You can find me at the DuPage River Sports Complex almost every day of the week riding along the trails and playing tennis pending the weather. It's a great park because it offers so much and is open to the public at no cost.
There are basketball courts, tennis courts, baseball fields and bleachers, multi-purpose fields, an in-line skating rink, restrooms, a picnic shelter, and tons of trails (paved and unpaved). The park district does an excellent job of maintaining the fields and courts, and keeping the trails clean.
I am most excited because when my husband and I went for a bike ride today, we saw them working on adding more trails! The paved trails are really great because they are smooth and wide, perfect for runners, walkers, bikers, or skaters. The dirt trails are a little more rough, but a lot of fun because they run along a river and there aren't as many people on them. We rode on a couple today and got quite muddy, but it's great fun! read more
