Hyper Kidz is a spacious indoor play center to help parents when their little ones are going stir…read morecrazy, especially over the winter. As with most play places, there are party rooms and an enormous, enclosed jungle gym-type structure. There are two areas where height is restricted to protect little ones from larger, more aggressive kiddos. The indoor basketball court and soccer field are a nice touch. Since this place opened in 2025, everything looks well maintained. Hyper Kidz loses a couple stars because... - I never saw anyone cleaning. - The visibility is terrible if you're a parent trying to track your kid outside the height-restricted areas. - While they have stools and ledges for parents to sit within the play area, the ledges face *away* from the main play structure, so it's not like you can look over your laptop to glimpse your kids from time to time - you're usually facing away from them. - The stools are too low to the ground and they have no back, so it's uncomfortable to sit for extended periods. - There was one (one!) employee working an enormous check-in line when I arrived at 12:18 p.m. on the Saturday after Christmas. Good lord, get her some help. - The bathroom situation is a disaster. As parents fill their water bottles, water spills all over the floor between the bathrooms. (Invest in one of those great water refill stations they have at O'Hare, Hyper Kids!) There's a weird bin with plastic booties you can put on to wear into the bathroom, but the trash bin for them outside the bathrooms was overflowing. - The entry area is pathetically small for how many people are here. Just a handful of tables (all covered in food leftovers). Monday-Thursday pricing: Infant, age 0-11 mos: $9.99 Toddler, age 1-2yrs: $12.99 Child, age 3-13: $14.99 Friday-Sunday pricing: Infant, age 0-11 mos: $14.99 Toddler, age 1-2yrs: $17.99 Child, age 3-13: $19.99 Apparently Wednesdays are $9.99 for all ages, so aim for Wednesdays, I guess. Of all the kids' play centers in the area I've been to, Ball Factory in Mount Prospect is the best staffed and most well-maintained. My kids are currently getting hot and sweaty somewhere inside Hyper Kidz, but I can't see them and they occasionally return to me to report that some kid hurt them or some hag of a mom yelled at them. I cannot see or prevent this because I cannot run laps around an enclosed play structure to try to keep tabs on them. But my kids seem to be having fun, so that's nice.

They…read morehave all levels from house to club and also do private lessons which was big deciding factor for us. She decided to play a little older than a lot of girls so we obviously weren't looking for a club team, we wanted a house team to see if she would enjoy the sport and then if so we could do private lessons to help get her up to speed quickly. It worked out perfectly, she's now on at the club level and really enjoying it. The bigger thing is how much my child enjoys her time at Eichs as a parent, she loves coming and going. The staff is always looking out for the kids 1st and it shows, their approach has built up her confidence as well as her skill. If your looking to get your child into this sport this is a great place to start and grow. We have played house, beach, and now club as well as the private lessons and super pleased, go check them out and see for yourself.

They will make a ton of promises and never follow through with them yet take your money. We signed up for club for $1100 and about $1800 total later, my daughter was put on a team where the coach had no real club experience and the team was created from grabbing people off of the street literally. Parents were ready to pay but the girls had no interest and very little experience. Tournaments consisted of a silent coach that gave no feedback or direction and girls goofing off on the court, standing still, or rolling their eyes when a ball came close to them. The only points my daughters Eichs team made was from the other team's errors. Eichs hides when any conflict arises and then buries you in more lies. They invested in a new VB court when their batting business tanked but the court is too low to have a solid practice on it yet the club experience is on that court while rec teams have the proper courts. The air conditioning is only on when parents are around. Think about summer practices and open gym before you drop your kids off.

Most importantly, our daughter feels like she has found a second home at Big. These kids are constantly moving (think circuit training) and being observed at all times. My daughters sportsmanship seemed effortlessly developed. My experience with this gym has been terrific. I would highly recommend starting any child's gymnastic or tumbling experience here to get the best start!

I am super impressed!…read more This is going to be a long winded review. Let me start off by saying my 11 year old daughter has done competitive cheer for 4 or 5 years. The team she was on was good but never won the super big competitions. My daughter was discouraged so much that she wanted to stop cheer. We offered to switch teams but she said she wanted to try something else. She loves to dance as well as gymnastics/tumbling so we investigated some dance schools in the area. A year or so ago while she was still doing cheer we signed her up for a recreational class at Xtreme so she could try it out. She enjoyed it very much so we decided to sign her up for one of their more competitive teams this season. She wanted to try out for company but we didn't know how that would go since she was new, we didn't know if there were politics that may keep a new student from making one of the higher level teams or if she was even good enough to make the team. We explained to our daughter not to get her hopes up, however when the time came she made it all the way up on the Gold Level team, she was ecstatic! Xtreme has many different levels which will probably cater to most all skill levels from beginner to advanced. Now that we are five months into this season and completed two regional competitions I can leave an honest review...my review is that Xtreme is awesome! My daughter's team won her first competition and took 2nd in her second competition but that doesn't tell the whole story. Xtreme wins everything, well not literally everything but almost lol. In the overall scoring they took 1st overall and had three teams in the top five. During the awards all you hear the announcer saying is "Xtreme Dance Force, Xtreme Dance Team" over and over as different Xtreme teams/lines win. When my daughter did competitive cheer there were always those two or three teams that always seemed to win everything, well it appears Xtreme is one of those schools/teams that win almost everything and our daughter couldn't be happier to be a part of it. Staff and teachers seem great. Being our first year my wife and I always have lots of questions, the staff probably wants to strangle us sometimes but they're always very helpful and friendly. My daughter says the teachers are all very nice and encouraging. She's already taking about next year and wanting to do more dances and try out jazz and lyrical next season. I'd highly recommend Xtreme whether you're looking for just recreational dance instruction or highly competitive levels of dance for your child.

Over the past 6 months, it's turned into something similar to goldfish where it's a different teacher every week. One teacher came out and said I'm not really sure what he should work on, but I'm not here next week. That was the last straw for me. Too much time and money to not have consistency and see the teachers just standing around talking to each other in the pool or looking disinterested with a Stanley cup. Not sure how you can teach while sipping out of your Stanley cup in the pool. Bye aqua tots!

They are incredibly talented and know the sport well, as former gymnasts themselves. My girls look at the gym as their second home and love going to practice. Great coaches who care about their athletes are tough to find: I know that from my own experience as an athlete. I am really satisfied with Premier West. I see that some people think the coaches are hard on the kids, but I don't really see that. I think they could push my daughter a little more. She was often getting bored not being pushed to challenge herself or learn something new. I am glad to say that the coaches did notice this as well and pushed her up into the next class level before I was able to bring it up to them. She is much happier in her new class level and is being challenged to meet new goals. They are also very nice to the girls. My daughter loves her coach and is excited to see her every week. The gym is busy with people. So that must show that they are doing something right. Premier offers many class options and they have reasonable sized classes. The classes are not too large where kids get over looked. We searched the local area for other options before picking Premier and for the price, this is the best place by far. They allow you to make up classes if you miss, many other places don't do that. So your child can take a break if needed and not fall behind, plus you never really feel like your money is wasted when you miss a class.
