We decided it was time to have a professional come out. We checked on Yelp and asked around the neighborhood. We ended up making an appointment with Laguna Tree Service. They arrived at their scheduled set time. Their group were very polite and professional. They cleaned up as they were working. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Price point wise, it's pricey! We could have gone with others that were cheaper. However, we needed this job to be licensed and properly insured!

Since then, my tree branches have grown back so much that they were touching my home. I ended up buying a pole saw to trim back myself. The initial trimming was not ideal either, they missed some crucial spots and the value for money is not there.

The price was low considering the other 2 estimates were moderate to high, the many 5 star reviews and seeing pictures helped me pick Golden Tree Care. I can say the reviews confirmed and gave assurance that they were the right company to help and for a good price. Highly recommend!

They didn't arrive until 8:30am and spent a significant amount of time at the start unclear about which trees were included, even though we walked the property with them. They took a one-hour lunch break, and by 3:00pm they wanted to end the "full day" with one tree still unfinished -- and asked us to pay for them to return another day to complete it. They also spent the last hour cleaning up, which took longer than it should have because the worker stationed at the wood chipper was on his phone much of the day. In total, we were charged for a full day but received about 6.5 hours of work, including the hour of cleanup and the time spent sorting out the plan. Overall, it ended up costing more than a more straightforward company would have, and I wouldn't choose this service again.

I reviewed the work I needed to have done with the estimator first and he came out to the job site on the day of the project to walk the property with me and the team Foreman to ensure that we were all on the same page. The Foreman reached out to me throughout the day if he had questions or wanted to present options that would be more aesthetically pleasing than what was originally discussed. At the conclusion of the job, the Foreman walked around the entire property with me to ensure that I was happy with the work that was completed. The work itself was very good: every member of the team seemed to approach trimming with an appreciation for the tree's health and beauty rather than just cutting branches. The property was cleaned thoroughly, including cleaning small twigs, branches, and leaves that fell into the pool. I would gladly recommend De la Cruz Tree Service to neighbors and friends, and will have them return to our home in the future to maintain our trees in the years to come.
