This store is a refreshing change of pace to going out every night. They basically have a huge "to go" buffet. You scoop what you want and pay by the pound. Huge selection of drinks and desserts as well. They also have a grill to make burgers, chicken sandwiches and various paninis. My wife and I loved being able to walk in, pick what we want and take our food back to our hit room for more romantic food times. We enjoyed this little find a great deal. Their cheesecake is awesome. The fruit is extremely fresh and quite good. We were both impressed.

Great late night spot to pick up something healthy to-go. Got a made-to-order deli sandwich and fresh green juice. I took it back to my hotel. I wasn't going to eat it there but it was big & appears pretty clean, and the guy making my sandwich at 1 AM was super nice.

I don't think I can put the love I have for the sandwich makers at Toast into words. The hot sandwiches are beyond delicious and made so well. Very worth the price too. I've tried the chicken parm, the spicy parm, and the maximum (spelling might be wrong) sandwich and all of them are really great. Once I tried the sushi and that was a pretty big mistake (reason for four stars). That I won't get again but the sandwiches are always fantastic. The location itself looks clean and they have a huge variety of items. Not a long wait time either, they usually make the food pretty quickly

Having gone here many times, I recently started paying attention and noticed that they are thieves at the register. they work fast and take advantage of those not paying attention. this morning they charged me an extra $1.25 on a $8.50 sandwich. I called her out and she said she doesn't make the prices, they guys making the food do. she was trying to dodge the fact that she was stealing from me. the $1.25 wasn't worth any more of time so I left, but won't be going back again.

Charged 4 Haribo packas instead of 2. Put on 2 line items to fool me and didn't want to provide the receipt.

Check your receipt!! What scammers. Bought 2 Haribo gummy packs. I paid with card and got a quick look at the receipt. Scammer cashier here deliberately rung up 4 Haribo gummies instead of the 2. $3.50 each so overcharged $7. He put it as two line items to fool me. When I brought it to his attention he tried to give me $4 in cash back. When I told him to look at the receipt and that they were $3.50 each he acted upset and then dished out $7. Didn't even give the tax back. Asked him for the receipt and said they don't give receipts. Took a picture instead. I wonder how many unsuspecting people they scam like this.

I come here all the time and grab a quick to go breakfast. The staff is always very friendly the Spanish dudes on the grill and the Asian lady at the register they're great. Stopped by a little later then normal there's Spanish girl with glasses at the register. I said hi and asked for more napkins bruh this girl is mad STANKKKK. So I'm thinking w.e it's me maybe she doesn't like my face. Some guy walks in off the street asked her for something behind the register. Again she ignores him then give him an attitude. Then we both look at each other like, "what's her problem?". But whatever the next customer tries to pay. Guess what the same BITCHASS STANK ATTITUDE. Pretty wack honestly maybe she was having a bad day but damn. So for that 2 stars..... I'll be back (Terminator voice).

No part of the sandwich escaped the wrath of the ridiculous amount of red pepper flakes... ‍

Toast is a regular go to spot for me and my coworkers as it's a very short walking distance to my office. Great to nana quick bite. Today I decided to branch out from my regular poke bowl which is FANTASTIC.. do go try it. The old adage "if it's not broke... " applies in my case today. due to the cold weather I wanted some warm comfort food and opted not for my regular poke bowl but instead a hero sandwich. I picked a chicken cutlet sandwich w arribbiata sauce. Now I've had this sauce many many many times and I'm no stranger to spicy ...BUT this sandwich was totally inedible as is. They used an egregious amount of red pepper that I challenge anyone to be able to eat this sandwich as prepared and live . I lOVE spicy but this was ridiculous. I had to scrape all the sauce away and pick away the peppers... WHAT A WASTE. Toast I love you but this was a terrible sandwich and you need to re-evaluate. All I could eat from half pictured below. 20 min later my lips still burning.

A smoothie sounded like the perfect snack so I headed inside. Juice Generation is a small shop, mostly meant for take out orders. There is a small counter in the front you can stand at, but for the most part it's just a space for customers to wait and the counter and workspace behind it. To the right is the menu. The decor is really fun, centering on the brand logo and New York City itself. The place was super clean and organized. I was quite impressed. I wound up ordering the Peanut Butter Split consisting of Plant Milk, Peanut Butter, Banana and Frozen Coconut Milk. The staff was friendly and whipped the smoothie up very quickly. The Peanut Butter Split is perfect if you are into peanut butter and banana flavors. It was also not so thick that you would give yourself a headache drinking it. I really enjoyed it! This is a great stop if you need a quick drink, smoothie or snack.

The storefront on 9th avenue is very small with very limited seating but the vibes are great. The staff is helpful in letting me know what the menu has to offer. The fresh pressed juices are good and I love how the smoothies don't have any added sugar. Something else to note is that they do have food options - they're limited but there's still a decent chunk to choose from. Plus they come with protein too. I liked how my bowl had all the fixings and the pastry was "guilt-free" The prices are a bit hefty but for fresh juice and a yummy sweet treat, I'd be back for more.

I don't know why but something just same over me and having a juice beverage sounded correct - it must have been the nice weather that has finally hit NYC. Anyway, we headed over to check it out. JG sells a variety of juices and smoothies in several flavor combinations. Some of them are fruit-based, some are milk-based, and some have additions to help with immunity, detox, etc. Since I'm not a regular juice or smoothie drinker, I was looking for something with flavors I liked and not loaded with calories. I found that in the Cherry C Monster - this contained cherries, pineapple, dragon fruit, banana, and orange juice. The smoothie was quite good - lots of cherry flavor and surprisingly not too sweet. Service was fast and efficient - they're pounding out those smoothies at a rapid pace so my order was ready in no time. Overall, I had a good first experience at Juice Generation - I don't think it will be a go-to based on my tastes, but if the mood catches me I would definitely return.
