They are incredibly talented and know the sport well, as former gymnasts themselves. But what makes them especially valuable to me is that they see my girls as individuals and coach to their strengths, weaknesses, and individual goals. My girls look at the gym as their second home and love going to practice. Great coaches who care about their athletes are tough to find: I know that from my own experience as an athlete. I couldn't recommend the gym highly enough.

While there are many options to choose from, the membership price was steep for our family. In late May 2022, I opted to pay the "new" member fee and start the month billing so I could return to riding the bike. Fast forward to today. I have been to the DGPDRC 4 consecutive weeks and have yet to find an employee who knows how to use Life Fitness phone ap correctly. Week #1 I tried to use it without instruction. Failed Week #2 No one knew how to correctly use the ap. Week #3 Luke said he would help me today, but when I arrived today I found out Luke is no longer employed there. Week #4 "I'll look into this." It's an affordable gym with good parking and friendly staff. Very convenient for DG residents. However lately the quality has diminished. No one seems to care to keep the equipment or bathroom clean. They've let go of staff that worked hard to keep the facilities running smoothly. Towels are starting to look like rags. They've opened the track for free for non-residents and lucky us WE get to pay more. How is that fair?! In fact, since making the track free the quality of the gym has gotten much worse. I mean, If you're not paying for the facility why care right? Super disappointed. Despite multiple attempts to contact the district, they are unresponsive and uncaring. It's worth considering another gym that cares more. But if you're not picky and want low membership fees, give it a shot.

My sister recently hosted a birthday party at Get Air, and unfortunately, the experience was…read moredisappointing due to several issues that need attention. The biggest concern was the temperature in the party room. We had more than 40 guests in the room, and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. There was only one fan available, and when we asked if another fan could be provided, we were told that the additional fan was reserved for guests using the massage chairs. Given that the party room was packed with over 40 people, it seemed like a much greater need existed there than in the massage chair area. The heat became so unbearable that several guests went to their vehicles to retrieve battery-operated fans just to stay comfortable. One family even left the party early because of the conditions. It was clear that the room's ventilation or air conditioning was not adequate for the number of people using the space. Installing blinds on the large window may help reduce heat from the sun, but the HVAC system should also be evaluated to ensure the room remains comfortable for party guests. Another issue involved cleanliness and customer service. One of our party guests became sick and vomited. When the employee who appeared to be the supervisor on duty was informed, his response was disappointing. He appeared irritated and stated that he had another party to attend to and would get to the cleanup later. This was not an appropriate response to a situation involving guest health and sanitation. Based on this experience, I believe this location would benefit from: Additional staffing to properly support multiple parties at the same time. Improved customer service training for employees. An inspection of the HVAC system in the first party room to address the excessive heat. Additional cooling solutions, such as fans and window blinds, to keep guests comfortable. While the children enjoyed the attractions, the overall party experience was negatively impacted by the uncomfortable conditions and lack of responsive customer service. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements for future guests. These kids are constantly moving (think circuit training) and being observed at all times. She decided to play a little older than a lot of girls so we obviously weren't looking for a club team, we wanted a house team to see if she would enjoy the sport and then if so we could do private lessons to help get her up to speed quickly. It worked out perfectly, she's now on at the club level and really enjoying it. The bigger thing is how much my child enjoys her time at Eichs as a parent, she loves coming and going. The staff is always looking out for the kids 1st and it shows, their approach has built up her confidence as well as her skill. If your looking to get your child into this sport this is a great place to start and grow. We have played house, beach, and now club as well as the private lessons and super pleased, go check them out and see for yourself.

They will make a ton of promises and never follow through with them yet take your money. We signed up for club for $1100 and about $1800 total later, my daughter was put on a team where the coach had no real club experience and the team was created from grabbing people off of the street literally. Parents were ready to pay but the girls had no interest and very little experience. Tournaments consisted of a silent coach that gave no feedback or direction and girls goofing off on the court, standing still, or rolling their eyes when a ball came close to them. The only points my daughters Eichs team made was from the other team's errors. Eichs hides when any conflict arises and then buries you in more lies. They invested in a new VB court when their batting business tanked but the court is too low to have a solid practice on it yet the club experience is on that court while rec teams have the proper courts. The air conditioning is only on when parents are around. Think about summer practices and open gym before you drop your kids off.

Another issue is the lack of supervision when it comes to bullying. There have been several occasions where older or more aggressive kids were pushing, cutting in line, or being unkind to younger children without any staff stepping in. The playground itself has potential, but I hope management puts more focus on cleanliness and creating a safer, more welcoming environment for all kids.
