They changed the date of the league so I was told they would credit my account the $120. After a couple weeks I noticed I never received this credit. When I went in to discuss this, they noted in my file that a couple weeks prior, their employee had actually tried 3 times to credit my account but some glitch(?) was keeping it from going through. Glitches happen. I get it. The problem is that there was no follow through by Sure Shot to ensure the credit was eventually given (nor did anyone contact me)! So if not for me noticing this on my credit card bill and following up, Sure Shot was fine having my $120. AFTER I bring it up, they give me the credit, but decline to give me a requested $60 of court credit. The reasoning is that this has never happened before. So they were fine with an extra $120 from a customer but didn't want Sure Shot to take any loss to make it right with the customer.

Yes, I replied. You have to sign a waiver. Go up to the front desk and scan the QR code. Which I did but was never checked that I did. There was no welcome, no greeting, no explanation of the layout or amenities. No discussion about membership. Nothing. I was part of a meet up group who arranged the court reservation where I paid $7 which I am fine with. When you look at their website they have so many layers and it appears all memberships are full? What the.. and then not engaging me as a new customer. They have to work on the marketing and personal approach which was dismal. I found changing area in the back which coed, pipe and drapes set up. Very basic. Restrooms were clean and neat and plenty areas of sitting space alongside courts. The entry way front desk are is so cluttered with stuff. Plenty of parking. Even the entry is confusing with blackout doors.

My son ended up getting a couple private lessons from her. When we came in our lesson was on the courts to the right. When my son came back for his private lesson, he went to the courts on the left, and he said they were air conditioned..... Overall, a great experience.

She's competed and made new friends through their open plays and events. Whenever I visit, we spend about 60% of our time here. Everyone I've met has been pleasant, and it's like being surrounded by family and friends. Usually, when we play for hours, we go up to the restaurant area and grab some wings and some brew. We've even jumped on the mic during Karaoke night, which happens on Fridays. The only thing I wish they could change is the time the restaurant closes - they typically have open plays at night that end at 10pm, which is the same time the restaurant closes and that's when a lot of us have been craving those wings! Regardless, this is definitely one of my favorite things to do in Rockford.

Outside the party room there had to be at least 12 pickle ball courts. There was a huge bar in the front and some nice patio seating. I haven't played pickle ball since high school and it was my favorite gym sport. I think that one day I'll pick it up. The reason for my rating is mainly based on the food. Hand-rolled pizza was soft and fluffy, the waffle fries were soft, but tasty, and the ranch for the chicken tenders was out of this world. For the food alone, I would be back. And maybe try tor pickleball too.

Courts wise - 7 courts, all using Selkirk semi permanent nets, balls located around the courts, paddle system for Rack and Play, challenge court during Rack and Play. They also have water fountains, some drinks to buy, a small lobby, and paddles and equipment to purchase as well. The Rack and Play is great! You get to play with a ton of people and get a ton of games in. It's affordable too! I think too many new indoor places want to do all the bar/food/fad type of experience. If you're looking for an indoor tennis membership, Wheaton Sport Center (WSC) is an excellent…read morechoice. They have friendly staff, efficient service, and adequate facilities and equipment. For our family, WSC serves multiple purposes. My husband is an active tennis player who tries to play at least twice a week. Considering how brutally cold Chicago winters are, it wouldn't be feasible to play outdoors during the winter months. So with WSC, he has been able to find a community of players to play throughout the winter. On the weekends, my husband would give our young girls and cousins private tennis lessons. There are four, all year-round, indoor courts, and eight dome courts for the winter. We have been consistently going every weekend for the last four months and have yet to encounter any availability issues. In addition to tennis, our girls have also joined the swimming lessons. For level 3, there are usually 2-4 instructors. Thus far, we have had a good experience with Ms. Abby, Mr. Christopher, and Ms. Christina. The class size is generally around 8-12 kids depending on attendance. Knowing how young children are, it takes a ton of effort and patience to get them to listen to instructions. Huge kudos to these instructors for having that high-level patience! As for myself, I would utilize the gym equipment such as treadmills, ab machines, and weights. All of the equipment are well maintained and clean. WSC could get busy on the weekends but I have not had trouble with machine availability. All in all, WSC is a solid place for anybody looking for a place to play indoor tennis, have young children who are interested in swimming, and/or just trying to maintain healthy life choices.
