor, dont cash it until Monday. Not sure why I said ok but I did. Here comes Monday time to deposit the check. Thank God I think to myself this is all over... WRONG! Bounce bounce goes the check big surprise. I go back to the cleaners the next day madder then hell. He once again says sorry and his wife didn't know and paid some bills. He then asks me to come back on Friday and he will give me cash. By this time the back and forth has gone on for over 4 weeks. Here I come back to the store on Friday he goes for his cash and starts to count it and can you freaking believe he doesn't have enough!! I wanted to pick him up and throw him across the store.
