I visited Toastique about a month after their June 24 grand opening to redeem a free smoothie and BOGO gourmet toast coupon I got in the mail. The place is modern, bright, and definitely designed for Instagram with its trendy presentation and outdoor play area nearby. The staff was fantastic--manager Audie was sweet, honored my month-old coupons, and her team even celebrated her birthday during my visit. The service is a big plus here. However, the noise level is high with blenders and echoes, so this isn't ideal for business meetings or brunch dates. My biggest complaint was cleanliness: the utensils had food debris (I had to swap mine out), and there were bits of food on the shelves and even on the bathroom doors. For a place charging $16 for toast, this doesn't match the upscale image they're going for. Luckily, this is an easy fix if they pay closer attention. Food: The Peach & Prosciutto Toast ($14) was fresh and filling with creamy burrata and ricotta, though the prosciutto was sliced too thick. The Spicy Crab Toast ($16) was disappointing--soggy and briny. My Matcha Collagen Latte ($6) had good flavor but too much ice, and the Summer Peach Smoothie ($10) was just okay. Value: With coupons, I paid $22 for two toasts and two drinks. Without them, it would have been $46. The quality is good, but you can get similar food elsewhere in town for less (maybe not as "Instagrammable," but just as tasty). Overall: Great staff and pretty food, but pricey for what you get. I might only return with another coupon.

Salmon Pastrami Toast - A sandwich on a wooden serving board contains sliced tomato, cucumber, grilled meat, and a dollop of cream or cheese, topped with lemon slices and microgreens. The sandwich is assembled on a piece of bread, with visible seasoning and garnishes, and is presented on a branded wooden board in a casual dining setting.

Good addition to El Paso's growing food scene. Great choices and presentation was very well done. The coffee was also excellent. I left with a bag of whole bean coffee and a granola bar. Owner was there and a vet. Thanks for your service to our country and now food service to our Westside neighborhood.

A slice of multigrain toast is topped with mashed avocado, watermelon slices, cherry tomatoes, and microgreens, arranged as a gourmet open-faced toast. The toast is placed on a wooden serving board engraved with the Toastique logo, with a pair of gold-colored utensils resting beside it. The background features a light-colored countertop, emphasizing the presentation of the dish.

Stopped by to try this place while waiting for a table nearby--and I'm so glad I did! The food and service here were actually better. The avocado toast was topped with super fresh ingredients, and it's locally owned, which I love. I grabbed a coffee and the seasonal watermelon juice--both were delicious. Also loved the ambiance and decor. Can't wait to come back and try more.

This place just opened, and we thought we'd try it for lunch. I ordered the smoked salmon toast and the seasonal juice, which was watermelon, lime and ginger. Everything was great! Service was friendly, very clean, very light and airy. Will definitely return!

PB Crunch Toast - A fruit and granola platter arranged on a wooden serving board includes sliced bananas and strawberries, blueberries, granola, and a mint leaf in the center. The board is placed on a light-colored, speckled countertop. The presentation emphasizes fresh fruit and crunchy granola, suitable for breakfast or snack.

Really good!! No offense to moms but this was really good. Once again great service my coffee order was ready before I even sat down. Awesome

A dessert with sliced bananas, strawberries, and blueberries, topped with granola and a mint leaf, is presented in a rectangular container. The dessert appears to be a fruit and granola bowl or parfait. In the background, there is a cold beverage in a clear plastic cup with a lid, placed on an ornate metal table with a decorative pattern. The setting suggests an outdoor or patio dining area.

I have been to Mas y Menos 4 or 5 times now, and every time I hope that my experience will be better than the last but, sadly, it disappoints every time. The Pros: The space is spacious and bright, the ambiance is nice, they have free WiFi. Nice work space. The Cons: Every coffee I've ordered (usually a cappuccino) has been almost undrinkable. Acidic with an unpleasant aftertaste. Ordered a matcha last time instead, which was a better choice. The service has been disappointing. Every. Damn. Time. The place has never been full, but at each visit I've been kept waiting for an unreasonable amount of time. One time my husband and I went only for a glass of wine and were kept waiting 20 minutes for the person behind the counter to pour the wine. Went again yesterday. Friends who arrived and ordered before I did were kept waiting for their sandwich longer than I waited for mine. When my avocado toast was served, the toast was cold. Really hope that the owner(s) see this message and do something to make improvements. If the service, and the quality of the coffee and food were better, I would be here all the time, given that I live just up the road. As it is, I stop in about once every six months hoping for a better experience, but that hasn't happened yet.

I went to Franklin and a friend would take a group of us there for lunch. Every single time the burrito was delicious, and 1 burrito is enormous so that you fill yourself up and likely have half a burrito left for later. They are probably about a foot and a half long and stuffed to the gills with meat. I would guess they weigh at least a pound each. I have had the Carne Asada (my favorite), Carnitas, Mole, Chicken De., and Picadillo, and can testify that every single one of them is delicious. My friends that have had the others all claim they are equally as good. However, the best part of the burrito is the tortilla. These are made from scratch daily right in front of your eyes and they are easily the best tortillas I have ever tasted. When I moved away from El Paso every trip home I would have to stop at Alice the day I arrived and the day I left. Now that I am back living in El Paso, I make it over there at least once a month, and whenever my friends come back to town its one of the first places we visit. Alice the Burrito Lady makes a delicious, enormous, and fresh Burrito for under $5. If you are ever at the outlet mall nearby save yourself the money from the expensive frozen foodcourt food, and head on over to Alice. You won't regret it.

After learning that the owners were the same as those from a previous location called Nosh in Montecillo, I was excited to support a local business. My friend and I decided to give it a try. When we arrived, there was only one group of four people present, and it turned out the owner was hosting a meeting. We were welcomed and seated ourselves. The menus and water were brought to us, and after about five minutes, our orders were taken. I ordered the slider trio for $17, while my friend chose the truffle mac and cheese for $15. I also added a side of fries for an additional $5, and my friend opted to add chicken to her mac and cheese, which cost an extra $5 for roughly half a grilled chicken breast. Our meals arrived around 12:40, but the chicken was missing. The server had forgotten to add it to the order. My friend requested a side of green chile, and I asked for ketchup. Unfortunately, the server disappeared and didn't return until the chicken was ready, finally bringing out the extras around 12:50. I didn't even touch the ketchup. Since our lunch break was only an hour, I asked for a box to take my food with me which seemed to take a while to bring out. The flavor of the sliders was good, and I would consider ordering them again, but I would definitely opt for takeout for a better experience. The mac and cheese was also tasty, but the cheese was quite thick. Overall, I felt that the price and experience of dining there were not worth the visit. I hope they can improve their dine in experience.

Although this place does get packed around noon, they do have plenty of seating inside, as well as patio seating. Now let's talk food: for breakfast they offer sandwiches, paninis, pancakes, oatmeal, wraps and various other items. If you're a health nut you'll find some options here. My favorite breakfast items are the All American Scrambler which is your standard American breakfast: eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast. The Anaheim Scrambler which is similar to the All American except the scrambled eggs have veggies mixed in like an omelet. Lastly, the Anaheim Panini, is a delicious breakfast sandwich, it's made up of scrambled eggs, bacon, tomato, avocado, green onions, and cheddar inside two slices of sourdough bread. Yummy. For Lunch you have options such as Rustic Grilled Cheese, Club, Meatball Panini, Uptown Turkey Avocado Sandwich, Chicken Pesto Sandwich, Chicken Carbonara Pasta, Shrimp Scampi Linguini, Roasted Tomato Basil Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup, and various salad options as well as a kid menu. Every item my family and me have tried has been satisfying. The only item I do not enjoy here are their breakfast potatoes because they lack any flavor. Plain and simple, if your looking for a meal that isn't gonna leave you feeling sluggish and lethargic, this is the place. The portions are enough to curb that hunger but not leave you overstuffed. Their soups and sandwiches are tasty and their coffee piping hot and since it's self serve, you never have to wait around for that second cup. They do have a rewards program, and they also offer catering.
