I would not recommend renting from this place. Poor customer service, damaged equipment, and unfair charges. Save your money and go somewhere else.

In my party, there was 5 of us, who were all curvy and we all got in and had a fun time. Shawn, our gondolier and owner, played music, gave us information, and even sung songs. We were able to book our campsite only two weeks in advance while many other campgrounds in the area were already fully booked. The price was reasonable, especially considering that bathrooms and hot showers were included. We chose a campsite close to the shower building, although the campground map on the website doesn't provide much information about the surrounding areas of each site. Upon arrival, the access code had already been texted to us, making check-in quick and hassle-free. Our campsite had several trees that provided plenty of shade, and there were BBQ grills available for use, although campfires were not permitted during our stay. The campsite was also conveniently located near the lake access area for water activities. The water gets noticeably cleaner as you move into deeper areas. There is also a small convenience store located at the far end of the campground for basic supplies. The biggest drawbacks were the shower and restroom facilities. The shower stalls felt somewhat run-down, with low water pressure and water temperatures that were excessively hot. After dark, there were a lot of bugs and spiders around the facilities. The bathroom lights were not working during our stay, so we were thankful to have a powerful flashlight with us. Another challenge was the local wildlife. There were quite a few skunks roaming the campground, and they seemed very interested in digging through trash and food storage areas. We ended up storing our food and snacks inside the tent every night and whenever we left the campsite for water activities. Cell phone service was also a major issue. We have T-Mobile, and despite showing 1 bar of 5G, 2 bars of LTE, or even satellite connectivity, data service was essentially unusable. Apps like Facebook, Instagram, and even basic web pages would often fail to load. If you need reliable connectivity for work or communication, be prepared for limited service. Overall, it was a positive experience. It's a campground, not a luxury resort, and it provided the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. Having running water, hot showers, lake access, and decent campsite amenities made it a worthwhile trip. We would consider staying here again. Pros: Easy booking, reasonable price, shade trees, lake access, convenience store, and included showers and bathrooms. Cons: Run-down showers, poor lighting in restrooms, bugs and spiders at night, persistent skunks around campsites, and very limited cell service.

Came across this kayaking company via instagram and had to check it out. They were offering a full…read moremoon guided tour and I wanted in. Prior to excursion, my friends and I had to reserve a spot on their website. The initial tour ended up being fully booked, however, James the guide offered open up another day due to the moon tour being so popular. The meeting area was at the boat launch ramp area. We signed waivers and were given a run down on kayaking 101 (it was our first kayaking excursion) with 4 other people. The weather was warm, the waters were calm and the mosquitoes were biting. So don't forget to apply sunscreen and have plenty of bug repellent! Wear water shoes, bring snacks and water. Also, maybe bring a small fanny pack or water resistant bag to carry small items in. As we paddled, James checked up on everybody and made sure we were all doing okay. Along the way he informed us about the wetlands and what type of wildlife were around. James even provided us with his own bug repellent to use to keep the mosquitoes at bay. Once it was dark enough, we settled in an area of the wetlands to wait for the moon to rise. My friends and I were elated and in awe that we got to see the Harvest moon rise on the hills whilst kayaking. Kodak moment for sure. The journey around Suisun Bay lasted for about 2 hours. It was a cool experience, especially with the moon acting as our guiding light. My arms definitely got in a work out from paddling so much. Overall, great experience, reasonably priced and James was professional and informative. Highly recommend!

What was once a worthwhile club appears to be in clear decline. From my direct experience, the…read morewarning signs are hard to ignore: management turnover, frustrated employees, and ownership that no longer seems willing to invest in the club's future. Prospective buyers should look closely before committing. The fleet is now made up of aging boats, roughly 4-6 years old, and the wear is evident. Inventory has reportedly been reduced from 9 boats to 5, including only 2 surf boats, while pricing remains unchanged. At the same time, members are being asked to move to an "unlimited bookings" model that still limits usage to no more than 3 bookings per month!!! Last season alone, boats experienced issues ranging from failed ballast pumps and broken amps to damaged railings and inconsistent availability. Yet despite reduced inventory, aging equipment, and declining service levels, ownership appears intent on maintaining the same pricing without meaningful reinvestment. Anyone considering joining should do their homework, verify the facts independently, and speak with former members. Membership has reportedly fallen from 42 to 17 and continues to trend downward. That kind of decline does not happen without reason.

I was in site 27 which was longer than it looked on the map or in the photos. I could see the creek from there. I'm not sure there is a bad site there...some had more shade, depends what you like. There are levels...I don't think you can see the water from the upper campsites, but more sun and partially sunny sites up there When alerted to a broken and stuck branch that could have been a problem, the rangers had it taken care of within half an hour or so. Staff was friendly and drove through regularly. The peacocks were fun... fearless, too, so we got a good look at those gorgeous birds. Quail, woodpeckers, a variety of birds. A great place for naps.

Loved talking with Drew beforehand, learning about wetland restoration efforts and how quickly nature can rebound. The slough was peaceful and sparkling on this sunny October afternoon. We observed cranes and fish nibbling at surface snacks. In the distance, you can see Mount Tam and a bit closer--the Brazos railroad bridge. While there is much to see and do in Napa, this experience at the end of our trip was a definite highlight.
