I have taken my entire closet here!!! I've been coming here for five years - I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! Everything depends on the fit, you could be wearing the most expensive outfit if it's I'll fitting you won't look right. My measurements are not standard so I have to take pretty much everything I buy here. I have long legs, and my waist is fairly small. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my pieces. The first picture - These pants were the perfect length but way too big. She took the waist band off and made it fit my waist then reapplied. Perfect the jeans are from madewell by the way read more

I've been a client of Tiffany cleaners for several years and have been very happy with their work. At first I would drop off my clothes for dry cleaning but switched to twice a week delivery and pick up from my home (both wash and fold and dry cleaning). They've been reliable and have saved me a lot of time and energy. Highly recommend! read more

Always top quality service. For everything. Dry cleaning, alterations, shoe repair. And very nice people. :-)

This store gravely needs to work on their communication with their customers. I came in on a Sunday to get velcro sewn into my purse. I was quoted and told to come back on Wednesday for pick up. They wrote my name and number down into their system. Great, all is good. Come Wednesday, I arrived and the purse was not ready. I did not receive any phone or text about the delay. I was told they did not have velcro and needed to order more. They reassured me that it'll be ready on Friday. Ok, hopefully it is! Come Friday, I arrived and the purse was still not ready. No text or phone call was made to me. It would have certainly saved me from all the unnecessary driving. I was told to come back on Sunday. Come back a third time? No, thank you. I declined and asked for my purse back. read more

I liked to go to Tiffany cleaners to press the odd shirt because it's around the corner from my house and it has been hours than other places in the area. I just got a couple tailored blazers made during a trip abroad and I was eager to get them pressed so I could show them off. When I got the blazers back from Tiffany's, I discovered that the collars were pressed so that they were crooked. There were weird creases added to the jacket to as if someone was half-assing the ironing. I literally could have done a better job with my travel iron. So I did something I've never done before - I drove back to Tiffany's and complained. The owner on the phone ( the woman behind the counter called her) apologized and said that she personally would re-press the jackets the next day. Ok fine. So today I show up to get my jackets and they were only slightly better looking than before. Showing her photos of the way the collar should look. She tried three times but it still didn't look right. I gave up. I'm going to get them pressed at someplace other than Tiffany's Cleaners. Btw, while I was on the second or third try and fixing the collar, another customer mentioned that she was there because they screwed up her pants. read more

Take your money elsewhere! I agree with the negative reviews here. I've gone here 3x only because it's near my house. The first time my blazer came back with a gross mildew smell I've never experienced at other dry cleaners. Second time the dress pants I took didn't seem any cleaner than when I brought them there but I figured maybe they were stuck with a smell because of the type of fabric. (Which after taking to a different dry cleaner, were back to smelling fine). Third time I finally learned my lesson and never coming back! I brought in thin pants that had some dirt on the bottom and they basically look the EXACT same as before I paid the $5 to get them cleaned! Other dry cleaners in the area seem hit or miss but 3 strikes and you're out. Never going back. UPDATE: If your staff clearly showed the stain upon bringing out the pants and showed honestly and integrity instead of waiting for me to find the stains myself, it would give me more reason to believe and respect the effort. It would be incredibly disappointing bringing a pair of what should be clean pants home and discovering they look the same without an explanation of why they are still stained. UPDATE: Took my pants to a different dry cleaner and they look brand new with no issues.... wasted $5 for nothing at Tiffany's. read more

Never in my life have I had a business tell me they will not correct their mistake. As a returning customer spending over $500 in the past, they butchered a few of my paint for alteration. I had pants where the I could not put my hands in the pockets because they did such a poor job. As I showed the owner of the different sizings and other errors, she tried to explain that they are that way because Hugo Boss and Calvin Klein made it that way. I could not believe what she was trying to say to me so I said, "just fix my pants." She says, "no, get out." So I left. Absolutely the worst thing a customer service representative can do is deny a customer the right to complain and request correction. The owner spoke to me this way. Zeros star business practiced here! read more

Worst place ever do not bring your clothes here. My husband dropped off a suit and dress shirt . Picked it up and it was stain marks all over it that look like iron burns. The owner who wasn't on site at the time but was texted the pictures spent 30 mins arguing about it and being extremely rude. The owner finally offered to cover the cost of replacing the shirt if we bought the exact same one and showed her the receipt which we did and texted her the same day the receipt. The owner said to pick up the money for the shirt the following day when she would be in the shop and leave the damaged shirt. Went to the shop the next day and she refused the money she agreed to provide to cover the shirt and insisted I take the original shirt back cause she "fixed it" . She was again extremely rude called me a liar about the shirt even though she saw the pictures and made the offer to replace just the day before and the shirt was left at her shop as requested. So now I'm out an extra $50 I spent on a new shirt trusting that she would honor her word an d she didn't. read more

DO NOT COME HERE! My experiences here was a complete nightmare! I would give it negative stars if I could. I had been looking for a tailor to tailor a bridesmaid dress, and decided to give this place a try. When I first went to the cleaners, a younger girl who was working there asked me to try on the dress and took a look at the changes I needed, and gave me an estimated quote of $70 with an additional 10% discount. However, she told me that she wasn't the tailor and that I would have to come back again to get the tailor to look at it again for a more accurate look and quote. When I came back again, the tailor was there and asked me to try on the dress so she can see what changes I needed. At first everything seemed normal, however, as she started to measure out how much she needed to take in, my mom suddenly noticed that she was marking my dress from the back (and I couldn't see what she was doing). When we took a closer look at the markings she made, she had marked my light teal dress with RED WAX CHALK. Are you serious? It was super visible, and I immediately asked her to remove the markings as I was only asking her for a quote, and had not expecting her to start making permanent markings on my dress. Please learn to know what a "quote" is if you don't know what that means. After I asked her to remove the markings, she started coming up with excuses like "oh don't worry we'll take it in so you won't see them" and "once we fix it we'll dry clean and press it and you won't see it anymore." That's great, but my problem is that I never asked you to start marking up my dress with RED CHALK when I was only asking you to provide a rough estimate. She then started to use rubbing alcohol and started rubbing the red marks really hard on my chiffon dress, which is a very delicate material. I was so scared that she was going to ruin the fabric of my dress. In the end, she couldn't remove the markings and kept saying "it'll come out once we press it." I then told her that I wasn't sure if I wanted to get my dress tailored here, but wanted her to fix the red markings, and she said that normally they would charge $75 to press the dress, but she can give me a discount. Lady, are you kidding me? You permanently damaged and stained my dress, and now you want me to pay to fix your mistakes? I don't think so. Even after arguing with her for 5 minutes about this, she said she was going to press the dress for me for $25. This is after she was planning to charge me over $120 to tailor the dress ($50 more than what her coworker told me). I walked out feeling beyond frustrated and flustered not knowing what to do. With the wedding coming up, I didn't have time to order a new dress. I ended up taking my dress to Le Caprice for tailoring, and they offered to help me steam it to try to take off the marks. However, that didn't work. I then took it to a different dry cleaner who worked on the dress, and tried to clean it TWICE, and still couldn't get the marks out of my dress. Thanks to this place, I have a over $200 stained dress that I ended up tailoring due to time constraint and I haven't even worn it yet. This place is not worth the trouble. I highly recommend going to Le Caprice for tailoring since they actually know what they are doing instead of these people. At this point, I wouldn't trust their cleaning service either. Trust me, just go somewhere else unless you want to try taking a risk (and might not even be saving any money). read more

I asked to replace the broken zipper on jean. It was late to pick up so I have to drive to another place for picking up and I found the horrible finish touch. Uneven zipper line and front jean bottoms -now jean makes a "funny little open hole" when I wear. What a waste of time and money($18)!!! *** omg...You and (or) your staffs should be honest *** Your staff "never" mention about replace. Staff who worked in el Camino location talked about another alteration location to pick up(You were 'already late your pre-arranged date' at the moment. Your staff even asked me stop by next Monday. So I ask her just give back my pant. But she said I could pick up at another alteration place. So I went to there. Thank you so much for another trip!!!) And another staff near by new target location just only handed out my pant with new zipper and I said, I am in hurry because of my kid's pick up time- I didn't have a time to check it closely (or found out what was happened) and talk about my pants' (replace) when I stopped by. omg!!! read more

I have been a regular of Tiffany Cleaners for awhile now but after my recent experience with them, I will never go back for their service. Recently, they adopted a new system where they would place barcodes/stickers/labels on your garments without your consent. They use these barcodes to keep track of your garments. Unfortunately, these labels are quite permanent and try as you might, you will not be able to get them off without the risk of damaging your garments. Initially, I spoke with Ann on 05/19/2017 who works the front counter; I explained the situation and my desire for these unwanted barcodes to be removed. She was quite understanding and agreed to have the labels removed and my garments refinished (dry cleaned and pressed) since I did not wear them yet. Today, I received a phone call from her manager and owner of Tiffany Cleaners, Kyan. Without a hello, his first words to me, "why do you not like the labels." My thought was, oh this is Tiffany's Cleaners and why would anyone want permanent Tiffany Cleaner's labels on their garments...but I responded by telling him that I simply do not want them because I do not like them and have never asked for them. Even so, that wasn't a good enough reason for him. His response, "don't make a big deal, they are not conspicuous." After hearing that, I patiently attempt to explain to him that they are conspicuous because I noticed them, they are placed on all six garments, and they have even been placed on the brand logo. After realizing that they have indeed been placed on the brand logo, he agreed to remove that specific barcode but not the others. So I asked him why he would not remove the other barcodes? His response, "dont talk to me like I'm a child, I don't care to fix your garments, come pick them up." Limited to what else I could say, I told him that as a regular customer, I am asking you to remove the barcodes that you have placed on my garments. He then responses, "are you threatening me?" Long story short, he eventually agrees to try to remove the barcodes but when I went to pick up the garments today, they were damaged and were not refinished. Honestly, this has been quite the bitter experience and a quick reminder that there is not much we can do as customers, other than to voice our concerns. read more

They are just liar, when I pick up my clothes and my scarf, my clothes and my scarf smell so bad! I told him, he just told me"honestly, I can not smell anything, but I will redo it" ok! It's ok to do things wrong, but it's like my nose's fault? What the fuck? Ok, I let him redo, it smell still like a shit! And the girl in the front desk, she could smell it too. But the boss, he lied again. I am so disappointed at this store. I will never go back again such a shit store! Liar! Ok! I have to catch up flight this afternoon! I cannot bring it back! You said I am a liar? Excuse me!? I have checked the reviews, a lot of customer has the same complaint as me. The reason I put perfume cos it is so smelly, I want to wear my scarf when I am in London! But even if I put my perfume, it's still smelly, so I called you! I have been your places for many times, because I think your sevice is good. But things happened, you didn't not admit your fault but blame me. Interesting store and manager. And that's my new cashmere scarf and sweater, the coat is old and I admit, but old does not mean any smell. You can put the video, I don't care. It's your business, it's your way to manage your store, and a cleaner store doesnt care customers' clothes, that's ironic. And I told you, if you put a video to defame me, I will ask everybody on the street if they can smell it. And I will contact the other customers who has the same issues. read more

This owner is the epitome of a BULLY! I hope he threatens and then post the video of me in his shop! Apparently he likes to call his customers liars and never take responsibly. MY CLOTHES SMELL HORRIBLE AND THE OWNER WAS INCREDIBLY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. Like many of the other reviews here, I took my clothes in, got them back and they smelled absolutely horrible. I took them back and kindly asked if they could re-clean them. I was told by the male employee that there was no smell at all....he went through each piece of clothing, about 20 pieces in all telling me that there was no smell. I hadn't returned my clothes because there was no issue, there was clearly an issue. I felt so disrespected by the male employee! I couldn't believe he was challenging me when I had a very simple request. I returned the clothes on the hangers they gave me, perfectly pressed, I hadn't worn them and was not trying to pull a fast one but that is exactly how he tried to make me feel!!! Luckily, my mom was in the car waiting for me, I called her into the store after a few minutes if being told there is something wrong with me, not my clothes. My mom agreed that the clothes smelled horrible. The man finally told me that he would clean them again but that they didn't smell. I told him to forget it and that I wasn't interested in giving my clothes back to him!!! I asked for a refund so I could take my stuff somewhere else since I paid $140 for my cleaning. HE DECLINED ME A REFUND. I too will be contacting the BBB and filing a claim with them! DO NOT GO HERE! read more

You will be shocked at how bad the customer service is here. Seriously, it's horrendous. My wife took her scarf and sweater here to dry clean. However both of them got a really bad smell after we picked up. I wish we didn't visit this place. When she talked with the owner about this. Woaaahhh! What's with the attitude? Let's see what he said: 1. "I will challenge you that I'm not a liar and it's the other way around and that our clothes does not smell." Challenge us? excuse me? what are you challenging for? You said you are not a liar, who cares? You are just a worst merchant. 2. "If you bring back the clothes immediately, we can ask random people if your clothes smells as you stated. If yes, I will pay you for your clothes. " Really? If we bring back the clothes immediately? how about if you immediately close your mouth and accept the truth? Ask random people? pay us for our clothes? Really? do you really want to be a nice guy and pay our clothes if it smells? Look what you have said in the comment, please don't make me laugh. Is that how you lie to other people? How about this we can ask random people if our clothes smells. If yes, close your store, create a youtube video and admit you are a liar? It looks like you are really good at it. 3. So here is his story: "Here is exactly how it goes. You picked up your clothes and the first thing you wanted was a refund because your coat was not pressed straight at the elbow crease. So you called and said that your clothes smells which I ask you to bring it in. When you came in, your clothes did not have any smells other than your perfume. I stated to you we will redo it again. You asked me to do it right away the same day as you have to leave for London early in the morning. I told you I cannot do it again the same day and that it will be done by tomorrow 10am the soonest. Now it's after noon and you came in to pick up, so I'm not sure if we are lying or you are as you mentioned you have a flight to catch. Ohh, thank you for summary these, so we don't need to write. a. If anyone get their clothes with this nasty smell, shouldn't they get a refund or re clean their clothes? Do we ask anything over than that? Oh! Maybe in your mind, people should always not fight against you or take whatever you say to them. b. My wife's flight is 7:30 from SFO to london for UA930. Do you need more details? You can call UA to confirm. Our previous plan is she need to go to the company in the morning and directly head to airport after work. That's why we want the clothes in same day. Sorry we hide the truth. I'm really sorry about that if that hurts you. please, please, don't feel bad. Should we tell you our flight is 7:30 and pick up clothes at 7:29? will that make you feel better? 4. "You also mentioned that my staff said it smells but according to the video, she told you it does not smell."I will post the video on YouTube and will post a link to this review shortly. Another lie from you." Please! please do! show us the video. Thank you 5. "So if I may ask you who is actually lie or a liar. You spoke to me and ask me for the refund in which I knew this was the case but again." What? what's the case? I don't understand? Do we really care about the refund? Let me teach you: When a customer angry with your service, in most cases we are more angry about your attitude. You get it? Here is a good tutor video: [How to Handle Customer Complaints Like a Pro] https://youtu.be/kx7-S9jvVXM 6. "Here is your chance to get new clothes. Please bring it in immediately and then we can sort this out. " Listen it! This is our chance! Our final chance! for the new clothes! OMG!!!! bring it in immediately!!! Wow. Who are you? I'm so scared! I won't meet you before we find a lawyer. Oh! I just notice you accidentally delete your comment. Don't worry I attached below in case you need it. No thanks. read more

ATTENTION PLAZA CLEANERS TRANSFER CLIENTS-Do not waste your time/money at this establishment. This place doesn't hold a candle to what Plaza cleaners was or their business ethics. You will regret utilizing Tiffany Cleaners. Let the reviews speak for themselves. I used Plaza for quite some time. My suit separates, pants, shirts and accessories were always perfectly pressed, starched and typically ready for early pickup. Not Tiffany Cleaners. I gave TC three good chances at establishing a good business to client relationship with me. They failed miserably every single time. Never once were my shirts starched appropriately. Their "starch bath" clearly doesn't work properly and my clothes are never how I've always received them back from other reputable cleaners. Some of my shirts have come back with an odd smell, as described by many reviewers. The smell was of a musky mildew sort; like the clothes were washed in poorly cleaned water. Or as if they sat around wet too long. I've never had any issues anywhere else using my card for purchases at any establishment. Being in the Bay Area and so close to SF, where technology is booming, and having to only use cash under a certain purchase amount screams 'greed'. It's not our fault you don't want to pay the VISA/MC/CC fees for each swipe for clients who don't meet your "$ requirements". The behavior and pure neglect of customer service by the "manager" and his ridiculous responses to bad reviews will leave a sour taste in EVERY readers mouth. He is always Quick to pass the blame; yet NEVER addresses the main issues at Tiffany Cleaners-Staff behavior towards clients, poor cleaning/starch procedures and overall business ethics from client start to finish. Take your business elsewhere. Never have I seen such defiance in the face of constructive criticism by a business from their clients. Anywhere. Ever. read more

I really wish I had actually believed the reviews and didn't come here out of convenience. I had a few sweaters and jacked dry cleaned. All costing over $70 and it was a complete waste of money. No. Just...no. Three visits, all of them just... stupid. I had to come here because their sister store Plaza cleaners went belly up. I dropped the shirts off at THAT location on Thursday, and on Saturday they had closed shop. Seriously?! I had to go pick up my stuff at Tiffany cleaners which made me pay cash because I was not in their system. THEN I drop off new shirts and requested medium starch. I pick up my stuff and there was No starch, and wrinkles to boot. Then I drop off another set of shirts and requested medium starch AGAIN and that they please put this on the ticket. " Oh, all the tickets say no starch" She didn't write anything down when I told her what I wanted. Okay... Went to pick it up and I was 40 minutes early. Shirts are not done yet. I get it. They have 40 min left...but you are going to do my 4 shirts in 40 min? Went a few days later... and had to pay cash to meet their $10 minimum. WTF you guys?! My total is $9. Really?! Clerk pointed at an 8x10 sign amongst the mess of the store... not sure why my eye didn't gravitate right to that boring sign. And above everything else...NO. EFFING. STARCH. She was gracious to allow me to pay with a card, why thank you! I only paid for a service I did NOT receive. These people are incompetent, lack attention to detail that has been pointed out to them MORE than once, and don't care that you are inconvenienced. They also offer wedding dress preservation... I would never recommend them to anyone for a basic shirt press let alone a garment as precious as that. This place is an absolute JOKE!!! UPDATE: Since I just wrote my review minutes ago, I received a wonderful backhanded response from the business. Various comments were made about being frustrated and the manner in which I wrote my review. I was not emotional, I picked my items up a day or so ago. I have had time to reflect and despite my attempts to communicate and give the business a chance, they have fallen short. I never mentioned a language barrier because I did not think THAT was appropriate or even an issue! This was not appropriate to bring it up in the response. And PLEASE don't paint the sob story about the bay area being expensive we all live here, WE GET IT!! With three attempts at giving your business a chance, the review I gave was well deserved. Accept it, learn from it, move on. I will gladly give you an extra star for moxie, it's only honorary though. But you will know, and I will know. Much like the starch on my shirts...it's there... sort of... read more

This guys is so passive aggressive.. Kyan plays the victim card and writes a scathing response, takes it down, then write one that make is seem like he is the victim. Remember Kyan ranted about Corporate Policies etc. in the first review... I never threatened legal action, just some progress and now he is claiming defamation and use of lawyers... This is his passive aggressive game... it's always been about his attitude... you can only imagine how his yelling tone was and circular talk about dyes, stitching (how he could take the shirt apart and sew it together again), how the shirt is not supposed to be dry cleaned, it's the manufacturer's fault, take the $5, 10x fee, 10% of something else, corporate policy etc... he claims he offered something - which one is it? I hate the permanent tags!!!! They never even asked me if it's okay! I can't get them off! And they will ruin your clothes if you try. They won't take the yelp check in coupon if you bring in bulk because they say you already have a $5 discount for spending over $50. It's a shame because I want to bring in bulk but I don't save more, just the same if you use the yelp check in. I needed a place to get my bridesmaid dress (two layers) hemmed, and I only had three weeks, and I had an amazing experience with this place. The staff here are all very nice and professional, and the place is nice and has a small dressing room as well. I was stressed out about having it hemmed too short, so I just went with the boss's suggestion so my feet didn't show. They completed it in just a few days, and when I came back to try it on, it was too long and dragging on the floor a bit too much. I think had it hemmed a little bit more and then stressed out some more about hemming it too short. Again, they finished in just two days, and when I came back, it was perfect and just the length that I wanted. The dress touched the ground perfectly, and it was very well done. I was also impressed that not only did they hem my dress, they steamed it and made it very straight as well. My friend got her dress hemmed somewhere and it came back super wrinkly. The price was reasonable, and remember to check in on Yelp for 10% off! :) I'll definitely come back here next time I need something hemmed! read more

Just realized they put barcodes on the items that I had dry cleaned. It seems to be glued on and from the previous reviews will leave a mark after the barcode label is removed. Went back today and asked them to remove the barcode because I was having a hard time taking if off myself. Basically I was told they are permanent, they cannot remove it and it is on the inside, so no big deal. I also asked in the future can they not put a barcode label on, and I was told no. I understand how the barcode can be useful to track items. But they should not be permanent nor leave a mark on the fabric when removed. The last thing I want on my suit with super 150 fabric is a barcode, even if it is on the inside. Will look for another cleaner. read more

I dropped off 12 items here and was able to get most of them cleaned for under $100. Quality was good as well. However I'm going to step up on my soap box and complain a little. I say most of them because when I picked up my things today they had not cleaned my faux leather jacket. They explained this was because I had cut out the tag so they were unsure if it was real. However, I told the woman that I dropped these items off with that my jacket was not real leather. When the man at the store came out and spoke to me about it, he checked the system and saw that it was documented that the jacket was faux leather. Now I need to go back to pick up the jacket tomorrow. When I asked why he did not call to clarify, he said he was busy today. I then asked for a discount for my inconvenience and he gave me a whopping $5 off of the total $25 for the jacket. Service recovery/troubleshooting is not their strong suit, but I'll take the compliment that my faux leather jacket was so convincing as real leather. read more

Thank you for letting me know what the issue was. I can understand being short staffed.

Thrifted a vintage wool coat and was super excited to wear it. Coat was in great condition, with exception to the smell, a scratch along one part of the suede near the shoulders, and the knowing that it has been worn many times by others. Tiffany's is close to my workplace, so I figured I could drop it off during lunch and pick up the next day. However, I was a bit hesitant in bringing it in. I noticed several yelp reviews regarding the tagging with the stickers, so I was concerned about the residue that may potentially be left behind. So I brought it up when I got in. I mentioned my concern to the guy at the front and he said they have a separate tag for those who don't want it stuck on their clothing. Yes! I called again after dropping off the coat as I forgot to mention that I didn't want the wool starched (bad for the fibers), and the lady who answered said to not worry, she wouldn't do that to wool. She also remembered me and mentioned that she cannot can't guarantee the removal/repair of the suede portion of the coat, which I said I understand, and if it was going to damage the leather, don't do it. I picked up my jacket today after work today, and I could feel and see the difference in the coat! Best part, the scratch was practically gone! My coat literally looks brand new. Will definitely come back of I have other items to get dry cleaned. Thank you!!! read more

I definitely don't recommend coming here. I made the worst mistake by trusting Tiffany dry cleaners with my expensive clothing. I recently gave a brand new $268 white dress to get cleaned and it was returned grey. I gave the dress back to an employee hoping they could just fix it and gave my number for the manager to contact me. Five days went by without contact so I go to pick up my dress and it is in the exact same condition . It is very frustrating on my end because I gave two dresses of the same exact fabric and color to them and one was returned in perfect condition while the other was returned grey. The employee said the manager was too busy to call me and that some dresses change color as a result of the fabric it's made so basically it's my fault. I'd really like to know how it's the fabrics fault when I have two dresses of the same color and fabric and only one was returned damaged. Never coming back here again this is the third time they've changed the color of one of my clothing items. On top of that I was charged a 13$ cleaning fee for them turning my dress grey. Absolutely terrible costumer service. Please beware of this place if you hold high value to your personal belongings read more

This place is awful! I took my clothes in the middle of the day during the week and was told they would be open until 7pm it is lie! They closed and not only they closed following day which is not a weekend or holiday. I didn't get my items for my trip so I had no coat, pants, other items. I was suppose attend a dinner party in Seattle and now I have nothing to wear to this joyous day. The response by phone! Do not do business with them and currently thinking about taking legal up legal options against this place! Again your clothes will not be ready! Do not depend on this business! Zero accountability and responsibility! Price of my plane ticket and accommodations, along everything I was out of $1500 dollars. read more

This place is an absolute scam! I gave 10 pieces to them for dry cleaning and it came untouched, full of wrinkle and stained back !!! This is an absolute mess, and they charged me for $100! I'm wondering what was I charged for when they didn't even iron my items read more

When my wife came to pick up 2 sweaters after she dropped them off for dry cleaning, she noticed a very disgusting smell, not sure if this place used a wrong chemical or not. Another customer behind her also smelled it and agreed about this very unpleasant smell. She wanted this to be fixed, and talked to the manager on the phone. To her surprise, instead of an apology or even just acknowledging the situation, the manager hinted that it's her body odor that caused the clothes to smell like this, and said that "of course everyone will deny they have an odor" when she disagree with the manager's comment. The manager than sarcastically said she must "smell very nice." When the the customer behind her learned about the situation, she said to my wife that she is a nurse and she knows that this disgusting smell is not human odor. She even gave my wife her phone number if needed. To make a long story short, Tiffany did try to wash the clothes again after my wife kept asking the manager and the staff to do it (I am surprised that the manager did not offer to do this in the first place). The manager offered to be in the store the next day to talk to my wife when she comes to pick the clothes, which of course, he did not show up. The sweater's smell did improve by a little bit, and since she is frustrated and have very little confidence in the store about fixing her sweater, she just gave up. I smelled the sweaters, and almost vomited, and wondered how much worse it must have been after the first wash. I took the sweater to another dry cleaning, and the staff there said that she had another customer who also needed her to remove this smell from Tiffany on all of her clothing (9 pieces). I just picked up the sweater today, and luckily, the smell are gone. We definitely will avoid this place at all cost in the future. To the manager who is reading this, the least you can do is to apologize instead of defending your store. read more

My only 2 requirements for dry cleaners are: 1. Do a great job at dry cleaning clothes. 2. Be open on time. So its about 3PM and I just got back from Tiffany's... and they were closed! I thought they were open until 4PM on Saturdays so I made my way over there with a bag full of clothes. I totally get that sometimes you get "slow" days but at the very least, put a sign up! It even said on their window that they were open until 4PM today. Super bummed. read more

Haven't been back but Bar codes still leaving a bad taste in my mouth... who freaken gave permission to Tiffany"s to put those stupid bar codes on. Then these smart people put it in the size....Finding a new cleaner as they put stupid bar codes on all my labels and covered the size. I'm a woman and my weight fluctuates between size 2 & 6. Now it takes forever to get ready. I dread going into my closet because of what they did with that freaking barcode. If I'm in a hurry and pick the wrong size pants and don't put they back carefully then that dry cleaned garnet gets all wrinkled. WTF....putting that barcode over the sizes is the stupidest thing they could of done. I can't stand this cleaners now. They suck a$$ for this move. Before this some clothes were coming back with spots that I could overlook but covering the sizes on my labels is the last straw! read more

Tiffany Cleaners - WTF...So annoyed that they put this bar code tag on the label right over where the size is displayed. takes long in AM to get dressed now! - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Santa Clara, California

Had a couple of my suits taken in for dry cleaning but they came back smelling awful. I don't have body odor so all the items that I took in were fairly clean but I just took them in as a routine care. When I took them back to the cleaners they refused that they smelled anything but offered to get the suits cleaned again. Sure that would fix things but don't discredit a customer's complaint to the services. Not to mention that when I took off the plastic my suits came with, one of the sleeves had fur all over it as if it was hung next to a furry garment. This particular issue was not a big deal because it's nothing a lint roller can't fix, but that just sums up how they handle the items and much they care about their products before they get sent out. I refused to get them cleaned again at the same place because I didn't want to risk more of my time being wasted and didn't trust their services. Dry cleaning is such a basic but significant service at a cleaners and they have failed miserably. **Update The 2 stars I had initially gave was only because the owner had offered to redo the dry cleaning, and refunded when it still had the awful stench the second time around. Mind you, the suits I gave them to dry clean were already fairly clean- per my initial review. I am updating this review to a 1 star (I would give a 0 if I could) after the owner's response. Not only did the owner argue his way out of admitting fault, he also claims that he is not discrediting our complaint, but continues to deny the complaint itself. If you're not discrediting us by telling us that we're wrong/lying, then what is? I also would like to mention the disrespecting behavior when we told the owner of the stench, the owner shook his head muttered something about the complaint being a "headache". To add on to the poor service, the owner decides to post a youtube video of the surveillance camera broadcasting the whole transaction, claiming that it proves of the "no stench". This proves nothing but the lack of professionalism in their business ethics and proper utilization of a SECURITY camera. This is the worst customer service you can ever get at a cleaners or any type of business for that matter. Please read other reviews as well for reference as to why you should avoid this awful business which is what I honestly should have done in the first place before I wasted time and energy. Furthermore, I will be contacting the BBB. read more

This place is okay at most. They definitely overcharge you for the wash & fold service - 2.5 dollars per pound. Usually the acceptable price would be 1-1.5 dollars per pound. Also when they weight your wash & fold laundry, the process is definitely not transparent - they will you bring your clothes to the back and I didn't even see how they weight them. I was actually really surprised that this little clothes could weight that many pounds. One suggestion is that do that in front of the customers. They had a decent price for dry cleaning though. I dropped off stuff Friday afternoon and didn't get it back the next Monday afternoon. They probably turned off their machines on the weekends but as far as know, other places would have been faster on the weekends. I definitely did not have as much of a pleasant experience here compared to other places in the Bay Area. Probably they will be faster on weekdays but I'm not sure. One thing I found it weird is that they offer you two payment options - to pay it when you drop off your stuff or pay it when you pick up. I chose to pay when I pick up my stuff. Basically if you check-in on Yell, you can get 10% off so I've already checked in when I drop off my stuff, so I was expecting to get a discount of 10% when I pick up. However, they told me my previous check-in doesn't count when I showed them that I indeed checked in last time. He was saying that I need to check in every time I'm here to get a discount LOL. If I had paid at the beginning, then I still would have needed to check in when I pick up?? And the woman at the reception did tell me that I could still get a 10% off and use the same coupon even if I didn't prepay. I just found this very interesting. read more
