Had fesenjan. Good price for what you're getting. But the flavor is not so strong. It needed a little bit more molasses

Tried this Peruvian restaurant. The food is good. Ordered lamb shank with dizi Pros: Lamb shank - large portion, rice was seasoned nicely and the lamb was super tender and fall off the bone. Dizi - appreciated the bone marrow in some of the bone pieces. The stew was great is flavor. The meat is fall off the bone. It contained other ingredients that made it nice and filling Naan - fluffy and soft especially when eaten warm Grateful that the hot peppers were on the side Cons: Service - the staff are nice. However, there was nobody serving the front, all employees were in the back/kitchen area. We noticed some of the guests sitting for dine in had not been served. When there were more people picking up food or ordering take out, the flow was delayed. Ok: Salad - regular garden salad with a ceasar sauce Overall: 4/5 - better to order ahead of time and pick up

This is one of my all time favourite Persian restaurants. The food quality is amazing. Super fresh and tasty. Portions are very generous. It may be a bit more expensive than other places but well worth it. Also their yoghurt sauce is absolutely amazing!

Empty plates because it was so goood !!

I give them 5 stars for their service, food and attitude! It was one of the best kababs we have had in Toronto and their service was also great. Very nice people. I ordered torsh kabab which was awesome, zeytoon parvande was also tasty. Definitely will be back

Salari. Two skewers, rice, roasted veggies, side salad. Must try! I put my utensils there for scale/size reference.

Found this spot through a sponsored post for Uber eats. I've been trying different shawarma and kabab restaurants in the area and this is one of my top picks! I'm surprised that there aren't that many reviews for this restaurant, so I wanted to share my experience. It was so good, we had to order it again the next day. We ordered late night; after 11pm the first time (it was long weekend, don't judge us, lol). We ordered again the following day for around 6pm for dinner because my bf enjoyed it so much (and we didn't have the chance to do our groceries yet). Food quality was consistent. The meat was so tender and juicy (beef and chicken). We ordered the salari which is in my picture. It comes with rice (or naan). One beef skewer and one chicken leg skewer. It also comes with roasted tomatoes and chili's. Included was a side salad (fresh/crisp lettuce, tomato and cucumbers) with dressing. There was also a pack of butter (not sure for what to be honest), sumac spice powder and a good size serving of a type of tzatziki sauce/dip. The portion is massive in my opinion. Can definitely make 2 good sized meals out of this. Maybe even 3 if you portion smaller. The other thing I really appreciated it that the food is packed in a foil container/tray. Tightly packed to avoid spillage and the food stays nice and hot even if it's being delivered! I can't wait to order other items from their menu and will definitely order again.

I've ordered from Tochal twice now, didn't leave a review the first time because it was just great, and I thought it could be pure luck! Second time order, it's Exceptional! A great persian food spot, where prices are great, packaging is also great, the sides and other add-ons you get on a plate are nice and delicious, portions are big and filling, and most of all, it's YUMMY! Sultani, Salari, Koubideh, Zaytoun Parvarde, Baghali polo, Dough...these are some of the items i've tried, and they all score a good 10/10 Great choice

Walking in, we were greeted with a smile. The interior of the restaurant was spacious with a private feel since they had areas sectioned off from one another. We ordered the Japchae (5/5), Boneless Yangnyum Galbi (4/5), Pork Belly (4/5). Japchae was delicious with a hint of smokey flavour to it. The noodles were chewy and complemented well with the savoury flavours of bulgogi. The vegetables added a nice crunch to every bite. The mushrooms added a chewy and fun texture to the dish. Boneless Yangnyum Galbi was so tender. Its marinade was on the sweet side which we weren't really a fan of but we still enjoyed the dish. Pork Belly was also tender. It was thinly sliced which was quite a let down since we typically prefer pork belly sliced a bit thicker. The BBQ we ordered came with two bowls of rice and lettuce (non-refillable), ssamjang and sesame oil with black pepper and salt for dipping, and some side dishes that were refillable: kimchi, bean sprouts, cucumbers and sweet potato. The overall quality of the ingredients, especially the meats, were great. It was pretty telling how much the cooks enjoyed prepping and cooking the dishes. This place is on the pricier side which is reasonable for the quality of their food. The portions are also reasonable for their price-points. I'd come back on a special occasion and/or when I'm craving japchae. The servers we had were attentive, checking in every so often to clear our dishes and change our grills.

The meat was really flavourful and well-seasoned, and they've got a big variety of cuts to choose from. I also liked that they've also got veggie options and other sides that make the meal feel balanced. The ambience is really nice too, kind of chill but still lively, and they've got these cute lights outside. Service was great, the staff were super kind and really quick to help us out whenever we needed something. It's a little on the pricier side, but honestly that's pretty standard for Korean BBQ, and the quality here makes it worth it. Easily in my top 3 Korean BBQ spots in Mississauga.

My workplace is a five-minute drive to this eatery. It occupies the space that was Starbucks. When I walked in, I could still spot subtle reminders of this cafe, from the baked goods display when you place your order, to the Starbucks green upholstery. The Burger Alley did a great job adding its own design flair to it. I especially liked the zen rocks and shrubs. I like that there are more Halal burger joints popping up around my workplace. A decade ago, Burger Factory was the lone eatery. It's nice that there's competition, which includes Gladiator Burger and Steak, Chainsmoker Urban Barbeque, and now, The Burger Alley. This place accepts debit and credit cards. I never have cash on me, so I don't know about its acceptance. For burgers, it offers beef and chicken. So far, I have only done beef because it is excellent and I crave it. One of these days, I'll go with a chicken burger. My burger of choice is the Avada Kebabza beef burger. It's yummy! The beef in this burger was delicious. It was so juicy that at one stage, the juices were dripping down my left hand to my wrist. The bun was soft and toasted. It tasted like a potato bun. The lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, and pickles were so fresh. The beef bacon was so good. Halal. Yummy. I also got caramelized onions and sautéed mushrooms. If you like cheese, this place splurges on real cheddar and swiss cheese slices. The pickle slices are perfectly tangy and crunchy. I love the coleslaw. It was crunchy and enjoyable. The fries were excellent. They were crispy and had the best masala seasoning. Even with the most garlicky mayo on top, these fries remained crispy from start to finish. I was impressed. This place has a decent selection of pop. I've tried a lot of drinks here. Diet Coke. Crush grape and cream soda. For an exotic change-up, I tried a Salaam Cola. It's yummy. It's got a milder cola taste than Coke or Pepsi. I liked the can's design. There were two gender-neutral washroom stalls. I used one when I got there and just before I left the eatery. It was clean and nicely maintained. It's an excellent burger joint. Its original location is in Scarborough. I'll need to visit it someday. In the meantime, it's nice that I can grab a burger for lunch when I'm in the office and be content. (65)

I was so excited to find a spot closer, since they recently opened a second location. When I tell you the first thing I do when landing from a flight is go home and straight to the shower, you gotta know that this spot must be special because I did a detour on my way home and stopped here first for a bite. I couldn't make it to their grand opening but I was so glad that it's only 10 minutes from the airport. The burgers are amazing and one bite is all it took to remind me that they were just as good as I remember them to be last time I had it. I also added some alley fries and a salaam cola to the order this time, but I don't like the garlic sauce used for the fries though the seasoning is perfect. The burgers are hands down my favourite and I'm totally coming back often. I love that you can choose from so many different options and they've got multiple chicken burger options too.
