Although I have submitted a formal complaint, I have yet to receive a simple apology or return of deposit. There were other members of PYC present who witnessed the interaction in it's entirety and found it to be unprofessional and rude. It doesn't matter how nice the venue when the people in charge have NO CLUE how to conduct business with respect and professionalism!! We've had our boat at this marina for over 15 years, and unfortunately, the condition of the…read morepremises has continued to decline year after year. The security gate is constantly broken, the docks are filthy, parking areas are littered with leaves and trash, and weeds are severely overgrown. There are abandoned boats with trash piled on top of them, and garbage stacked along dock walls -- it's honestly unacceptable. Despite numerous complaints, we're always told that something will be done, that they're working with boat owners to clean up and register boats. But when we return, nothing has changed. There's been frequent turnover with the harbormaster, and each new person seems to care less than the last. The current harbormaster is especially rude and dismissive of concerns. Meanwhile, they continue to raise our fees every year with no improvements in return. We've stayed this long simply because the location is convenient for us -- but it's time for us to leave. Every year the conditions get worse. On our dock, only 5 or 6 boats remain, even though there's space for 20-30. That alone speaks volumes. We do NOT recommend renting a slip here.

We've rafted twice more with All-Outdoors since my last review - Goodwin Canyon in October 2022,…read moreand then Middle Fork American River again this past month (both 1-day trips). The last time we rafted Middle Fork American was on a cold, gloomy, drizzling day in October 2019 - so we had to give it another go in warmer weather. This time around was just as memorable. Two of us in the boat ended up falling out in the water at Tunnel Chute, which happened so fast that I barely knew what had happened - thankfully, there was a nice calmer stretch of water right after through the river tunnel, so we were easily able to get back into the raft. (Thank you to our guide, Troy, for hauling me back in, and for being an awesome guide in general!) Plus this was one of the photographer spots, so the action was all captured for us to laugh about later. Later, after our tasty sandwich picnic lunch, we had a few unexpected events happen, starting from the portage down Ruck-a-Chucky Falls. Shout-out to all three guides in our group - Troy, Shea, and AJ - for handling things so calmly and getting us all back where we were supposed to be! We had plenty of calm stretches floating down the river as well. The canyon is beautiful and quite peaceful. We saw a ton of dragonflies flying above our heads, masked ducks chilling on rocks and diving underwater, and wild grapes and blackberries growing alongside the river. We'll be back again for another trip with All-Outdoors! Maybe we'll try a 2-day or 3-day trip next time.

We have a couple go-to spots that are never busy even on a 110 degree Saturday during the summer & always have prime glass for skiing. I've gotten sick after wiping out & swallowing a mouthful of water, so I recommend bringing a bottle of Pepto for said wipe outs. Gross? You betcha, but even with this yuck factor, I still love the Delta. People are super friendly out here- always saying hi & waving. I'm not sure why, but even the most callous, hardened jerks will begin smiling once the boat is cruising along & the breeze is whipping through their hair. I think it's because the Delta has magical qualities :)
