I was finally able to reach someone who came out to do an inspection and I was a told to call back once ai had the leak detected. One I had the leak detection completed I called TNT to schedule an appointment and not until a week later did I get a call back. So, I ended up going with another company. read more

We've been using TNT plumbing for more than 15 years. They have always been honest, quick, and done the job right.

We had a main line clogged late in the day on Thursday, they did come out a little after 5 said they cleared it. The next day things started draining slow. I saw waste all over the front yard. Called them ask them to come fix the situation they declined and said to just deal with it or wait a few days so they could come out. We called somebody else to get it cleaned out properly because I don't honestly know if they know what they're doing! There was a huge chunk of hair that was pulled out along with some tree roots. If tnt had actually run the line completely the stuff would not be left in the Drain The hair was not anyone in our house. We've only been here two weeks the chunk was the size of a tennis ball. I do not recommend this company to anyone unless you would like to pay somebody to do it twice right read more

I nave contacted TNT Plumbing 3 times in the past two weeks. I'm to understand they are under new management. The first contact the owner said he would get right back with me. 24hs latter still no call back. I called again Owner said Im out in the truck I will call you from the office. I said fine. I have an inspection that was done and there are some items I would like you to look at and give an estimate. He said oh great can you leave it at the front office? I said sure sounds great. This was done within the hour. Several days go by no call back. I again contact Owner this time at the office. He says Inspection? I don't recall an inspection. We talk and he says oh yes I remember but I actually would like to see it. I reply great and can you bring a camera I would like for you to scope the piping to verify condition. Owner says yes we do that service. So a week later the appointment time comes and goes. I call again owner says oh Im sorry that didn't get scheduled. Are guys are on another job, they will be done soon, they have the camera. I said ok I will wait. 2 hours latter a truck with two techs show up and we talk for a few minutes. The tech tells me oh our camera with the small head is not working, its been down for a few days,(something the owner knows and says nothing). The tech says I will only be able to come down from the roof and look at the main line from here to there. I wont be able to see any of the others. My reply Ok we are done here I will make other arrangements next week. I'm requesting to have things done properly here for peace of mind for the home owner and the renter. So I will schedule some-one dependable who can do the job. sorry you guys came out but, no thanks. The techs are likely good Techs no fault of there's. Very disappointed with this company. Received their number from a neighbor using them. One of their employees Israel came over and gave us an estimate on our project. He quoted us $160-200 and said it would take less than 2 hours. I contacted them via text to schedule appointment and owner Ted replied saying job was going to be $260-300. I asked why and he stopped replying. I called and be told me I should call another company.. Who does that? I didn't ask for any discount or special rate but I did expect you to honor the quote given or at least give me a reasonable explanation beyond: "It will be more than quoted you should just call someone else". Nothing changed on my requests or project so why rate is higher? I am a business owner myself and I know how important it is to honor what we promise to our clients. Our water heater died on a Sunday night. Gaah! The worst. We scrambled around, figured out how to shut off the water to it and the gas, and I started researching the make and model to determine its age. Whew, still under warranty for another 40 days! I found TNT's sticker on the side of the tank and decided to call about 7:00 that night. In my message I mentioned the warranty, that I needed someone to come first thing Mon. morning, and left my mobile #. Within 30 minutes I received a text message back, confirming that they would call first thing in the a.m. and get someone out. Monday morning George called at 7:50 am and asked what size heater we had. He aud he would have a guy come by between 8:30 and 9. The plumber arrived on time, determined the heater could not be repaired, and had a replacement in his truck and took care of it on the spot. Nice worker, courteous, punctual. I've used TNT for the past five years for snaking drains, installing toilets, dishwasher, disposal, repiping the garage and anything plumbing. They are my go-to plumbers. The house I bought several years ago needed repairs and upgrades. TNT does a good job and their rates are very reasonable. Ted owns the business and is a super nice guy. Totally incompetent! They broke my water regulator then refused to fix it. I was forced to pay for a new one even though they were supposed to only be replacing a nearby valve. It cost me an extra $120 on top of $250 just to replace a $20 valve. Initially it only took 30 minutes to finish the valve. But then I noticed wrench marks on the regulator and it was leaking! A day later the new valve was leaking! They use the cheapest way to connect copper pipes, pro-press, a method that uses a thin rubber gasket and squeezes the pipes together. It is much faster than soldering but the chlorine in the water will cause those rubber seals to leak. It is cheap and fast, that's why TNT Plumbing uses pro-press. They also don't tell you their warranty terms. I called the owner's wife to ask her but she said that she couldn't tell me over the phone because I could be a competitor! Then I get a bill that says that they charge for estimates, after they gave me a free estimate. Very confusing people. They had to come out three times for the same simple repair. The tried to blame my copper pipes for their incompetence. A month later the valve shows a lot of corrosion/electrloysis, the owner said it was caused by fog!? They also violate usury laws by charging excessive finance charge on late invoices. Ask to see an invoice before you do business with them. Read front and back. The actual work was ok. Their billing system is very unprofessional. I had a large bill that I was paying over time with a verbal agreement. I received three statements total in over three years. I never got payment confirmation on any of my payments. I tried to contact them by phone and email several times to go over the balance and never got a response. It was difficult to know if they were crediting my payments or what the balance was. They ended up putting my bill in collections. I have never defaulted a bill in my life and don't intend to start anytime soon. It's just a haphazard way to do business. Be sure to get everything in writing and keep proof of payment if you do business with TNT. I won't do business with them again. read more

When it comes to plumbing problems, a leaking water heater is a big one. I don't have a "go to plumber" in Lompoc, so I went on line. I couldn't be more satisfied with EVERY aspect of working with TNT Plumbing. Ted scheduled his tech for later the same day. Israel actually arrived early, replaced the water heater with a much more energy efficient unit and added an addition water shut off value so I didn't have to turn the water off to the whole house. He cleaned the area and hauled the old water heater away. I wish I could give TNT Plumbing 10 stars. My experience with them could not of gone any better. Went through Tower Property Management. Charge for snaking clogged toilet was $920.63. Line to sewer main was very short run, possibly 10.' Was told a camera would be put to identify problems, but was only talk. Took 4 calls, charged for all, including over time. Ted now ignoring my call to question charges. Bill also came with recommendation to improve line but nothing while he was coming back, again and again to clear line and pad bill. After two calls (3 hours) and new toilet, he continued the bill with another two days and 5.5 hours of simply snaking from roof vent. No one answering, or returning, my calls about the outrageous bill. read more

Do yourself a favor and find a reputable company, this is not it. At first, I found them cheaper than others. Maybe that's because they installed a water heater not to code. But I used them again (my bad) and got a faucet with hot/cold reversed, a hose bib that leaked, and a guy who thought it was ok to use channel pliers on the outside finish of a sink faucet. I'll pay more somewhere else and get the job done right the first time. Never again. read more
