Yes, I replied. You have to sign a waiver. Go up to the front desk and scan the QR code. Which I did but was never checked that I did. There was no welcome, no greeting, no explanation of the layout or amenities. No discussion about membership. Nothing. I was part of a meet up group who arranged the court reservation where I paid $7 which I am fine with. When you look at their website they have so many layers and it appears all memberships are full? What the.. and then not engaging me as a new customer. They have to work on the marketing and personal approach which was dismal. I found changing area in the back which coed, pipe and drapes set up. Very basic. Restrooms were clean and neat and plenty areas of sitting space alongside courts. The entry way front desk are is so cluttered with stuff. Plenty of parking. Even the entry is confusing with blackout doors.

My daughter and her wanted to try pickle and after attending a fun (adult) pickle party here I noticed they offered kids lessons. My daughter and her friend took 2 sessions of lessons here during the winter. They were in the 13+ group and said there were about 8 kids in the class. They seemed to enjoy it. Once it got warm enough they opted for lessons outside at our tennis/paddle club (can't beat being outside), but said they would definitely want to take more classes here next winter. I also noticed they have younger classes geared towards my 8 and 11 year old boys so may consider for them as well. I hung out in the waiting room one day while they played and there were many groups of adults coming in to play pickle as well. I'm just jumping on the pickle bandwagon, but would also consider for myself next winter.

They changed the date of the league so I was told they would credit my account the $120. After a couple weeks I noticed I never received this credit. When I went in to discuss this, they noted in my file that a couple weeks prior, their employee had actually tried 3 times to credit my account but some glitch(?) was keeping it from going through. Glitches happen. I get it. The problem is that there was no follow through by Sure Shot to ensure the credit was eventually given (nor did anyone contact me)! So if not for me noticing this on my credit card bill and following up, Sure Shot was fine having my $120. AFTER I bring it up, they give me the credit, but decline to give me a requested $60 of court credit. The reasoning is that this has never happened before. So they were fine with an extra $120 from a customer but didn't want Sure Shot to take any loss to make it right with the customer.

Finally had a chance to visit the Pickle Haus, and I was pleasantly surprised…read more We came here for my nephew's 11th birthday. His mom booked the party room and there was a ton of space. Outside the party room there had to be at least 12 pickle ball courts. There was a huge bar in the front and some nice patio seating. I haven't played pickle ball since high school and it was my favorite gym sport. I think that one day I'll pick it up. The reason for my rating is mainly based on the food. Hand-rolled pizza was soft and fluffy, the waffle fries were soft, but tasty, and the ranch for the chicken tenders was out of this world. For the food alone, I would be back. And maybe try tor pickleball too.

I hear their tennis classes are great, but unfortunately it's a little too far for us in Glencoe…read more We have 4 tennis players in our family (including myself) so spend a lot of time on the courts. I recently discovered they have a great match play on Sunday evenings that you can sign up thru USTA. The kids can get USTA points, but it's much more lowkey than your typical USTA matches. My 12 year old has gone twice so far and has really enjoyed it. Jean (who runs the program) matched him perfectly both times and even offers some coaching during the matches. They mentioned it's moving to Saturday mornings for the summer so we'll try to make it a few times and I'd love my daughter to try it as well who is very into USTA tournaments right now. My son is going to try his first USTA tournament in a few weeks and I think will be well prepared for the experience thanks to this program.

Some of the classes are coached at college park and others at Marriott in Lincolnshire. The prices here are a tad higher than at some other northwest suburbs clubs, but this place is well worth the extra buck. The coaches are very very good. Classes are fast paced and very educational. Not only does this place have tennis courts but it also has racquetball, taekwondo, and a fitness club. What a variety! The facility itself is very modern, clean, and has many accommodations. The bathrooms/locker rooms are fanominal. They are always clean, stocked on free tampons, good blow driers, hairspray, free towels, lotions, razors, etc. You want it, they got it. There is even a whirlpool! The upper level is the main floor and it looks over the tennis courts, on both sized of the building. Amazing views! This is what every club needs. People can cheer from above without being on the same level as you, and everyone has a great view of the game. The staff is always very friendly. I give it 4 stars and not 5 because of a few things. The parking lot gets packed and is very hard to get in and out of it. The lighting seems to always make my eyes hurt by the end of my time there... And for some reason I feel like there is something always missing , like a welcoming atmosphere, feel like its missing here.. It feels like you come in play and get out without getting that warm comfort.. Whether you are new to tennis or have been playing for years I suggest you try it out, you are sure to like it!
