Our little gal was diagnosed with a speech delay. We started weekly visits in June 2021. Our daughter had a vocabulary of around 50 words, but she was not stringing together sentences. Now she's using 5-7+ word sentences and her vocabulary has more words than I can count. We had one visit per week where I picked up very helpful tips to continue throughout the week. Our daughter loved her visit each week. Robin and Brittany made learning fun. She's still asking me to "Go see Robin in the Castle" Thankful for all of their help.

He's not aggressive just starts to yell and cry when he's triggered. His OT therapist was on maternity leave and they couldn't put him with anyone else.. they didn't even try to work with him or his accommodations. I asked for him to have an individual speech therapy session and they said they didn't offer that anymore that everything had to be in groups.

Our uncle was cared for at his home by Arista for over a year. His nearest relatives--two of…read moreus--are on the East coast. It was his choice to live in the state he loved (AZ), and as he aged, we very consciously spent more and more time with him, alternating visits traveling there multiple times every year for long visits. We were also in daily contact with him by phone and email, and his very close friends--who also became ours--called us immediately if they were concerned about him. I have a master's degree in nursing and attended many visits with him with his doctors. All of that is to say that, despite living far away, we had a close relationship with him, his tight-knit group of local friends, and stayed very knowledgeable about him and his needs over decades, not just months. The hospice he used before Arista treated us as team members with easy communication back and forth, always including him. He changed to Arista to follow a beloved care provider, a move we supported. But at Arista, there was a palpably hostile attitude in administration toward coordinating and communicating with us and that intermittently flowed downstream to care providers. We held both his POA and MPOA and had witnessed in person, at his invitation, his advanced care directives and related documents--evidence of his ongoing trust. Nevertheless, we were clear from Arista our involvement was neither wanted nor needed re: his physical, emotional, spiritual or social care, a notably different approach than with the hospice before Arista or the hospice that followed Arista. Both of those recognized the strong relationship and welcomed us by phone and in person as his family and resources who could help bridge information on his life and health history. It may be a different experience for those who live in the same area as the hospice patient, but if you live far away, I would not recommend Arista. For whatever reason, they were clearly not interested in family involvement. When relatives age, family bonds can suffer if not fostered. For whatever reason, Arista clearly didn't see that as a goal. We were with him in his last days, surrouded by the incredible support of a different hospice, and it was clear to us he was relieved as well, as he'd already quietly told us that--while he enjoyed Arista staff and knew they were dedicated--the care was "not the best."

I strongly do not recommend this home health company to anyone. My experience with their services…read morewas extremely disappointing and frustrating. The front staff, especially Maxine, was consistently rude and disrespectful, making communication difficult right from the start. My skilled nurse, Shelia L., was habitually late and often missed scheduled appointments without any notice or explanation. This lack of reliability made it hard to trust the care I was supposed to receive. Keith, the physical therapist, was unfriendly and showed little motivation to help. Instead of providing the recommended two visits per week, he only showed up once a week over four weeks, which did not meet my care needs. Dena, the occupational therapist, also seemed disengaged and unmotivated during her visits, making the sessions feel ineffective and unhelpful. Overall, the staff did not demonstrate the dedication, professionalism, or effort that patients deserve from a home health provider. I cannot recommend this company to anyone in need of dependable and compassionate care.

Nursing care was excellent as well. Cleaning staff worked to keep the rooms clean. Cons: Limited focus on healing environment. Food was barely edible, hot food mostly cold, really unsafe, often couldn't tell what i was eating, they offer extra items on the menu, just check them off, yet don't provide little pencils, so that is a fail. The time i did order other items, not fullfilled. Erratic staff performance: often left the lights on after night checking vitals, often not all vitals taken, roomate left their tv on 24/7, so i had to listen to old tv shows, high level of noise from the hallways, Too many times Vitals equipment not working, broken. Communicated to management via web site response, no response to my note:,Fail Given i was in rehab did spend time watching netflix on my phone, took days to understand they had wifi, and to obtain the account name and password. So many little items to easily fix, to improve the experience, management not paying attention or maybe don't care. Changing the little things would improve the experience big time.

A housekeeper was dragging a large bag of laundry? garbage? through the hallway. The rooms were small, even for two people, and noted that some rooms had three people crammed in. I saw residents sleeping on mattresses on the floor. The plaster was falling off the walls. Baseboards rotting. The sign for the Utility room was missing letters. I felt like if this is how they cared for the building, what could I expect of the care for my friend. I would not have my dog admitted there. Cindy H
